On the Kuru battlefield, the Kuru tribe changed their commander again. Karna, the hero from Sudo, became the new commander of the Kuru army.
Karna rode his horse and stood in front of the two armies. He looked at Arjuna opposite and felt deeply in his heart. After more than ten years, they finally faced each other again.
This was his third duel with Arjuna, and perhaps their last duel.
The first duel took place on the martial arts field in Xiangcheng. He and Arjuna competed in archery. In the end, the two were evenly matched, but the matter ended because the sun set. But Karna knew that he lost a little in that battle because of weapon problems.
The second time was at the Black Princess's son-in-law recruitment meeting. The questions asked by the Black Princess passed through the small holes on the five rotating disks and finally hit the bull's-eye. Many princes who were highly skilled in martial arts failed one after another, but only Karna and Arjuna succeeded.
But later, the black princess stood up and said that she could not marry the son of a coachman, but chose Arjuna who was dressed as a Brahmin wanderer. After that, after listening to Krishna and Kunti's speech, Advice, while being married to Pandu with five, no, six children.
After Arjuna succeeded, Karna recognized him and had a brief duel with him. Finally, he left angrily because he did not want to disturb other people's weddings.
Now in the third duel, Arjuna held the sun-shooting bow in his hand and looked at Arjuna silently, thinking that this time he must kill the opponent under the divine bow.
Two half-brothers, one is the son of the sun god Surya, and the other is the son of the emperor of heaven and thunder god Indra. In front of the two armies, each holding a long bow, facing each other.
The armies of both sides silently seemed to be waiting for the battle between the two coaches. Whether it is the 100 sons of Dhritarashtra of the Kulu tribe or the 4 sons of Pandavas of the Panda tribe, they all have full confidence in their commander-in-chief.
The two sons of gods had the same clear eyes. The difference was that Karna's bald hair was shining, as if it were a mirror reflecting the sun's rays; while Arjuna's long hair was rising without wind, fluttering wantonly in the wind. .
Just when the two brothers were about to start fighting, suddenly, the sound of chariots and horses was heard in front of the two armies.
This is a large and exquisite carriage pulled by four white horses. The driver, known to both parties, is Guan Shengche, the attendant of King Xiangcheng Dhrita.
Both sides of the war could probably guess who was in the car at this time.
Sure enough, after Shengche stopped the carriage, he pulled up the chariot company and helped the blind lord of Xiangcheng, the king, down. Behind them, King Dharmaraja's queen Gandhari, his daughter Dushara, and King Pandavas' queen Kunti, the mother of the five Pandavas, also got off the bus.
Although King Chi could not see anything, he could probably guess what the scene was like at this time. He felt very remorseful in his heart. It was originally a harmonious family, but because he favored his own children and allowed them to harm the five Pandavas, it led to such a catastrophe.
You must know that at Kunti's request, the five Pandu disciples had even given up their hostility against the hundred disciples of Dhritahrita, but the persistence of the hundred disciples of Dhritarashtra finally pushed the situation to this point.
Unlike Dhritarashtra, Kunti could see the situation on the battlefield at a glance. Her two sons, each holding a long bow, seemed to be about to fight to the death.
Seeing this scene, Kunti's heart seemed to be broken, his face turned pale, and he seemed unable to even stand.
The arrival of King Dhrita and Kunti brought a temporary truce between the two sides. The hundred sons of Dhritarashtra embraced their parents and sister and returned to their tent; the five sons of Pandu also surrounded their mother and took her to their tent.
As soon as they entered the camp, the five Pandavas ordered their wives and children to come and pay homage to Kunti. The five of them took turns sleeping with the black princess, and each gave birth to a child. In addition, they each have their own wives and other children.
In addition, Krishna Krishna and his sister Princess Miriam also came to visit Kunti. After all, Kunti was their aunt.
Thinking of the scene in front of the two armies just now, Kunti's face was complicated and his words were sad. He looked at his eldest son and said: "Fight, is this war really inevitable? Your grandfather Bhishma, your teacher De Rona, all died because of this war. If the war continues, who knows how many people will die?"
Jianzhan heard his mother's sad words and was about to say something when he heard his wife Princess Hei had already stood up: "Mom, you must have seen what happened fourteen years ago. I suffered such great humiliation. My anger will not cease unless I see Duryodhana kill him. If we want to cease the war, let the Kurusu hand over Duryodhana's body."
