"The Count Vampire Professor at Hogwarts" will be officially on the shelves at 12:10 noon on October 17. Thank you for supporting genuine reading, thank you!
The following are the testimonials:
Contents: 1. Update Notes; 2. Subscription; 3. Book Group; 4. Comments; 5. Some Gossip; 6. Thanks.
———
First of all, the update issue that everyone is most concerned about:
Ten thousand words will be updated on the day of release, divided into five chapters, each chapter is 2,000 words. I hope everyone will subscribe!
After the second day of being put on the shelves, in order to maintain a stable subscription, there will not be too many chapters, and new chapters will be released at about 3,000-5,000 words per chapter.
I’m a part-time writer, so I don’t have much time to update, but I’ll try to write as much as possible!
Regarding rewards and extra chapters, I agree with most other authors. I will give one extra chapter for every 10,000 coins reward. I currently owe one extra chapter to Master Silence. Of course, I still want to say that everyone should not spend impulsively and spend within their means!
Then there is the additional update on the data of the listing: the performance of this book is not very good, with less than a thousand readers, and according to calculations, the first order is estimated to be only 500-800.
So here we have a minimum number, with 500 orders as a small goal, and one additional chapter will be added for every 100 orders exceeded. If we can reach 1,000 orders, we can directly increase the number of orders by 10,000 per day for ten days, and the additional chapters will not be consumed in these ten days!
If we can reach 2,000 first orders, we can make 10,000 per day per month! (Of course, this number of first orders is impossible, I’m just bragging…)
②Questions about subscription
First of all, everyone must give me a first order. Ordinary members will get 10 coins, and high-level members will get 6 coins. The money you can earn by watching two ads can give me great encouragement!
In addition, I still hope that everyone can support the genuine version. My outline is very complete, the book will not be cut or have an unfinished ending. If you want to support the book, you can turn on automatic subscription (funny.jpg).
Finally, I personally hope that everyone can subscribe using the Android app or web version, because QQ Reading and iOS systems will reduce my subscription income by half. Of course, it depends on everyone's habits. I won't force it. I'm satisfied if you can subscribe!
Three Book Groups
There is a link to the book group at the bottom of the introduction. It is the group brought by the previous book. The group is quite cold, so please bring more clothes (bushi) when joining the group.
(ps: Since QQ readers cannot see the group number, I put it here directly: 421469256)
4. About Comments
First of all, I would like to say that there has been a meeting going on in the past few days, and the comments may not be displayed temporarily, but they can be seen in my background, and everyone can comment at any time if they want.
Actually, I really like reading comments. I basically read every comment from readers (it may also be because there are not many comments). I feel happy when I see praising comments, and when I see critical comments, I will reflect on whether I can make some small changes to improve readability.
What I want to say here is that if you come across something well written, please feel free to praise me, I love reading it! In addition, in most cases, there are more people who like to criticize than those who like to praise others, so if you praise me more, maybe you can attract more new readers? (乐.jpg)
Also, I will definitely reply to and correct the comments of Zhuo Chong as soon as I see them. I would like to thank the book friends of Zhuo Chong for their contribution to this book. Thank you!
5. Some gossip
There may not be many readers who can see this far, but I still want to say a few more words. After all, there are not many opportunities to write a long paragraph openly like the thanks for the book being put on the shelves.
In fact, I first started planning a new book three months ago, and this book was not my idea at that time.
Old readers who have read my previous book, which was not very well written, should know that my previous book was an HP story of the era of magical beasts. Since it was my first time writing a book, and as a complete newbie, I had no grasp of the rhythm, the exciting and toxic points, and I was not clear about the various hidden rules of online writing. I just stepped on various pitfalls and walked recklessly all the way.
If you click in and take a look, you will find that the comments section of the previous book is basically full of people scolding me. Well, I admit it, there are indeed big problems with my writing.
I wanted to learn from this book and practice writing a story about the wizarding world in the 21st century. I wanted to write about the wizarding world's yesterday, today, and tomorrow. I had already written about yesterday (the story of magical creatures), and I didn't have much confidence that I could stand out from the crowd of articles about today, so I wanted to write about the wizarding world's tomorrow.
Then the outline I submitted was sent back by my editor, who said that readers would not feel involved.
I didn't believe it and submitted two more papers, but they both failed. Then I finally realized that it was my own problem and decided to change the outline.
