Chapter 746: Summary of Volume 3 and request for leave

You will never guess why I want to write about the wasteland: last year there was an activity to reward and feedback JD cards. After getting the JD cards, we found that the expiration date was 2100. Vera and Yintian said in the group that after a few decades after the Third World War, we would use this card to shop in the wasteland, and then I was suddenly struck by this point.

So I didn't write about the intrigues, the fickleness of the world, and the dark laws that are expected in normal wasteland novels (in fact, I haven't read a wasteland novel for a long time). I just wanted to write about 'backward people in the future using advanced technology from the old times'.

I can't quite remember where the Dafa setting came from. Theoretically, it should come from Xun Ge'er's words "If there is no torch from now on, I will be the only light" and "Tear off the ribs and use them as torches", mixed with a little ancestor worship. The belief in Dafa and the curse of the green-straining match each other. As the saying goes, "People without dreams will be crushed by anxiety (green-straining)", so ordinary people who don't believe in Dafa cannot resist the invasion of the green-straining in the night, but your belief in Dafa means that you must devote all your efforts to pursue your dreams and are not allowed to lie down.

In fact, in other words, "How can you sleep well at your age?" Master Senluo Zhan is an old PUA master.

Therefore, it is reasonable for Senluo Kingdom to be far superior to other kingdoms in peacetime. The Blood Moon Kingdom takes the elite route, and the Gospel Kingdom takes the big data route. Although the routes are different, both kingdoms acknowledge that ordinary people are lazy. The Blood Moon gives up on ordinary people, the Gospel Kingdom exploits ordinary people as much as possible, and Senluo rejects this concept.

Lazy? Don't want to work hard? It doesn't exist. If you don't want to suffocate for your dream, just suffocate in the green. Everyone, light up!

The rise of the Four Pillars God Religion is also very reasonable: the Senluo people have struggled for a long time, and finally waited for the Four Pillars God to spread the advanced idea of lying down.

However, the author does not agree that it is better to lie down or struggle. His state is more similar to that of the Four Pillar Gods believers in Chapter 699. After struggling for a while, he began to become lazy and rely on the Four Pillar Gods, but not long after lying down, he became eager to do something. Sometimes he was touched, sometimes he was ignited, and he was always confused. He couldn't bear to give up, and he didn't have the ability to update frantically.

I want to play games when I’m typing, but after playing games for a few days I find it boring and want to type instead. People are really strange.

Back to the Kingdom of Senluo, although it is a wasteland, I always feel that it has become a traditional immortal cultivation article as I write: modern people are all trash, the older the better, the powerful immortal tools (legacy) are all passed down from ancient times, and the final boss is the ancient elder (three gods)...

I actually quite like the plot where the three gods appear. It feels like the big boss who everyone has praised for a long time but has long been dead suddenly appears before your eyes.

The design of the Faraway Sky is quite ordinary. The affixes and treasures are actually based on the Rogue in Arknights (I know Rogue is very common, but I only played Rogue in Arknights at that time), as well as the design of the Dream within a Dream in the second volume of Demon Hunter. The Dream Bubble is the dream of the magician, and the Faraway Sky is the dream of the angel of Ruby Mountain.

However, this volume doesn’t focus much on the virtual world, and basically uses the virtual world to advance the relationship between characters. And after experiencing the second volume, I also began to wonder if I really don’t have the talent to write the content of the dungeon...

*

This volume is not really a road novel. Compared to the second volume, although Ash and his friends have visited many places, they did not focus on depicting the local customs and practices of different places. Instead, they focused on the emotional changes of the characters, which finally broke out before and after the Spiral of Silence. The overall rhythm of the entire Spiral of Silence chapter is actually the pursuit of Sasuke in Naruto.

The most important supporting characters in the third volume are naturally Black Crow and Mercury Trojan, and they happen to be very pure characters: pure justice and pure selfishness.

There is no necessity or sad past. Black Crow has been a righteous person since childhood, and Mercury Trojan is afraid of pain and death and loves to enjoy and power. The personalities of the two have not changed much from the beginning to the end of the volume, but through a certain amount of flashbacks (there is a reason why Naruto loves to reminisce), I feel that the character arcs of the two are still quite complete.

From the perspective of plot rhythm, because there is neither very great pressure (Blood Moon Trial) nor an obvious thread guiding the main line (Weaving Ceremony), and the plot is driven solely by external factors, the structure of the third volume is more scattered than the first and second volumes. The fourth volume has to solve this problem.

The chart stream is actually pretty good, but it’s a pity that it can’t be used anymore…

The third volume has about 230 chapters, and I hope the next volume can be further compressed.

At this point, the book should be more than halfway through (at least I hope it is more than halfway).

The title of the next volume is naturally Ruby Mountain. To be honest, I haven’t decided yet. It’s not that I don’t have anything to write, but there are too many things to write. There are many things that need to be solved in the next volume. How to connect them together is the problem. I need to discuss and study with the client and the editor...

What I am most looking forward to is naturally the method of smuggling across Ruby Mountain. I had thought of that before I started writing the book, and it has been hinted at in the previous text. Friends who are interested can guess it.

Rest for __ days, then come back... Write the interlude of Tamashi extra and Fiora. It would be best if I could save the draft for a few days.
