No one has ever reached the top of the Olin Tree.
The highest point that the citizens in the city can reach is the large arena at the top of the tree trunk. Above that are branches that extend in all directions, all of which are restricted areas for military garrisons.
Because the branches have an extremely irregular direction, there is no "subway elevator" that is unique to Olin City. Instead, distinctive steps are built along the branches.
The three of them climbed up the steps along the thickest branch and finally came to a rooftop.
This should be the top of the Olin tree, because the branches and leaves in all directions are under our feet. Our current altitude is close to 5,000 meters, which is the "oxygen-deficient zone" with thin air.
Ask and Paige were fine, but Sheila, who lacked physical strength, was already a little out of breath and had a slight altitude sickness.
There was a man standing on the rooftop, who looked to be in his forties or fifties. He stood on the edge of the rooftop without railings with his hands behind his back, silently overlooking the distant skyline.
Since the other party didn't speak, Ask didn't say hello, but just helped Sheila sit down and rest with Peggy.
"You are more patient than I expected, Lord Ask." After about twenty minutes, the other party finally turned around and said.
Apilius, the lord of Olympia.
"Sir Apilius." Ask silently complained that the name was difficult to pronounce, and then smiled and said, "I thought you were thinking."
"The relationship with the West has indeed taken up a lot of my energy." Apirius said calmly, "That's why I waited until today to come and see you, everyone from the Azure Sword."
"Thank you for your contribution to Olympia and the Empire in the battle against the Crusaders. I have authorized Quintus to give you access to Arcane Sequence II. Some of them are finished potions, but more are recipes. You can freely redeem them with your military merits."
"Thank you," Ask said.
"You're welcome." Apirius waved his hand and turned around again.
Ask was of course not stupid enough to just leave. As the lord of a city, how could the other party call him to such a place just to tell him about the small matter of exchanging military merits
Seeing that Apirius still didn't speak, Ask understood what he meant.
This requires negotiation.
"I have one more thing. I want to make a deal with the city lord." Ask said.
Apirius tilted his head slightly and glanced at him calmly.
"The Immortal Phantom Sword." Ask said loudly, "We will exchange it with the Immortal Phantom Sword."
Peggy next to him was shocked. She didn't expect Ask to suddenly reveal the secret on the spot, and the other party was the lord of Olympia City.
However, out of trust in Ask, she did not interrupt, but stared intently at the expression on the face of the city lord opposite her.
Apirius showed no expression, as if all this was not beyond his expectations.
"What do you want?" he asked in a cold tone.
"Help her master the Immortal Sword." Ask put his hand on Peggy's shoulder, signaling her to stay calm. "Also, the original text of the "Song of Roland" which records Charlemagne's Holy Sword."
