The Dead Master of Beautiful Manly

Chapter 4: Heritage 2

The next day.

Around noon.

In front of Colin's grocery store.

Joseph stood at the door, looking at the closed doors and windows, his face grim.

He had tried knocking on the door and shouting, but there was no sound from inside the house.

Considering Colin's coma a few days ago, he had a very bad feeling.

"Damn it! I shouldn't have agreed to let him be discharged from the hospital like that!"

With a curse, Joseph took out the room key that Colin had given him some time ago, pulled up the shutter door very quickly, walked in, glanced at the first floor and found that there was no one, then ran upstairs.

He has known Colin's family for nearly twenty years. He has long regarded Colin as his own brother and Colin's parents as his own parents.

And now, his only remaining brother was very likely to get into trouble because of his negligence. He couldn't imagine how he would face himself then, and how he would face the dead Black couple!

Joseph quickly pushed open the doors one by one. When he came to Colin's bedroom, he looked at Colin lying on the blood-stained bed sheet and his face was covered in blood. His heart skipped a beat.

With such a large amount of bleeding, Colin...

died

He walked to the bed unconsciously, as if he had lost his soul. After glancing at Colin's body, Joseph's eyes suddenly lit up and he stared at Colin's chest.

He seemed to see his chest rise and fall just now.

and…

Not an illusion!

“yes!”

Clenching his fists tightly, Joseph quickly took out his cell phone and called the emergency number.

He wanted to drive Colin to the hospital in a police car, but before he knew what illness Colin had, he didn't dare to touch Colin's body.

He had almost killed his brother once because of his lack of persistence, and he definitely didn't want this to happen a second time!

Colin felt like he had another strange dream.

Unlike the previous dream in which he experienced Colin Black's life as if he were watching a 'real 3D' movie, this time he was not just one person.

Necromancer, Apothecary, Rune Master, Forger, Alchemist, Enchanter...

Many different roles are gathered together, and he, in this constantly changing identity, absorbs the knowledge in the dream into himself.

He had no idea in his dream how long this memory of constantly changing identities lasted.

But the only thing he was sure of was where he was when he woke up again, saw the familiar ceiling and smelled the familiar smell of disinfectant.

"In the hospital again..."

He sat up from the bed, looked at the arm with the IV drip, and sighed.

Look at other time travelers who go to the hospital every other day. But he was in the hospital when he traveled through time, and was admitted to the hospital again less than a day after he left. Listening to the conversation between Joseph and the doctor outside the ward, it was obvious that he could not forget about getting discharged quickly this time.

So, this is poisonous!

Angrily pounding the bed with the hand that was not hanging the bottle, Colin pricked up his ears and listened to the conversation between Joseph and the doctor outside the door.

He only remembered hearing a loud bang after he clicked the icon with his mind, but he was not clear about what happened after that.

And from what Joseph revealed, his condition seemed to be very serious

"Doctor, doctor, what's wrong with my friend? No matter how much he overworks his brain, it's impossible for him to bleed so much!"

Outside the ward, Joseph stopped a doctor in a white coat and asked anxiously.

"According to the examination results, no other symptoms were found, but it is not ruled out that this is a special disease that can only be detected when the patient has an attack. I suggest that you let him stay in the hospital for a while for observation."

The doctor's answer disappointed Joseph.

It is a special disease, and it is a special disease in the brain.

Let’s not talk about other things for now, but it can be basically foreseen that the cost of curing it is definitely not just a few tens of thousands of dollars.

It is even possible that even if they invested all their assets, it might not be enough.

Damn it, why did this happen to Colin!

Joseph was worried outside the ward, and Colin in the ward also widened his eyes as he listened to the doctor's words.

He didn't care about any special diseases or anything like that, after all, he knew what was going on.

But this guy actually persuaded Joseph to stay in the hospital for a longer period of time!

You know, he was already having a headache about how to persuade Joseph to agree to let him be discharged from the hospital as soon as possible.

And now, with the doctor's words, the difficulty of persuasion has obviously increased a lot.

If it wasn't inappropriate now, he really wanted to run out and have a real-life PK with that guy and make him swallow back what he said.

The door of the ward was opened and Joseph walked in with a sad face.

Seeing Colin awake, he suddenly felt much more energized.

"Sorry to trouble you again, Joseph."

He raised the hand that was not hung with an IV drip and waved with a smile as a greeting.

Joseph rolled his eyes, pulled over a stool, and sat down opposite Colin with a serious expression.

After seeing this, Ke Lin also became more serious. He sat up straight and coughed twice:

"What do you want to say? Actually, I think you don't need to care about what the doctor said. I'm fine now. I'll be discharged from the hospital immediately. I think..."

"You almost died! If I hadn't gone to your house."

Joseph spoke in a heavy voice, and the look in his eyes revealed a hint of self-blame.

After seeing this, Colin smiled awkwardly and stopped talking.

He could roughly understand some of Joseph's feelings, and even under the influence of the original owner's memories, he also accepted Joseph as a friend.

But even though he agreed, there were some secrets he really couldn't tell.

Maybe the original owner would, but he is different.

"Well, this atmosphere really doesn't seem like something that would happen between us. Let me just say what I think." Feeling the strange atmosphere in the room, Colin twisted his body and his embarrassed expression instantly turned serious: "I want to be discharged from the hospital!"

"Fuke!!! Do you know what's happening to you right now? You almost died! Died!!!"

As if a bomb had exploded, Joseph's veins popped out and he stood up and yelled.

After seeing this, Colin quickly pressed down with his free hand, "Hey, calm down! Calm down! Man!"

"Believe me, I know more about my condition than those doctors. My previous fainting was due to other factors, not any disease."

"Other factors?" Joseph looked at Colin's serious face. He didn't look like he was lying, nor did he roar excitedly. Instead, he sat back on the stool and asked suspiciously, "What other factors could cause a person to be unconscious and bleeding from all seven orifices?"

"It's a secret." Colin spread his hands helplessly.

"can not say?"

"can not say!"

Seeing that Colin was determined not to tell anything even if he was beaten to death, Joseph suddenly stood up from the stool.

"It seems I need to find a psychiatrist to see if there is something wrong with your mind."

"Hey! Hey! Listen, man, there's nothing wrong with my mind. Let's both take a step back."

Seeing Joseph standing up and walking out, Colin became anxious and greeted him quickly.

Joseph paused, turned around, and crossed his arms over his chest, as if he wanted to see what Colin could say.

Ke Lin didn't care after seeing this. He made a three sign with his right hand and said, "Three days. I'll stay in the hospital for three days. If there are no more problems, we'll be discharged. How about that?"

After hearing this, Yosel's eyebrows moved and he said, "Seven days."

"Okay, just seven days!" Colin made the decision immediately without any argument.
