At first, because I failed two consecutive civil service interviews and took the driving license test at home, I started to write about the Internet again out of boredom.
About three years ago, I quit my job, was bored, and was full of passion. I felt that I had seen so much on the Internet and should become a great master.
So, I wrote my first book, "Tao Qi Tai Wei", which turned out to be 430,000 words, and there was no news of a contract signing. Later, I felt cold and had no future, so I just went to work.
However, it is a fairy tale after all, a dream that only the Chinese can have. Now I often read that book and study my own shortcomings.
Alas, the past is over, I won’t talk about it anymore, most of it will be tears.
Greek mythology, at first, I didn’t even think about writing about it.
The first thing I wrote was a historical fantasy theme. The purpose was to write a fantasy or story that transitioned from "the survivors shed tears in the dust, and looked south to the king's master for another year" to "the nine heavens closed the palace, and the clothes and hats of all nations worshiped and worshiped". The world of high martial arts.
The outline was already written, and I had written tens of thousands of words at the beginning, but I thought about it carefully and thought that a new author writing on this kind of subject would be totally off-putting, so I put it down.
Then I thought of writing a book about myths in dreams. Speaking of which, the purpose was just for a gimmick, and I started by practicing in the less popular category of fantasy.
I chose Greece because it is the most familiar to everyone and there are various orthopedics that everyone likes to hear about. The opening chapter can attract readers.
The result was just as I expected. From the time I opened the book to the time it was put on the shelves, the situation was great. The first order almost made it a masterpiece.
However, as soon as the map was changed later, the subscription went bankrupt, which was unexpected but also reasonable. Readers who rely on orthopedics to attract readers, if orthopedics is gone, how can they expect support from others
In addition, myths from other places are not as familiar as Greek myths. Just like fan fiction, unfamiliar plots and characters are not fun at all.
At that time, I was probably quite conflicted. On the one hand, I wanted to get more profits, and on the other hand, I wanted to write the story I wanted to write.
You can't have both fish and bear's paws, and I don't know which one is bear's paw. Now that you can see this, you must already know what I chose.
I chose to stick to my own ideas and write the story I wanted to write.
It is a story of the transition from the primitive myths of various places on the earth to the heavens and the world. It is also a story of myths and history, combined with each other. It is also a world of gods where rise and fall alternate, and the gods are always on the road.
You may also have discovered that by the end of this book, there is no such thing as good guys and bad guys. All the gods have different paths, and they are constantly planning for their own paths.
At the beginning, I knew more about Buddhist and Taoist classics, but in order to write this story well, I began to study various mythological classics, such as Othello, the Iliad, the Bible, the Nibelungenlied, and Azeroth. Vesta, Mahabharata, etc., these things began to be studied slowly, and then choices were made and integrated into history.
Not only these classics, but also some unofficial histories, or settings that are almost conventional, have been included, such as the settings of Satan and Lucifer, and many heavens.
Fortunately, I am quite satisfied with the final result. The evolution of the heavens and the world, the paths of gods such as Taiyi, Taishang, Tathagata, Bo Xun, Mingzun, and the protagonist's first cause achievement are all barely logical and self-consistent.
Of course, this book was originally expected to extend into the capitalist era or the socialist era, but religions were not allowed to be written, and Rome could not appear, let alone later.
I also look forward to a good environment in the future that will allow me to continue the story. Maybe the protagonist will be changed, but I think the future world where the gods have their own guidance, religious wars, and Buddhism and Taoism compete, should be more exciting.
Even the Ziwei Emperor's evolutionary singularity, the countless parallel universes created by the Big Bang, that is, the myriad worlds, can also evolve alien gods, mutants, various magical beings, etc.
The world has just been opened up, and this world should be extremely exciting.
Unfortunately, these cannot be written down for the time being.
All I can say is that I will never finish this book.
In the follow-up, I will write some extra chapters one after another to explain some situations in the universe. Even book friends can tell me in the group what they want to know. I will slowly research and write it out, which can be regarded as everyone's Let’s improve this world together.
Then, this book will also have a side story, which I have already mentioned, a pure fairy tale, a non-fiction version of the Shang and Zhou wars, a battle between ancestor worship and destiny worship, and a natural god. The battle with human gods.
Maybe he couldn't be called a fairy, after all, the immortal way had not been taught at that time, so he could only be called a Qi practitioner.
The protagonist is also Ziwei, but instead of Adros, it is Ji Kao. It is estimated that by the end of the text, Ji Kao will be admitted to the heaven, and everyone can guess how much.
It is slightly related to the main text, but I want to restore the true mythical history of Shang and Zhou Dynasties. I can only hope that this story will be worth reading.
This will probably be a long-term project. I can only promise that I will write it slowly. When it will be completed depends on God's will. Now, I no longer expect this book to bring me much profit.
I don’t say how hard it is for me. After all, among Internet writers, there are many who work part-time like me and are more tiring than me. Compared to many people, I am not qualified to say it is hard work.
