Sorcerer’s Handbook

Chapter 173: Summary of the first volume and request for leave

Since no one reads the summary, I just wrote some random stuff.

Perhaps some readers already know that "The Wizard's Manual" is a custom-made book, but they can't guess what game it is customized for. This is normal - because I don't know either.

In fact, apart from Silver, Gold, Sanctuary, Legendary and some subsequent realm names, Party A did not have any mandatory requirements for me. Sometimes you have to sigh that there may really be charities in this world. And even for these realm names, I used Silver Single Wing, Gold Double Wing, Sanctuary Seven Colors, Legendary Colorless to put old wine in new bottles to make it seem less... ordinary.

Even the worldview and specific power system of the magician's world were made by me, with two important sources: "The Lord of Shenxiu" and "Girl, There's Something Wrong with You".

To be more precise, it is the Western fantasy chapter of "The Lord of Shenxiu" from chapter 261 to chapter 339. In this chapter, Wenplagiar used Cthulhu elements as usual, but the world view in it made me fall in love at first sight: there is a spiritual world above the real world, and the extraordinary people in the spiritual world can level up by passing through the XX gate, crossing the XX river, and walking through the XX wilderness. This world view that covers adventure and leveling up is exactly what I want, with both the fun of leveling up and the excitement of adventure.

For readers who haven’t read it, I strongly recommend reading the Western fantasy chapter of “The Lord of Divine Show”. The subsequent method of Ash’s smuggling will refer to the key plot twists in it.

As for "Girl, There's Something Wrong with You", I only referred to one thing: adventure in dreams with beautiful girls.

When I read these two books at the same time, I had a feeling: the adventure in "Shen Xiu" is very exciting, but the protagonist is the only one who plays a one-man show and frantically pushes the decryption process forward; in "Girl", there are a lot of interactions between the protagonists, but the adventure in the dream world is too ordinary (not interesting).

Then why don't I combine the advantages of both of them

So the virtual world was born, and its exploration mechanism also incorporates the once popular cave exploration style, monster hunter and many small settings that I can’t even remember.

Among them, the more knowledgeable readers may have guessed the origin of the virtual world view. There are fish on the sea, there are continents on the fish, and there is a cow on the continent...

As for the core setting "The Magician's Handbook", it is obviously derived from two old books "Small World Fun" and "Future Echoes". The former does not need to be mentioned, and the latter is a boring eunuch book, so it does not need to be mentioned either.

As for the main stage of the first volume, Blood Moon Kingdom, I didn't really think about it when I wrote it. I just extended it based on the idea of "judgment by voting". I wanted to write Blood Moon Kingdom in a good way at first. Ash, the unruly man, mentioned many times in it that "if I were not a contestant, I would definitely be happy to watch a Blood Moon Judgment variety show to relax after working overtime and going home."

If you were a law-abiding citizen like Freya, your life would be very peaceful. No one would dare to verbally insult you in daily life. Although you have a heavy student loan, you can pay it off with normal work. You can find a doctor to treat your illness for free, and there will be enthusiastic priests to help you when you have trouble. If you can become a magician, you don't need to undergo body modification, and you can have a variety of entertainment outside of work, and there are legal channels to deal with all kinds of desires.

But once you are assigned to a foster home, your future is basically determined. After all, wolf-killing ogres like Financier are a minority.

However, judging from Tingri's physical condition, he might not even be qualified to go to the orphanage, and he had to be remade on the spot in the church.

It's strange to say that when I was on the science fiction channel, I didn't write science fiction, but on the light novel channel, I wrote fantasy social deductions with science fiction elements...

What, you ask why come to the light novel channel

Because the atmosphere is good.

You see Du Tingbei, Chishuyao, Buqi Shixian are all on the light novel channel...

The title of the next volume is naturally The Continent of Time.

I haven’t thought about the preface yet. To me, the preface is like a spell that can effectively restrain my overly out-of-line imagination.

I have to get the second shot in the afternoon. Most of today has been wasted, so I'll tentatively take a day off tomorrow!

You asked about today? It has already been updated today (slipped).
