The Dead Master of Beautiful Manly

Chapter 115: Testimonials on the listing

Views:

The new book took 57 days to be published and is finally going to be on the shelves. I would like to thank all the book friends who have been rewarding and recommending it to me. Without you, I probably wouldn’t have been able to persevere.

I would also like to thank my editor, Mr. Lu Ming. If you hadn't signed me, I would have stopped writing this book before the 100,000 words.

Well, the words of thanks have come to an end, and now let’s talk about the issues in the first volume.

I had the idea of writing an epilogue after I finished writing the first volume, but as it was about to be put on the shelves, I decided to put all the remarks together for the release.

First of all, the first volume was barely written according to the outline. Although there are some changes in the details, overall, it still develops according to the context. This can be said to be the only plus point. [For me]

Then there are the shortcomings discovered in the first volume.

Firstly, the characters were not well established in the early stages, especially the Iron Man plot that everyone complained about. Problems arose when the outline was detailed, but I did not discover it in advance. This can be said to be the first poisonous point in the book that discouraged many readers.

Second, in the sixty-odd chapters of this book, when fighting the Abomination, the character Bonnie appeared. She had a lot of scenes in the detailed outline at first, but I deleted the scenes of this character in the later revisions. When I wrote it, I thought I would write it for the time being and maybe use it again at some point, but now looking back, I just feel that it is abrupt. PS: I was also a little autistic because of the criticism from everyone during that period.

Third, I think many readers didn’t see this, that is, the section about the Blacks family in the 70th chapter. In the detailed outline, this plot should have been briefly mentioned, but I wrote it in detail, which made the development of the whole plot no longer compact, and that plot seemed a bit boring...

Fourth, well, this is my own factor, because I happened to be reading a light novel translated from Japanese at that time, {light novels are all written in the first person} so in the seventy or eighty chapters, I also tried to use the third person to write in a similar way to the first person, that is, those chapters where the protagonist's name is not mentioned in the whole book.

Although the meaning is still the same, it is quite different from the overall writing style. Now I feel quite regretful.

Fifth, I am also dissatisfied with the ending plot of the first volume. It did not directly describe the cooperation between the protagonist and Wu Xinmo, but wrote it at the very end. The intention was to create a surprising feeling.

But obviously, my writing skills were not up to par and the response was mediocre. I also re-read it and although it was generally acceptable, it did seem like a forced explanation, so I have to be more cautious with this kind of writing in the future.

Sixth, that is the writing style. The words in some places seem redundant, and in some places the words seem to be unfinished.

But this is not intentional. Well, writing and reading novels are two completely different things.

When writing, there is not only what is written, but also what the author is thinking in his mind, while the reader can only see what the author has written.

It is also difficult for the author to read his own novel completely from the reader's perspective, unless he reads it again after a period of time.

But obviously, the characteristics of online novels and the fact that authors write and publish every day make it impossible to do this. All I can say is that I will try to correct this in the future.

Well, the number of words is over a thousand just by writing, and after a quick glance, I think those of you who can still read a novel with so many shortcomings must have maxed out your poison resistance!

But no matter what, since you have read this far, it means that you still have a little desire to read this book. So, considering the author's selfless dedication for nearly two months, it won't be too much to give you a first order!

As an author, I also want to promise everyone that I will try my best to provide a better reading experience in the future.

Well, speaking of this, it’s time for every author to make a declaration of the release of the work and the explosion of new chapters.

Let me explain here that when I wrote this thank you note for publishing the book, I did not have even a single chapter in hand.

Therefore, forget about even thinking about putting eight or ten chapters online.

Preliminary reservation, four basic chapters will be released tomorrow!!!

Then, let me see, the current collection is 10486, according to the average subscription ratio of 20 to 1... This is the only hope for the failed author, please subscribe!!!... The first subscription is based on 500, and for every 100 increase, one more chapter will be added!!!

Then there are rewards for extra chapters. Let's give 10,000 rewards. A single reward of 10,000 will add one chapter! [This is valid for a long time]

Finally, according to convention, it's the monthly votes. Well, forget about that. The author still has a plan in mind. Things like monthly votes are the reserve of super newcomers and various great gods. People like us shouldn't even dream of it. As long as the number doesn't become single digits which is too ugly, it'll be fine. So there's no need to add more chapters.

Well, that’s all. Also, although I think it’s completely impossible, I’ll still talk about it.

No matter how high the average subscription is, or how much is owed in rewards, don't expect the author to pay it off all at once.

The clumsy author can only write one more chapter every day to pay off the debt. It is really impossible to write more than that. But! I will definitely pay it back!

Finally, please subscribe!!! Please reward!!! Please recommend!!!
