The Apocalypse Begins with a Nightmare

Chapter 1221: After finishing this book, I would like to express my gratitude!

An adventure, a journey!

More than a year ago, Lin Mo started from his starting point, step by step, in his own way to survive and explore in the nightmare world. He met many like-minded friends. He was happy, sad, and confused, but he never gave up. Although there were many next times, it was a good journey. Everyone must have experienced the same feeling as the protagonist Lin Mo, sometimes fearful, sometimes funny, but all good things must come to an end, and this wonderful journey has now come to an end.

Qiezi believes that although the serialized nightmare story has come to an end here, the nightmare story in the readers' hearts actually has various extensions and will continue, just as it was said in the last chapter, the adventure will continue.

This is also the fun of writing novels.

I caught a cold yesterday and had a slight headache, which didn't get better until around 3 a.m. I don't know if it was because I didn't recover well before. Let me interject here that everyone should take care of their health in the new year. Your health is your most important asset. Only with a good body can you have a good future. Otherwise, everything is just empty talk.

Let me continue to talk about the end of this speech.

I'm here to write my final words again. I counted on my fingers and found that I've written a lot in the past few years. I can be considered very productive. I've written a lot, so I've naturally had a lot of feelings. I've grown and matured on this road, but there's one thing that never changes every time I finish a book, which is the slight sense of loss and the longing for a new journey in the future.

Eggplant always believes that the only thing that can overcome despair is hope.

The reason why Lin Mo was able to escape from Elder Scrolls’ endless cycle of despair was due to his mental strength, but it may also be because Lin Mo was a person who was always full of hope and longing for the future.

Eggplant also hopes to become such a person, and hopes that readers of Nightmare will inherit Lin Mo's character.

Here are some small regrets about nightmares.

One is about a two-dimensional ghost. Eggplant originally designed some background stories for this weird monster and wanted to write in depth, but then he suddenly discovered something.

The setting of this dimension can easily lead to a collapse of combat power. Combat power is Eggplant's weak point. If it digs a big hole for itself and jumps in, it probably won't be able to climb out.

Therefore, the two-dimensional ghost is only set up to exist as a very special kind of nightmare weirdness.

There aren't many scenes, which is normal.

The other one is about Lin Mo's spiritual realm "Happy House". This eggplant is certainly a reference. With good ideas and themes, why can't they be carried forward

Of course, although the sources of this writing style are similar, the expressions are different. The reason why this writing style can resonate with people may be because everyone actually has a little bit of "illness" in their hearts, some because of loneliness, and some because of inexplicable fear and anxiety.

Friends who like figures must have a feeling that when they look at their favorite figures on the table, there will always be a moment when they think that they are alive, looking at you, or providing you with some kind of spiritual satisfaction, pleasure or support.

You may even dream about them occasionally.

Regarding the Happy House, it is the key to Lin Mo's improvement of his spiritual power. Eggplant's setting is that the Happy House has always existed, but Lin Mo discovered it, recognized this family, and was also recognized by this family.

There are more things that I didn’t write about, mainly because I feel that the farewell between the family members in the "Happy House" and Lin Mo in the mental hospital at that time might be the true ending that I recognize, the ending that belongs to them.

It only appears again later because of some plot requirements, or simply because people think it should have a perfect ending.

In addition to these, there are other small holes, some of which I forgot, and some of which I simply don’t want to fill, because some of them are not liked by everyone, such as the plot about the female researcher in the laboratory, which everyone criticized, so naturally I can’t jump into it again.

That’s basically all I have to say about my final thoughts. More is also explained in the text.

Talk about your plans for the new book.

Eggplant is planning something, and it should continue the style of Nightmare. Of course, the era, background, and plot will definitely be brand new. As for the specific situation, a person with high EQ would say that he will keep it a secret and leave a suspense; a person with low EQ would say that I haven't figured it out yet.

It should be quick. I'll take a two-day break and think about it. Then I'll write the beginning and send it for review. This is basically the process. Have a good New Year, and we'll see each other again after the New Year.

Waiting for you!