After listening to the words of the Black Princess, Kunti couldn't help crying when she thought of the past and the humiliation and torture suffered by her son and daughter-in-law. However, she thought of her two sons going to fight against each other, so she couldn't help but say The truth came out.
"But you may not know that the commander-in-chief of the Kulu clan, the famous Son of the Sun Karna, is also my son."
After saying this, everyone present, except Krishna, could not help but turn pale with shock. This news was really shocking to them.
"Mother, what's going on?"
Arjuna calmed down and asked his most respected mother.
Kunti sighed sadly: "I once told you that the Immortal Weyi once gave me a spell to summon the gods to give birth to children. So the five of you are Yama, the dharma god, Vayu, the wind god, Indra, the emperor of heaven, and The descendant of the two horse boys of the god of medicine. Before I married your father Pandu, because of my playfulness, I accidentally summoned the sun god Surya, so I gave birth to Karna. At that time, because I was young, And in panic, he abandoned him."
After hearing their mother tell this past story, the five Pandu sons and their wives and children were silent. They never thought that Karna, who had fought with them many times and both sides vowed to kill each other, would actually be theirs. Brothers from the same mother.
Inside the camp, no one spoke for a moment. Everyone held their breath and thought about something, but they didn't know what they were thinking about.
At this time, Kunti's nephew, the cousin of the five sons of Pandavas, and the incarnation of Lord Vishnu, Krishna Youyou said: "Aunt Kunti, this is no longer a battle between the hundred sons of Dhritarashtra and the five sons of Duryodhana. The battle between righteousness and unrighteousness is a battle between righteousness and unrighteousness. If Duryodhana wins, then the entire three realms will become the paradise of Shura and the scorched earth of injustice. By that time, righteousness will not exist, and all living beings will be destroyed. To begin to perish is the greatest sin.”
"Karna is associated with injustice and deviates from the dharma. The best thing to do is to kill his body and let his soul return to the heaven."
"Haha, it's really interesting. If you don't listen to you, you will let people die. You are indeed worthy of the World Honored One. I just wonder if Shiva doesn't listen to you, will you let him die?"
An out-of-place laughter came, interrupting the thoughts of everyone in the camp, and then Ran Deng walked into the camp. Behind him were the Shanhui boy and the other Samana disciples, who did not bring the lanterns, leaving them to choose their own positions to watch the battle.
"Are you Ran Deng?"
When Kunti saw the man coming in, she immediately realized that there was no change in her appearance from the incarnation of the god before her reincarnation.
Ran Deng smiled and saluted Kunti. No matter what, this woman was the mother of his body, and she took good care of him in the ten years after his birth.
Kunti had just shed tears, and there were still tears in the corners of her eyes. Ran Deng saw it, frowned slightly, stepped forward, wiped away her tears, and said softly: "Don't worry, I have already dealt with Karna's matter." Found a solution.”
Without even thinking, Ran Deng knew why Kunti was sad.
"Really?"
A smile finally appeared on Kunti's face. She believed that Ran Deng would definitely help him. Just like before his reincarnation, in order to help himself, he would rather face the sun god in an incarnation.
Ran Deng nodded and said with a smile: "Of course it's true. Just prepare yourself. When night comes, we'll go get Karna to recognize his mother."
This news made Kunti even more happy. She hugged Ran Deng tightly and kept repeating "Thank you, thank you..." in his ear.
Krishna Krishna was also there. Hearing what Ran Deng said, for some unknown reason, a hint of gloom arose in his heart. In his mind, he kept predicting the outcome of this battle, and suddenly found that the originally bright future suddenly became blurry.
When he was making predictions, bright starlight, soft lights, mysterious black light, and holy white light all emerged in his mind, making it impossible for him to make any deductions.
Feeling these lights, Krishna immediately knew that these gods from foreign lands were probably going to use this war to cause trouble. Krishna gave up the deduction, snorted coldly, and looked at Ran Deng. What met him were the wise and warm eyes of Ran Deng, with an expression that was half a smile but not a smile.
"It seems that you want to save Karna, Ran Deng."
Ran Deng smiled faintly: "Maybe." Faced with the guardian god of the Indian divine domain, World Honored Vishnu, Ran Deng never had a good impression. He would rather deal with the indifferent Lord Shiva than with this seemingly kind-hearted Vishnu.
"Meet the teacher."
Suddenly, Krishna's sister, Princess Miaoxian, bowed to the burning lamp.
