"Nie Hanqiu..." Chu Xia whispered his name, but felt that her face was on fire.
"Where are you?? Have you gone back??" Nie Hanqiu asked softly as he stood on the 30th floor of the Jiangnan Group's high-rise building, holding Shiwang in his legs and looking at the night scene outside the glass window.
"Well, I'm ready to go back. I'm in the taxi now." Chu Xia held the phone with one leg and played with the corner of her clothes with the other leg, asking softly: "How's it going over there?"
"Very good..." Nie Hanqiu stretched out his legs tiredly, pinched the bridge of his nose, and whispered: "He and Qinghe were watching the reported bribery video. The whole building was dark, except for the 30th and 31st floors, which had a faint light on them.
Although I haven't been to the company for just over a week, it feels like a long time has passed since early summer.
She lowered her head and gently breathed hot air on her other leg, then carried the takeout and walked towards the glass door of the company lobby.
The elevator is directly on the 30th floor.
The entire corridor was quiet, except for the bright lights overhead that gave off a snow-red light.
Outside the glass window, you can see the dark sky, the brightly lit road and the traffic coming and going.
While walking in the corridor, Chu Xia imagined that Nie Hanqiu had been standing there calling herself not long ago.

Her footsteps stopped in front of Nie Hanqiu's office door. She took a deep breath and then pushed open the office door.
After entering, she was still in her assistant's room. Through the floor-to-ceiling glass windows, she could see Nie Hanqiu's upright figure walking behind the desk, staring at the computer in front of him attentively.
Ji Qinghe stood behind him, with one leg propped up on the desk and the other leg draped over the back of his chair, frowning and looking at the computer screen in front of him.

Chu Xia sighed softly and walked toward the vice president's office.
The door opened with a "click".
Nie Hanqiu heard the sound of the door being pushed open and asked casually without raising his head: "I'm back, what did the lawyer say??"
"No." Chu Xia was stunned for a moment, and then realized that Nie Hanqiu thought it was Jiang Qingqiu who pushed in the door.
