"Hagrid, why don't you tell us about Nicolas Flamel and Dumbledore so we don't have to go through so much trouble."
At the entrance of the Great Hall, Harry began to ask Hagrid questions, wanting to find out directly from him who Nicolas Flamel was and what Dumbledore had hidden for him.
After all, with Hermione back home for Christmas, Harry was quite aware of the ability of himself and Ron, two poor students, to look up information.
"We've flipped through at least a hundred books, but haven't found any trace of him. Just give us a little clue, and I'll know where I've seen his name!" said Harry.
"I won't say anything." Hagrid covered his mouth and said dryly, "I promised Dumbledore that I would keep my mouth shut."
Just then, a silver-haired figure shaking a red wine glass happened to pass by. He walked to the entrance courtyard corridor where the few people were and looked at them curiously.
When they saw the person coming, Harry, Ron and Hagrid were all startled.
"Good evening, Professor Dracula!" they said in unison.
"Good evening, Hagrid, and here comes Potter and Weiss." Dracula took a sip of the bright red wine, nodded slightly to the people present, and then asked with interest, "I seem to hear you discussing Nicolas Flamel?"
"Professor Dracula, do you know Nicolas Flamel?" Harry's eyes lit up and he quickly asked Dracula, "Hagrid said he would keep it a secret and would never tell us anything about Nicolas Flamel. But we have clearly seen this name before, we just can't remember it!"
"Hagrid, Dumbledore really believes that you will keep your mouth shut." Dracula looked at Hagrid with a smile and comforted him.
Hagrid still covered his mouth and murmured in gratitude, "Professor Dracula, I'm so happy you can say that."
"Yes, the bottle is opened not because of the bottle, but because of the bottle opener. You don't have to be too sad even if you let something slip."
As he spoke, Dracula drank the bright red wine in the glass, then suspended the goblet in the air and took out a bottle of elegant red wine from his pocket. With a light twist of his index finger, the cork at the mouth of the bottle popped out with a "pop" sound.
Dracula poured himself another glass of bright red wine, then looked up at Hagrid.
At this moment, Hagrid looked at Dracula who had once again stuffed the cork back into the mouth of the wine bottle, and thought of what he had just mentioned about keeping his mouth shut and the bottle opener, and he couldn't help but cry sadly.
"Professor, isn't it inappropriate to provoke Hagrid in this way..." Harry quietly approached Dracula and whispered to him.
Ron looked at Hagrid covering his face with a dirty handkerchief, and couldn't help but take a step back, putting some distance between himself and the terrible Professor Dracula.
"Don't worry, Hagrid will be strong." Ignoring Ron's little action, Dracula said to Harry, "By the way, what do you want to do with Nicolas Flamel?"
"I...we..." Harry didn't know how to start for a moment.
They knew about the three-headed dog and the restricted area on the fourth floor, all of which they had learned by violating school rules. How could Harry tell a professor about these things
However, Dracula didn't seem to care about the reason at all. Without waiting for Harry to explain, he asked with interest:
"It seems that you have already been to the restricted area in the corridor on the fourth floor. How was it? Can you pass the test of Hagrid's cute little thing in the first level?"
"What? Hagrid's little cutie?!" Harry looked at Dracula in shock, then turned his gaze to Hagrid, feeling that his cognition had been greatly shocked.
Ron, who had just distanced himself from Harry, couldn't help but scream in surprise, and sneaked back to Harry, looking at Hagrid with an inquiring look.
"So Hermione was right, and that scary big dog really is guarding something under that trapdoor?" Ron asked. "The thing Nico Lemato Dumbledore helped guard?"
"What do you mean by a scary big dog? That's Fluffy! He's a very well behaved boy and won't bite anyone." Hagrid was unhappy when he heard Ron's description.
Harry and Ron stood side by side, looking at him suspiciously.
"Hey, what are you looking at? I'm telling the truth!" Hagrid said loudly, "And Nicolas Flamel's stuff has nothing to do with you. Don't look for it anymore. Why can't you use all your vigorous energy on studying?"
Dracula was sipping red wine while watching the interesting performance of Harry and the other two, and felt like he was watching a good show.
"Professor Dracula, these little guys are too curious." Unable to bear the entanglement of the two little wizards Harry and Ron, Hagrid looked at Dracula for help, "I don't understand why you told them about Fluffy? I'm really afraid that I will let something slip..."
"It's okay, Hagrid." Dracula chuckled and raised his glass to Hagrid. "It doesn't matter if you really let something slip. Everything is still within Dumbledore's plan!"
"But I'm not sure I won't delay Dumbledore's plans..." Hagrid muttered.
Looking at Harry and Ron's expectant gazes, Dracula thought for a moment, placed the goblet in the air again, and then took out a bronze mirror engraved with a phoenix relief from his pocket.
"You two, if you want to know who Nicolas Flamel is, then come with me." He played with the bronze mirror and walked towards the marble steps at the entrance of the auditorium. The goblet filled with bright red wine floated steadily on the side, drifting forward as he walked.
Harry and Ron hurried after him.
"Professor Dracula, you can't..." Hagrid wanted to stop him, but before he could finish his words, he was interrupted by Dracula's look when he turned back.
"Don't worry, Hagrid, I know my limits," said Dracula.
He smiled at Hagrid, then turned and disappeared around the corner of the stairs with the two little wizards.
…
The three of them walked straight into the Defense Against the Dark Arts professor's office on the third floor of the castle.
Dracula sat comfortably in the soft armchair, and the floating wine glass beside him automatically fell on the desk. Harry and Ron stood awkwardly at the door, rubbing the corners of their clothes nervously.
"Please sit anywhere." Dracula glanced at them and pointed at the sofa in the office with his chin.
Then he raised the bronze mirror in his hand and smiled easily.
"Nico, there are two interesting little guys who want to know who you are. Do you want to say hello to them?"
