Alfred, the new court strategic advisor to the King of Thessalonica and a close confidant of Bonifacio himself.

As a former Norman pirate who had studied at the Military Academy of the Holy Solomon Empire, Alfred possessed both the cunning sense of a Norman pirate and was also proficient in various Shinra-style tactics and strategies.

Therefore, when the intruding mage assassin had not been caught for a long time, Bonifacio handed over the guards directly to Alfred to lead, and he hurriedly left the stronghold and returned to Thessalonica under the escort of the guards.

"The enemy's strengths and weaknesses are very obvious." Inside the command building, Alfred stood in front of a sand platform on which a rough map of the town's terrain and building distribution had been drawn.

"The arcane power of fire, as well as the ability to control minds, desires, or dreams, makes this assassin almost impossible to deal with in a one-on-one situation."

"But she must lack the means to defend against large-scale attacks. Otherwise, she wouldn't have to hide around like this and hunt down our knights stationed everywhere. She could just come and kill us directly."

"In other words, as long as everyone avoids acting alone, the other party won't have any chance to attack."

"All teams participating in the search will use one power armored knight and two knight attendants as the smallest unit and conduct a clockwise search with this building as the center. I have already set all the routes, and you must strictly follow this information to arrange the patrol routes."

"Every minute, all teams must report their location and search progress. If any unexpected situation is found, report it immediately."

"Understood!" The knights saluted in unison.

Soon, the patrol routes of the knights in the stronghold changed, like a spread spider web, seemingly messy and disorderly, but full of murderous intent.

"A new commander? Everyone keep moving in groups?" Behind the wall, Medusa looked at the fully armed team of knights passing by vigilantly and read the intelligence from their subconscious.

"Then let me see what progress you have made." She stared at the three enemies and secretly manipulated their desires.

The knight squad was moving forward, and one of the followers suddenly felt a soreness in his neck, so he twisted his cervical vertebrae and turned his head.

The moment he met Medusa's gaze, his mind and body immediately collapsed. His limbs seemed to be out of control. He grabbed the fireproof asbestos cloth on the armor of the knight next to him and quickly pulled it off.

This action came so unexpectedly that the knight and another squire had not yet reacted. The next thing, a huge flame engulfed the power armor.

The knight's body was burned to charcoal in an instant in the rapidly heated steel armor. The remaining two followers fought each other and were easily ignited by the flames thrown by Medusa.

"That's all." Medusa sneered as she watched the two followers struggling in the flames.

"What, I'm exposed?" She suddenly said to herself in confusion, "Medea, my fire control is very precise, they have not been able to send out any signals from the beginning to the end..."
