The Blood Professor at Hogwarts

Chapter 74: Ghost Myrtle

Views:

Just as Dracula and Dumbledore smiled knowingly and prepared to check Quirrell's crime scene together, a ghost suddenly emerged from the bathroom cubicle.

This is a short, fat schoolgirl-like ghost, wearing thick glasses, with acne on her face, and a somewhat unhappy expression on her face.

"This is the girls' bathroom. What bad things are you two professors doing here?" She looked at the two professors in front of her with suspicion and said, "No, even if no one is using it, the girls' bathroom is not a place where male professors can just come in. I must tell everyone about what happened between you two!"

Dracula and Dumbledore's faces froze. They never expected that even though they avoided everyone else's sight, they couldn't avoid the ghost that lived in this bathroom.

"Myrtle, the two of us are here to check out what's wrong here," Dumbledore said gently, obviously knowing the ghost.

Myrtle seemed a little unconvinced and retorted, "I've been here the whole time, and I can guarantee that there's nothing wrong with this bathroom. You must be making excuses for your behavior!"

As she spoke, Myrtle wanted to go through the bathroom roof and spread the news that the principal and the professor were in the girls' bathroom.

"How could there be nothing wrong? Weren't you here when Quirrell sneaked in here this morning?" Dracula called her from behind and asked.

"If I say there is no, then there is no. If you don't believe it..." Myrtle turned her head dissatisfied and looked at Dracula.

Then she froze in place.

"Are you... the new professor?" Myrtle's eyes seemed to light up, and her voice became hoarse, completely different from before. "Wow, I have never seen such a handsome professor. Can I go to your classroom to attend the class?"

The corners of Dracula's mouth twitched.

"That's right, Myrtle. This is our new Defense Against the Dark Arts professor." Dumbledore took over the conversation with a smile, and at the same time, he winked at Dracula, "If you want to attend the class, you can go to the Defense Against the Dark Arts classroom on the second floor. It's not far from here."

"Professor of Defense Against the Dark Arts?" Hearing Dracula's position, Myrtle's eyes were suddenly filled with joy. "Then you will definitely have problems this year, right? If you die, you must come here to find me. I am happy to share this flush toilet with you."

Myrtle blushed, her eyes rolled around, and she was completely immersed in the imagination of a beautiful future.

Dracula turned his gaze to Dumbledore with a very unfriendly expression on his face.

"Dumbledore, don't tell me that as a headmaster you don't know there is a mentally ill ghost here?" he asked.

"This is a girls' bathroom after all, so I don't normally come in here," Dumbledore said. "I remember that Myrtle died decades ago, but I never expected that she would still be here."

"Is this where she died?" Dracula frowned, feeling that there must be some secret hidden here. "How did she die? Was it because of this bathroom itself?"

"This is related to an event that happened fifty years ago." Dumbledore sighed and said softly, "There were a series of attacks on Hogwarts back then, and Myrtle was the only wizard who died in the attacks. But I still don't know the truth behind the attacks."

So Dracula turned his attention to the ghost named Myrtle.

"Madam, could you tell me what happened here fifty years ago?" There was a gleam in his eyes and he revealed a charming smile.

However, Dracula's questioning method, which had always worked, was ineffective today.

After seeing Dracula's smile, Myrtle not only did not answer his question, but started a new round of madness -

"Professor... oooooo my professor..."

"… "

"… So she is not mentally normal, right?" Dracula's smile froze on his face, and he turned to look at Dumbledore who was watching the show nearby, "Do you have any way to make her normal again?"

"It is obvious, Professor Dracula, that Myrtle's mental state has become like this because of you." Dumbledore shrugged and smiled with a gloating look, "So, it is you who should restore her to normal."

Dracula took another look at Myrtle, who was still going crazy, and fell into deep thought.

"You stay here and keep an eye on this ghost. Don't let her go out and say anything. I'll go get some help." After a moment, he suddenly said to Dumbledore.

Without waiting for Dumbledore to respond, Dracula disappeared in the shadow of a bat.

Dumbledore was stunned for a moment when he saw this, then spread his hands, took out a bag of sizzling honey candies from his pocket, and began to eat them with relish in the bathroom.

Not long after, Dracula once again returned to the gloomy and depressing girls' bathroom.

At this time, Myrtle was floating in the air, crying and wailing, while Dumbledore comforted her while chewing some honey candy.

"Do you think I don't know what people call me behind my back? Fat Myrtle! Ugly Myrtle! Poor, crying, depressed Myrtle!" She cried, "Now that handsome professor also despises me. I won't live anymore!"

Myrtle is frustrated and thinks that Dracula left because he disliked her, although in fact he did... and now she wants to drown herself in the toilet.

"Don't be sad, Myrtle." Dumbledore comforted her, "Professor Dracula definitely didn't leave because he disliked you. Look, isn't he back?"

He pointed out Dracula, who had just returned, to Myrtle.

Seeing Dracula coming back, Myrtle seemed to be in a better mood and crawled out of the toilet.

"Yes, there is no need to treat yourself like this, Myrtle." Dracula also nodded, "Don't forget that you are already a dead man. You won't drown yourself by doing this."

Hearing his words, Myrtle suddenly felt even more upset and stuffed herself into the toilet again.

"Professor Dracula, I thought you would say something comforting." Dumbledore looked at Dracula helplessly.

"What's the point of comforting others? I never do such meaningless things." Dracula said calmly, "Look, isn't it interesting to see a ghost floundering in the toilet? Don't worry, she can't drown anyway!"

Dumbledore was helpless. It turned out that for Dracula, meaningless things were meaningless...

"Forget it, let's not talk about this." Dumbledore changed the subject, "Where are the foreign aids you found?"

"It's right over there." Dracula pointed to the back wall of the bathroom with his chin.

A slender ghost with waist-length hair slowly passed through the wall and floated towards the two of them.
