The Blood Professor at Hogwarts

Chapter 76: Dismiss the school board

"Lucius, perhaps you would like to hear what the person involved thinks?" Dumbledore glanced at the window and said absentmindedly.

Lucius frowned at Dumbledore's performance.

"Principal Dumbledore, you don't seem to care much about the stay or departure of the Defense Against the Dark Arts professor?" he asked puzzledly.

Lucius still remembered that before deciding to convene the school board meeting, he wrote a letter to Dumbledore, hoping that he could personally expel Dracula. However, Dumbledore's reply politely rejected his "suggestion", which led to the scene of the school board meeting today.

"He really doesn't care, and there's no need for him to care about this matter." Just then, a mellow and clear voice came from the window.

Lucius was startled and looked suddenly towards the window of the conference room.

A man with silver hair and burgundy eyes was leaning against the window, holding a bright red lollipop in his mouth, and looking at the school directors at the round table with interest.

"Who are you and how dare you eavesdrop on the school board meeting?!" One of the elderly school directors angrily knocked on the table and asked Dracula.

"Eavesdropping? That's not right. I was here before your meeting started. Didn't you tell me that yourself?" Dracula smiled playfully, "Or is the school directors' eyesight so bad? If Hogwarts is handed over to you to manage, the four Slytherins won't be at ease, right?"

The old school director who raised the question was so angry that his teeth itched. He said angrily: "Young man, tell me your name, and I will expel you from Hogwarts!"

Hearing the word "young man", Dracula raised his eyebrows and his expression became extremely strange.

"You are quite good at talking, old man. I am optimistic about you," he said happily.

The elderly school director didn't understand Dracula's strange words and wanted to continue his outburst, but Draco, who was standing behind Lucius, interrupted him.

"Sir, this is our Defense Against the Dark Arts professor, Professor Dracula." Draco whispered to the old director.

"So you are the current Defense Against the Dark Arts professor!" The old school director was stunned for a moment, then slammed the table heavily and said loudly, "I don't think a guy like this who doesn't respect the elderly can teach students well. I vote to expel him!"

He took the first step by taking out the school board badge from his arms and raised it above his head.

Lucius smiled to himself when he saw this, and also took out a badge and raised it above his head.

Then, after a brief hesitation, four more directors raised their respective badges and cast their votes in favor.

The passage or failure of a board resolution is determined by voting.

Each director has a director badge, which is connected to the magic nodes of Hogwarts Castle. Whenever a vote is successful, a contract is reached between the badges. If more than half of the directors, that is, seven or more directors, vote in favor, the resolution will be passed.

This resolution does not apply to the appointment or removal of the principal.

The headmaster of Hogwarts has always been a famous and powerful wizard, and the appointment and removal of the headmaster will even have a great impact on the entire British wizarding world. Therefore, the appointment and removal of the headmaster requires the unanimous vote of the board of directors.

But this vote on whether to expel Dracula is obviously not included in the list. Now six directors have voted in favor, and as long as one of the other six directors votes in favor, Dracula will be expelled from Hogwarts.

It can be said that Dracula's position as professor of Defense Against the Dark Arts has become extremely precarious.

However, Dracula did not feel any sense of crisis. He watched the voting process of the school board, and his originally excited expression gradually became dull.

"Why does something as simple as voting have to be so complicated? Not to mention it's boring." He curled his lips, "Why don't you just not vote? It's too troublesome. Just fire me directly."

Hearing Dracula's words, Lucius looked over subconsciously and opened his eyes wide in disbelief.

"You mean, you agree that we expel you?" he asked incredulously, not even noticing that the school badge in his hand poked Draco in the face.

Dracula took the bloody lollipop out of his mouth, tilted his head to look at Lucius, and then sneered.

"I think you may have misunderstood, Mr. Malfoy." Dracula said, "What I mean is - I will just expel the entire board of directors!"

“?!”

The members of the school board looked at Dracula in confusion, and felt extremely ridiculous. They didn't understand why Professor Dracula would say such ridiculous words...

"You? Expel the school board? Hahahaha..." The old school board member couldn't help but burst into laughter. "Young people nowadays just don't know their place. They always think they are the boss of everyone, and end up making all kinds of jokes!"

With someone taking the lead, the other members of the board of directors couldn't help laughing as they looked at Dracula.

Dumbledore sat at the head of the round table, watching the performance of Dracula and the school directors with great interest, and occasionally showed a look of pity to the members of the school board. Of course, no member of the school board thought that Dumbledore was pitying them, they just thought he wanted to plead for Dracula.

Amid the laughter of the school directors, Dracula took out an old parchment from his pocket - the deed to Hogwarts.

He injected his own vampire magic into the deed, and the mysterious and obscure symbols on the deed immediately began to flow, and every magical node of Hogwarts appeared on paper.

Dracula compared the badge with the school director badge that Lucius held above his head, and quickly found the node connected to the magic node of Hogwarts.

The slap in the face always comes too quickly. The people on the school board haven’t finished laughing yet, and they can’t laugh anymore…

They were just about to use the school badges in their hands to form a contract to expel Dracula from Hogwarts, but then they discovered that all the school badges had lost their magic power and all their functions.

"The school badge seems to be broken." Lucius patted his badge heavily and found that it was indeed out of function, so he asked Dumbledore, "Headmaster Dumbledore, can you repair the school badges? They seem to have suddenly stopped working."

Dumbledore looked at him cheerfully without replying, then turned back to look at Dracula who was watching the show, and his expression became very expectant.

The next moment, Dracula's voice suddenly rang out.

"The magical connection between the Hogwarts Board of Governors badge and the castle has been cancelled. Congratulations, you are expelled!"
