Chapter 414: seek death

late at night.

Peggy stayed in the room next to the alchemy workshop, opened the locked drawer, and took out her diary.

It records all her thoughts, starting from the first extraordinary gathering, the confusion about the future and life, the fear after becoming a vampire, the conversations and impressions of the new companions, and...

Feelings for Ask.

From the initial vigilance and exploitation, to the gradual development of tacit understanding, then trust and dependence, and finally to a close yet distant intimacy, until she could confirm her own inner feelings.

A whole year, just enough to fill up an entire diary.

There were many things that she didn't have the courage to say to the leader, so she could only write them down secretly in her diary. When she looked through it in the following days, the vampire girl would still feel shy and blush, but she would also have more sweet fantasies and thoughts.

On the last page of her diary, she wrote:

I hope to have a pair of children in the future.

I will teach the boy swordsmanship, not so that he may become a mercenary, but so that he may have a strong physique and the power to save others.

I will teach the girl simple pharmacy and knowledge of preparing toxins, so that she can live a self-sufficient and wealthy life in the future.

As for the name, you can name it according to Armenian customs or according to the culture of Sirius.

If it's the latter, hopefully their last name is Achilles.

Peggy stared at the last line of text, feeling uneasy in her heart. She was not sure whether Ask could understand the meaning of this confession, but she was more afraid that he would reject it outright.

But judging from the last time we tried our first kiss, that shouldn’t happen...right

Peggy closed the diary, then clenched her fist and waved it, as if to cheer herself up.

She had already decided to give him her diary.

And revealed all my feelings in front of him.

Come on, Peggy! Opportunities only belong to girls with courage!

After saying a final word to the mirror on the wall, Peggy pushed the door open and left the alchemy workshop, heading towards the manor.

From a distance, she saw Ask just leaving the main gate of the manor.

Peggy subconsciously wanted to call him, but was afraid that the girls inside would hear her. After a moment of hesitation, Ask disappeared.

It seems to have been teleported back to the main plane.

So Peggy was teleported back to the main plane and returned to the town where the imperial army was stationed.

The person in charge of guarding the ancient book today was Sidlifa. Peggy flashed into the bedroom and saw Sidlifa lying on the bed, seemingly in some sweet dream.

On the other side, the door of the room was open, and Ask had probably just gone out.

Paige hesitated for a moment, then turned and walked outside. Suddenly, she heard Sidlifa's voice behind her:

"Is this really okay?"

Peggy turned around suddenly and saw that Sidlifa had sat up from the bed, with her long, almost milky-white light-blonde hair draped over her shoulders, and her transparent pupils reflected Peggy's petite figure.

"Since the leader chose to go out late at night, there must be something he doesn't want us to know." Her tone was indifferent and ethereal, making Peggy feel uncomfortable. "Are you sure you want to follow him?"
