"Get out of the way! Get out of the way!"
Yue'er was eating her marshmallow. When she heard the sound, she looked in the direction of the sound and saw a spirit beast car running wildly on the street out of control.
Yue'er calmly licked another marshmallow and looked at the animal cart rushing over. Amid the exclamations and regrets of the people around her, she lightly tapped her toes and her small figure sat down on the fence on the second floor of the nearest restaurant.
The small figure sat on the fence on the second floor, with his feet dangling outside. He held the cylinder with one hand to steady his body and ate marshmallows with the other hand. He watched curiously as the animal cart rushed into a stall, scattering the items on the stall.
The people around looked in astonishment at the child sitting on the second floor with her short legs dangling. They thought that such a small child would be knocked away, but they didn't expect that the little girl was quite agile.
Mr. Guo was stunned for a moment, raised his head and looked upward, and saw the little girl sitting up there looking at him with a smile.
"Can we eat first? I'm hungry!" Yue'er said sweetly, with an innocent and lovely smile. While eating the marshmallow in her hand, she found that even though she was reluctant to eat it, the marshmallow was gradually getting smaller.
Seeing this, Mr. Guo nodded and said with a smile: "Okay, you find a seat upstairs first, I'll be upstairs right away." Then he walked into the restaurant.
During the journey together, she knew that this child would not eat a single pill, but she was indeed more sensible and hardworking than other children. She did not object to the fact that most of the time she just ate dry food and cakes. Now that she had the conditions to enter the restaurant, it was only right for her to have a good meal.
The chaos on the street had not yet dispersed, but the city guards came over quickly to deal with it. However, many people saw the little girl's light and agile body, so they looked towards the second floor of the restaurant from time to time.
After Yue'er finished eating the marshmallows, she sat at the table waiting for the food to be served. Before Mr. Guo came up, she had already asked the waiter to order the food.
"Were you not surprised just now?" Mr. Guo sat down and asked.
"No, the two beasts were frightened, but they didn't hit me." Yue'er said, turning the teacup on the table with her little hands and asking, "Grandpa Guo, is your friend's house far from here?"
"It's not very far, there's no rush. Now that we're in the city, it won't be too late to go after we have dinner and rest." Old Guo said with a smile, looking towards the street below. He saw that as the city guards arrived, two spirit beasts that had lost control for unknown reasons were hacked to death, and blood splattered all over the ground.
He frowned slightly, as if he had not expected the city guards' law enforcement methods to be so bloody and brutal.
"Those two beasts died unjustly." Yue'er supported her cheek with one hand, and when she turned her head and saw the scene below, she couldn't help but sigh.
"Oh?" Mr. Guo was startled, somewhat surprised by her words.
"I just smelled the scent of herbs on them that drive animals crazy." Yue'er said, still playing with the teacup on the table with one hand.
Hearing this, Mr. Guo did not ask any more questions. Some things in the city should not be their business, so they should learn to ignore them, otherwise, they will only get into trouble.
