The Blood Professor at Hogwarts

Chapter 51: Big Mouth Hagrid

With the full support of Lucius Malfoy and the approval of Dracula, the Hogwarts School Board has completely changed.

The school board has temporarily changed from a twelve-member system to a seven-member system, and the remaining five positions will be filled at any time.

As the holder of the title deed to Hogwarts, Dracula serves as the chairman of the newly established board of directors, has a veto power over board resolutions and supreme guidance, and has the right to appoint and remove board members.

There are no more complicated power struggles on the board of directors.

In addition to Yaxley and the other four board members from pure-blood families, Lucius, as a top fence-sitter, immediately joined Dracula's team. The wealthy Malfoy family contracted half of the funds for Hogwarts' operation, perfectly filling the funding gap after the expulsion of the five directors.

The other six members of the school board who did not intend to attack Dracula were all serious people. They were all noble wizards who were truly dedicated to the development of Hogwarts.

Among them are well-known figures in the education field, such as Griselda Marchbank of the Wizarding Examinations Authority and Armando Dippet, the former headmaster of Hogwarts.

Dracula naturally had no intention of targeting these old antiques in the magic world. He waved his hand casually, approved the final result, and then jumped out of the window of the school board meeting room...

Ms. Marchbank, who was nearly 200 years old, looked at Dracula who jumped out of the window in amazement. She looked at Dumbledore and sighed:

"Albus, the Defense Against the Dark Arts professor that Hogwarts hired this time is truly an incredible figure!"

"Who says it's not?"

Dumbledore shrugged helplessly, and sighed in his heart that it might be difficult to change Professor Dracula's unconventional habit...

Under the expectant eyes of the little wizards who stayed in school, time unknowingly came to the night before Christmas.

The Hogwarts Great Hall was decorated beautifully and magnificently by the professors.

The walls were hung with festoons of holly and mistletoe, and all around stood a dozen towering Christmas trees, some with tiny icicles hanging from them, others with hundreds of flickering candles.

"Hey, Hagrid, can you help me hang this package of gifts on the Christmas tree?" The short Professor Flitwick stood on tiptoe and reached out to pat Hagrid's big belly.

The big Hagrid bent down considerately and took the packages of surprise gifts for the little wizards who stayed on campus from Professor Flitwick, and hung them on the top layer of the Christmas tree easily.

"Oh, thank you so much, Hagrid!" Professor Flitwick looked up and said to Hagrid happily.

"Hagrid, good evening!" Two little wizards wearing red scarves trotted into the auditorium and saw the extremely conspicuous Hagrid at first sight.

Then, one of the little wizards wearing round-frame glasses carefully noticed that there was another short wizard next to Hagrid's knees, who was using his wand to spray out strings of golden bubbles and hanging them on the branches of the Christmas tree next to him.

"Oh, Professor Flitwick, you are here too!" he said quickly to the short wizard.

"Good evening, Harry and Ron!" Professor Flitwick did not seem annoyed at being ignored. Instead, he greeted the two little wizards enthusiastically.

Hagrid also stopped what he was doing and waved his palm as big as a palm fan towards Harry and Ron.

"Professor, are you decorating the auditorium?" Ron looked at the strings of golden bubbles coming out of the tip of Professor Flitwick's wand with envy, thinking it was so cool.

"That's right. After all, tomorrow is Christmas, and we need to decorate the hall." Professor Flitwick said. "Hogwarts must ensure that the little wizards who can't go home can also have the same warmth and happiness as at home!"

Harry blew his nose with emotion, and felt more recognized of the Hogwarts family.

"Ron, shall we continue to go to the library later?" He threw the used tissue into the trash can, turned around and pulled Ron towards the door of the auditorium.

"Come on, Harry, we can't find out anything without Hermione here!" Ron's face wrinkled and he said to Harry depressedly.

"Library?" said Hagrid, as he followed them out of the Great Hall, preparing to bring in some more Christmas decorations. "Tomorrow is Christmas, and you're still studying? That's a bit too much for you, isn't it?"

"Oh, we're not reviewing," Harry told him cheerfully. "We've been trying to find out who Nicolas Flamel is, ever since you mentioned him."

"What?" Hagrid looked horrified. "Listen to me, I told you... Stop it! What the big dog is guarding has nothing to do with you!"

In fact, ever since Harry was ambushed in his first Quidditch game, Harry, Ron and Hermione began to wonder who was against him.

The first person Hermione suspected was Snape, who was casting a spell at Harry, but she never expected that Snape was actually casting the counter-spell of that evil curse. The magic fire he used on Snape interrupted the counter-spell and almost caused serious harm to Harry.

Even though Snape did not cast a spell on Harry and was even trying to help him, the unpleasant professor's targeting of Gryffindor left a deep impression on Harry.

Therefore, Snape's act of saving people that time only slightly improved Harry's impression of him, but could not reverse his long-standing negative image.

What's more, after the Halloween dinner, Harry accidentally saw the bite wound on Snape's leg - it must have been caused by the three-headed dog in the restricted area on the fourth floor.

So after the Quidditch game more than a month ago, Harry and the other two, who were completely confused, went to Hagrid's hut, hoping someone could help them analyze the situation.

Hagrid didn't know how Harry and the other two knew about the three-headed dog, and he didn't want them to know the top secret set by Dumbledore, so he warned them seriously:

"Listen! All three of you listen to me - you are meddling in matters that are none of your business. This is dangerous. Forget the big dog, forget what it's guarding, this is between Professor Dumbledore and Nicolas Flamel..."

"Aha!" said Harry, his eyes lighting up. "So there's a man called Nicolas Flamel involved, isn't there?"

"… "

This led to the conversation between Harry and Hagrid about Nicolas Flamel on Christmas Eve.
