Chapter 5: Kill on Lingshan Mountain

Views:

Among all these gods and Buddhas, there are still some who know the reason.

The journey to the west goes from Nanshanbuzhou to Xiniuhezhou. The Great Leiyin Temple is located on the Lingshan Mountain in Xiniuhezhou. Now that Tang Seng and his party have arrived in Xiniuhezhou, I believe they will reach the Lingshan Mountain in the West soon.

But all this was disrupted by Ming Hong, and now the destiny is unpredictable. Buddhism should have flourished, but now everything is uncertain.

After Sun Wukong was taken away by Zhunti, he did not show up. Instead, he took Sun Wukong back to Lingshan and handed him over to Tathagata.

Although they are saints, there is still the way of heaven above them. Now that the will of heaven is in chaos, saints dare not act arbitrarily. The catastrophe has arrived, and they cannot predict their own end.

Lingshan Mountain in the West is a holy place of Buddhism.

Minghong flew directly to the Lingshan Mountain in the West on his somersault cloud, intending to break into the Leiyin Temple.

The twenty gods, the four great Vajra, the eighteen Arhats, the eighteen monasteries and the eight great bodhisattvas are all in the Great Leiyin Temple. Only the past Buddha Dipankara and the future Buddha Maitreya are not there. It can be said that all the gods and Buddhas of Buddhism are in the Great Leiyin Temple, wanting to see why the six-eared macaque is so rampant and dares to go to Lingshan alone.

Tathagata opened his eyes and felt the murderous aura through the misty temple gate. He put his hands together and whispered, "Here it comes!"

The other Bodhisattvas and Arhats on both sides also felt the murderous aura.

Lingshan is a holy place of Buddhism. It is impossible for there to be any murderous aura here. There is only a peaceful atmosphere and the belief in saving all living beings.

"Buddha, we are willing to go and deal with that demon monkey." The Dragon-Subduing Arhat stepped forward and said, accompanied by the other 17 Arhats.

Tathagata nodded slightly to the Arhat Subduing the Dragon, and agreed that the Eighteen Arhats should deal with the Six-Eared Macaque.

Although Tathagata knew that the Eighteen Arhats were no match for the Six-Eared Macaque, in this sacred mountain, the Buddha's magical power should be able to suppress the Six-Eared Macaque. Tathagata also hoped that the Eighteen Arhats could test the Six-Eared Macaque's skills. Although he and the Six-Eared Macaque had competed in magic power at the beginning, he did not show up at that time and did not test Minghong's depth.

When the Eighteen Arhats saw that Tathagata agreed, they immediately flew out of the Great Leiyin Temple together.

Tang Sanzang and his three disciples were taken to the Great Leiyin Temple. Now the journey to obtain the scriptures has changed. The difficulty of the six-eared macaque is beyond Tathagata's expectations. For the safety of Tang Sanzang and his disciples, he can only take Tang Sanzang and his disciples to Lingshan first.

Tang Seng didn't expect that he would arrive at Lingshan so soon after his journey to the West to obtain Buddhist scriptures. When he saw the Buddha, he clasped his hands together and stood by respectfully.

If it was any other monster, Sun Wukong would have gone with the Eighteen Arhats to fight the monster. But after knowing the power of the six-eared macaque, Sun Wukong did not dare to show off his prowess and could only stay in the Great Leiyin Temple, hoping that Tathagata could subdue the six-eared macaque.

"Buddha, why does the six-eared macaque have such profound magical powers?" Sun Wukong asked puzzledly.

Although there were countless monsters on the journey to the West, Sun Wukong was never worried. Although there were some bumps along the way, Sun Wukong knew that he had to overcome 81 difficulties before he could obtain the true scriptures.

The Tathagata was standing behind these four masters and apprentices. Which monster would really dare to eat Tang Seng? Not to mention that Tang Seng was the reincarnation of Jin Chanzi, the second disciple of Tathagata. If you don't want to see the monk's face, you have to see the Buddha's face.

Tathagata shook his head and said nothing. He looked at Guanyin and asked, "Venerable Guanyin, in your opinion, why is this six-eared macaque so powerful?"

Guanyin shook her head and said, "I don't know. The six-eared macaque once said that he wanted to come to Lingshan to understand the cause and effect. What exactly is the cause and effect? Can the Buddha explain it to me?"

Zhu Bajie didn't know how powerful the six-eared macaque was, so he just smiled and said, "If you ask me, what's the meaning of cause and effect? We are at Lingshan, the Buddha's territory, so there is no place for that evil monkey to run rampant. The powerful Tathagata Buddha will definitely subdue that evil monkey!"

