In order to thank the Bodhisattva for blessing her well, grandma wanted to take her to a Taoist temple on the mountain to worship the gods.
In her last life, she didn't go.
Now, she wanted to be different from before, so she went against the grain and went to the mountains with her grandma.
The Taoist temple on the mountain is still the same as the one Yang Zimei saw when he was three years old. It is a bit dilapidated, and there are even big red letters on the surrounding walls that used to fight against feudal superstition and break the four olds, with big slogans such as Long live the leader of the Communist Party of China.
However, the environment here is really good!
There are towering ancient pines and cypresses planted all around, and I don’t know how many years old they are. They are lush and lush, and there are many birds singing happily on the trees. The fresh air makes people feel that the pores are open, and the mood is unconsciously happy.
After entering the Taoist temple, grandma's expression immediately became solemn and pious.
Yang Zimei looked around curiously, and found that although the Taoist temple was a bit dilapidated, the murals inside were beautifully painted and brightly colored. If it hadn't been destroyed by those annoying slogans, it should be regarded as cultural heritage art.
She remembered that this Taoist temple was also destroyed by fire when she was six years old. The fire that day fully lit up half of the sky, making the villagers panic and worried about disasters. Moreover, she also heard that guarding The only veteran Taoist leader of this Taoist temple was also burned to death.
Thinking of this, her eyes fell on the old Taoist who was helping grandma put the offerings on the altar.
This old Taoist priest is wearing an old Taoist robe that has been repaired many times, and is wearing a Taoist bun. His beard and hair are completely white, without a single mottled color. His face does not have many wrinkles like grandma's, but has a moist red glow. , the pupils of his eyes were not cloudy, they were piercing, so she couldn't guess what his age would be, but she just felt that he fit the image of an old Taoist priest with a sense of immortality.
Will such a person with a fairy spirit be burned to death
Thinking of this, her heart was filled with sadness again.
In the past, when I was working as a deceptive goddess stick, I always met some people who liked to ask about the future of fate.
Now, she found that if a person really has predictability but is powerless to change the direction of that fate, it is really a painful thing.
"Niuniu, hurry up and kowtow to the Bodhisattva, thank her for protecting you from disasters and disasters." Seeing her in a daze again, grandma waved and called.
She walked over.
The old Taoist turned to look at her, a slight surprise appeared on his soft and calm face, and he looked at her carefully a few more times.
Being looked at by him like this, Yang Zimei felt a little bit of being seen through her soul, she lowered her eyes slightly, avoiding the eyes of the old Taoist priest.
Grandma asked her to kneel down and kowtow in front of the Bodhisattva.
Yang Zimei knelt down on the futon. Although she was bluffing and deceiving in her previous life and did not believe in gods and ghosts, at this moment, her heart is pious.
She really wanted to pray to the Bodhisattva to bless her family in safety, bless her not to be an orphan with nothing to rely on, and bless her life to be rewritten and no longer a tragic fate to be manipulated by others.
While praying, she kowtowed three times heavily.
After she kowtowed three times and looked up at Ni Bodhisattva, the jade bottle in Ni Bodhisattva's hand suddenly fell and hit her forehead...
Ouch!
The huge pain made her dizzy and she fell to the ground.
When I woke up, I saw myself lying on a strange bed with a simple mattress. On the wall was a dilapidated portrait of Taoism, and there was a big old bookshelf next to it. There were many old thread-bound books on the bookshelf.
[Notes for reading: The heroine here is just an ordinary person, and she was an ordinary person who was very miserable in her previous life. I'm used to it, please don't read any more.]

[Digression: Why is there Guanyin in Taoist temples]
The merciful and compassionate Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva is enshrined in many Taoist temples. Avalokitesvara was renamed "Master Cihang" or "True Man Cihang" to receive incense from Taoist believers. Taoism even compiled a set of sayings: Guanyin Bodhisattva was originally one of the Twelve Immortals of the Heavenly Dao, a disciple of Yuan Tianzun. Later, the Western Buddha recognized that she had a relationship with Manjusri Guangfa and Samantabhadra, so they brought the three of them to the Western world. It's a bit far-fetched, but it's a bit similar to the Taoist saying that Lao Tzu went to Tianzhu to continue preaching after riding a green bull. Guanyin Bodhisattva is the incarnation of Cihang, and Cihang is Guanyin. Taoism respects Cihang, and Buddhism respects Guanyin. Therefore, Guanyin is a Bodhisattva in Buddhism, but also a god in Taoism. Guanshiyin Bodhisattva is Buddhist. There is also one in Taoism, called Cihang Daoist. Cihang Daoist (Avalokitesvara) Avalokitesvara is highly respected in the hearts of people all over the world. People who believe in religion or not, and regardless of what sect they believe in, believe in Avalokitesvara. , dedicated to the Avalokitesvara who rescues the suffering and the distressed, and Taoism calls it the real person of Cihang.
