"A glass of vodka," said Sidlifa.

Leki is a small village in the Rhodope Valley with a population of about two hundred people.

The most lively place in the village is the tavern built by the river, which the locals call "Dad's Tavern". Basically in the evening, whether they are farmers or hunters, the villagers like to come here for a drink.

There were many strangers today, who looked like mercenaries. The villagers sat in groups of three or four around the round table, glancing at the seven or eight outsiders sitting at the bar and talking quietly.

Except for the leader who is a man, everyone else is a beauty.

Well, they must be nobles from somewhere. Some nobles really like to be surrounded by beauties. As for why they are all dressed as mercenaries, it can only be said that it is a special hobby of the nobles.

"Your Balkan vodka." The owner of the tavern, nicknamed "Dad", poured a glass of vodka for Sidlifa and pushed it over.

"That's great!" Sidlifa drank it in one gulp, her face immediately flushed up to her neck, and she burped in admiration, "Another one."

"Girl, you have a good alcohol tolerance." Dad said with a smile and poured her another glass.

"I'll have gin," said Eleanor.

"Then I'll order a glass of fruit brandy." Nora said, looking at the menu.

"Bloody Mary." Medea snapped her fingers.

"I want a Flying Dutchman cocktail," Mia shouted, raising her hands.

"Children can't drink alcohol!" Nora pressed her hand down and asked her father, "Is there any juice?"

"There's raspberry liqueur, non-alcoholic." Dad laughed.

"Damn, why can you all drink but I have to drink juice?" Mia started to show her dissatisfaction, but Nora slapped her on the back of her neck and quickly subdued her like petting a cat.

Under Nora's clutches, Mia could only purr unwillingly.

"Give me a draft beer," Ask said finally. "What does Peggy want?"

"Soda water with ice will be fine, thanks," said Paige.

Soon Dad mixed all the wine and brought the glasses to everyone.

"I didn't expect there would be a bartender in a small village like this." Medea said with a smile, holding her chin with one hand.

"Ah, what bartender? I'm just a bartender." Dad said, "When I was young, I worked in Constantinople and learned some bartending skills. Have you been to Constantinople?"

"I've been there," Ask said. "I heard that the Seljuks are almost reaching Nicaea. Constantinople is probably in danger now."

"The Seljuks are a barbaric and backward country." The old man shook his head. "I heard that each family must have four children. How can they have so many children? My wife gave birth to two, and I am exhausted just taking care of them. If there are two more, I can't even think about it."

"I'm afraid if the attack really comes, we won't be able to control ourselves," said Ask.

"No, Constantinople can't be in trouble. It has three layers of huge walls." Dad smiled and said, "Besides, the two majesties are here. God will bless Constantinople."