At that time, I happened to be chatting with another HP fan fiction author, and he mentioned that there are still many contents in the magic world that have not been fully developed by authors, such as ghosts, elves, vampires...
Thus, this book was born!
The story is about a vampire who has lived for more than a thousand years and starts off by going to the principal to collect rent!
It took me more than a month to finish writing the outline. I submitted the manuscript to my old editor on August 31st, and then opened a pre-collection for a new book, preparing to publish it directly if it fails this time.
But I didn’t expect that the editor happened to move during those days and didn’t review the manuscript for seven days… In order not to disappoint the book friends who had invested in me, I posted the first two chapters on September 7, and then went to QQ to urge my editor-in-charge.
Fortunately, he saw the news on September 8, approved the idea, and directly proposed signing. So I signed the contract on September 9.
After signing the contract, the first round of recommendations came in a few days. At that time, I had less than 40,000 words, but there were already more than 100 people following me. I thought it was going to take off! Really, at that time I really thought this book was a talent... Then the second round of recommendations stopped...
I worked hard to get two chapters pushed, and only then did I get the second round in the second week.
Actually, it’s less than 100,000 words after the recommendation. I really think there’s still a chance, but the subsequent increase in follow-up reading has been in a tepid state, the kind that can be promoted, but just barely...
By the fourth round of recommendations, I was barely promoted again, with only a thousand readers left to Sanjiang, so the editor let me put it on the shelves. Well, my dream of Sanjiang was shattered.
It’s sad, indeed, but at least this is the first time that a book is highly recommended by the editor. As a new author who hasn’t written a million words yet, I’m quite content!
Let me talk about the performance of this book so far - 160,000 words before it was put on the shelves, over 10,000 collections, around 900 follow-up readers, and it has gone through four rounds of recommendations. Now it has just entered the fourth round of recommendations and is on the shelves.
The overall data is much better than the previous book, and the most important thing is that there are many praises in the comments, which deeply touched me.
I really appreciate everyone’s love for me. I wish all book friends peace, happiness and all the best!
6. Acknowledgements
First of all, thanks to my editor, Penglai from Group 9!
The first book I bought was the one he picked up from the trash. He asked me to sign a contract and join the signing group. Later, I joined the group for putting books on the shelves, and I learned a lot of knowledge from many senior members of Group 9.
Naipong is a really nice person. He always answers my questions. When I think about how my last book turned out to be a failure, he was still willing to help me change the chapter titles. That’s so nice!
So the first person that came to my mind for this book was Nai Peng, and it was he who mentioned it to me when he saw it. Thank you!
Then, thanks to my good friend, the inspiration for this book is another HP fan fiction author mentioned above, Jianbing! He is the author of "Harry Potter and the Harry Potter Story".
It was he who came up with the idea of vampires, and it can be said that he made a fundamental contribution to this book!
If you are interested, you can go and read his books, but this guy has been lagging behind recently and has not been updating very frequently. I am afraid that he will be criticized by readers for not doing his job properly, so I didn’t even dare to ask him for chapter recommendations…
The following are the comrades who recommended my chapter—
"The Days of Drawing Cards at Hogwarts" by Hades
The boss of the HP fan work in the same group directly hopes that the emperor will get better soon!
"I was expelled from Hogwarts?"
Ah, it’s another HP masterpiece that the boss recommended to me, but I can’t even get up like this, I’m a loser... By the way, when will Yaya pay back the extra chapters that she owes me!
"Beast Patrol" was forced to write a book due to a lack of books
This is a senior from the same group who has won many awards with his hard work. He has been a regular on the battle power list for a long time. If you are interested in beast control articles, you can go and have a look. (My comments on the listing refer to his method)
"I'm broke, I'm writing Harry Potter in Hogwarts" by Xiao Wen
Good friends in the same group, very creative HP fanfiction, mutual promotion~
(In fact, I also asked the author of "The Days of Being a Spiritual Mentor in American Comics" Sheng to recommend my chapter, but I was not motivated. Before she could recommend my chapter, Sanjiang failed and was directly put on the shelves... Well, I will ask for another wave after it has been on the shelves for a while. Thanks in advance!)
Finally, thank you to everyone who likes and supports this book. This book is the result of the contributions of each of you. I hope that the future of this book will be achieved through our concerted efforts and common progress. I hope that the following story will shine because of your participation!
thank you all!!