Ever since she received the many cultivation methods given to her by Ran Deng, Princess Miaoxian has been on the road of cultivation wholeheartedly. Later, Manjushri, who was renamed by the goddess of auspiciousness, came to guide her in her practice, and even made her appreciate the magic and power of the ascetic practice. She once thought about taking Manjushri as her teacher, but Manjushri told her that in this world, only Manjushri's teacher Ran Deng was qualified to be her teacher.
Seeing the princess, Ran Deng's attitude was very different from when he had just met Krishna. He asked softly: "Miao Xian, I must have known your origins by now."
When Miao Xian heard this, he looked up at his elder brother Krishna, and then nodded slowly. His brother is an incarnation of the Lord Vishnu, but she is purely a manifestation of Vishnu's illusory power and can hardly be considered a real existence.
"Although you have obtained the dharma of the ascetics, you still need to practice hard and practice asceticism in order to realize yourself, turn illusion into reality, and free yourself from the illusion of Vishnu. Since you worship me as your teacher, then I will change your name. Let you always remember your own danger.”
"Please also ask the teacher to give me a name."
Ran Deng looked at her and waved a light of enlightenment, which fell on her body: "'Xian' already means all the wonderful things, so there is no need to mention the word 'Miao' anymore, I will change it to the word 'Pu' for you. The intention that pervades everything.”
"The body's nature is universal, it is called Pu, and it is called Xian when it develops virtues according to circumstances; it is called Pu, when it is perfect and perfect, it is called Xian.
"For this reason, you should be called Universal Worthy."
Pu Xian clasped his hands together and said respectfully to Ran Deng: "Puxian thanked the teacher for giving me the name."
"I only changed the names of four people, the boy with two horses is Zhengfa Ming, the auspicious goddess is Manjusri, and Mitra is Maitreya. Your cultivation level is the lowest among the four. From now on, you must practice more and practice more to achieve enlightenment as soon as possible. Achieve the state of Arahantship."
Pu Xian nodded, left Krishna and stood behind Ran Deng. But her brother Kṛṣṇa just sighed and did not say anything.
He is Vishnu incarnate and also Krishna. From Krishna's standpoint, he also hoped that his sister Samantabhadra could come out of the illusion.
"Teacher, what is the Arahantship of renunciation?"
The Shanhui boy, who had been lowering his eyebrows since following Ran Deng in, now raised his head, staring at Ran Deng intently, waiting for his explanation.
Now that he had mentioned it, Ran Deng continued. He smiled and said: "Sramana practice is divided into Sotapanna, Stragami, Anagami and Arahant."
"Teacher please explain."
"Sotapanna is called stream-entering, but there is no entry. Those who practice ascetics can enter the Sotapanna fruition if they can concentrate their minds and enter concentration without being distracted by form, sound, smell, taste, touch, or law."
"Situohan is called a reciprocity, but in reality there is no reciprocity. This is called Situohan. When entering concentration, if things and I can be the same, and what you observe and think seems to be empty but not empty, you will enter the fruit of Situohan."
"Anagami is called non-return, but in fact everything is non-return, so it is called Anagami. If you can enter the door of samadhi during practice, there are no three ends of knowledge, ability to know, and knowledge, and you will take the supreme wisdom as your own. Form, with pure spiritual clarity as its own nature, is the fruit of Anagami.”
"As for the path of Arahant, there is actually no Dharma called Arahant. Among ascetics, when one can break through all the signs and transform all signs, he has attained the path of Arahant. The Arahant who is free from desires is the first among all the Arahants. One is the main god among Shinto, but it is also difficult to reach."
After hearing Ran Deng's talk about the various attainments of ascetic practice, the good and wise boy felt yearning in his heart and said longingly: "It would be great if I could become a renunciation Arhat."
When Shanhui Boy said these words, everyone around him looked at him in surprise. This young man who seemed to be from Vaishya had such a big heart and actually wanted to be on par with the gods.
Ran Deng just smiled and said nothing. How could Arahant fruition limit Shan Hui's future possibilities? Even the Bodhisattva's path and the Buddha's path are nothing more than the scenery on his road.
······
At night, Ran Deng took Kunti to Karna's tent as he had said during the day. Karna had already received the message from Adros and understood what Kunti had done. Mother and son recognized each other in the camp.
Then, Ran Deng lived in Pandu's tent and taught the practice of Samantabhadra and Good Wisdom. At this time, his mother Kunti was following him in practice. This mature woman who was deceived by the gods and remained a virgin all her life but gave birth to six children also decided to embark on the path of practice as a Samana. .