Just as Zhu Bajie finished speaking, the Eighteen Arhats were beaten in and fell to the ground, and the clouds and mist dispersed.

Zhu Bajie was startled. He watched Minghong walk into the Great Leiyin Temple. He shrank his head, but was secretly surprised at Minghong's magical powers. He hid behind Sun Wukong and dared not speak again.

When Sun Wukong saw that the Six-Eared Macaque had actually broken into the Great Leiyin Temple, he was shocked for a moment, but he was more envious. He thought that he was also the Great Sage Equaling Heaven and had also caused havoc in the Heavenly Palace, but in the end he was suppressed under the mountain by Tathagata for five hundred years, wearing a golden hoop, and taking the useless monk Tang Seng as his master, who escorted him on his journey to the West to obtain Buddhist scriptures. It was really aggrieved.

If he had the same magical power as the Six-Eared Macaque, he would never have been suppressed under the Five Finger Mountain by Tathagata.

"Six-eared Macaque, the sea of suffering is boundless, it is time to turn back!" Tathagata said, looking at Minghong.

"The Buddha said, if I don't go to hell, who will? Since you are the Buddha, why don't you go to hell for me?"

"If you sow good seeds, you will reap good fruits. If you sow evil seeds, you will naturally reap evil fruits!"

Ming Hong sneered, "What a joke! Are you the one who has to judge the good and evil in this world?"

Ming Hong held the Sui Xin Iron Rod in his hand and walked towards Tathagata step by step. The eight heavenly dragons and the four great Vajra on both sides glared at Ming Hong, and were on guard against Ming Hong. If Ming Hong really took action, they would immediately attack her.

"Good and evil go hand in hand, there is a cause and an effect!"

Minghong touched his forehead, looked at Tathagata, and said with a smile: "Then who do you think is the cause and who is the result?"

Tathagata remained silent, just looking at the six-eared macaque. After a moment, he put his hands together and chanted, "Amitabha! Everything has its consequences. Everything between heaven and earth has been predetermined. You are going against the will of heaven!"

Ming Hong glanced at the gods and Buddhas present, then looked at Tathagata and asked with a smile: "God's will? Do you want my life, and I have to give it to you obediently? Tathagata, you want my life, aren't you unworthy of being a Buddha? Sweeping the floor may hurt the lives of ants, Tathagata, aren't you killing lives? Are you still a Buddha?"

"Tathagata, are you still a Buddha?"

Tathagata looked at Minghong and shook his head, saying, "It's not me who wants your life, it's God's will!"

"Stop talking nonsense. Since you and I both know the past and the future, do you know what our ending will be?" Minghong had just finished speaking when the iron weapon in his hand suddenly stretched out and hit Tathagata directly.

When the other gods and Buddhas saw that Minghong had already taken action, they immediately cast spells to deal with Minghong.

All kinds of magical powers and supreme Buddhist teachings are manifested in this sacred Buddhist land of Lingshan. People on earth can see the western sky, which is colorful, with rosy clouds and everything looks like an auspicious sign.

All the mortals bowed to the west, praying devoutly for the gods to protect them. However, they did not know that beneath the colorful lights, there was a murderous aura.

Good and evil are just a thought. One thought makes you a devil and one thought makes you a Buddha!

At Wuzhuang Temple, Zhen Yuanzi looked at the West, sighed sadly, waved the jade whisk in his hand, and rushed towards the West.

Minghong carried the defensive magic weapon, the Book of Earth, with him. He ignored the attacks of gods and Buddhas and rushed towards Tathagata.

The Tathagata sat firmly on the high ground, motionless. His six-foot-tall golden body and myriad dharma forms all appeared. His tongue blossomed like a lotus flower, chanting word for word: "Om! Ma! Ni! Pa! Mi! Hum!"

"OM! MA! NI! BA! MI! HUNG!"

The six-character Buddhist mantra, each word carries the supreme magic, striking towards the bright rainbow.

The sound of the Six-Word Mantra kept appearing in Minghong's ears, but under the defense of the Book of Earth, none of it could affect Minghong.

"Book of Earth?" Tathagata stopped chanting and looked at the faint golden light around Minghong with a little surprise.

He didn't expect that Liu'er Mihou would actually ask Zhen Yuanzi to borrow the Book of the Earth. Now it seems that Liu'er Mihou is really determined to fight to the death this time.
