"Have you finished crying?" Feng Chen asked.

Yan Bubu sniffed and said in a hoarse voice, "It's okay to cry."

Feng Chen patted the stone beside him, motioning him to sit down, took out a bottle of water from his backpack, unscrewed the cap and handed it to him.

After he finished drinking the water, he took out the only two pieces of military rations and handed one to him.

Yan Bubu took a bite and it felt like he was biting into wood. It was hard and had no sweet fragrance from the biscuits.

He suspected that the biscuit had gone bad, but when he saw Feng Chen eating it, he didn't dare say anything.

Feng Chen always ate elegantly. Even when he was sitting beside the ruins eating dry food in a dishevel, he could still eat as if he was in a high-end restaurant. He chewed slowly and there was no sign that the food was hard to swallow.

Yan Bubu, however, did the complete opposite. He held the biscuit with both hands, first using his front teeth, then his molars, and then his front teeth again, biting and grinding it with all his might.

Feng Chen finished his rations and turned to look at Yan Bubu. He found that Yan Bubu had only bitten a piece of his rations and was swallowing them with his neck stretched out.

"Don't roll your eyes."

"Hmm... I didn't mean to, it's a little hard to swallow."

Yan Bubu turned his head and continued to bite the biscuits with his big teeth. Feng Chen looked at him for a moment and asked, "Is this dry food so hard to chew?"

Although the moisture in military rations has been drained and the raw materials have been compressed, the taste is indeed not very good, but it is not so hard to chew.

Yan Bubu glanced at him and didn't say that two of his front teeth were loose. He just bit down hard.

Snap!

"Ah!" Yan Bubu opened his mouth wide and looked at Feng Chen in confusion.

Feng Chen was stunned when he suddenly saw a black hole in one of his front teeth. Then he realized that one of his teeth had broken out.

"Don't move. Let me see."

Yan Bubu opened his mouth and let Feng Chen take the fallen front tooth from his mouth, then frowned and looked at his gums carefully. It was too dark to see clearly, so Feng Chen took out a flashlight and shone it into his mouth.

Yan Bubu sniffed, his voice a little uncontrollable: "Master, I have to sniff whether I wear it or not?"

Feng Chen glanced at him and said, "It's okay. He won't die. He's just changing his teeth."

"Change teeth?"

"Everyone loses their teeth. You are six years old now, so it is time for you to lose your teeth too."

Yan Bubu was stunned for a moment and poked the gap with his tongue. Feng Chen took out a small can of caviar from his bag and scooped a full spoonful with the small spoon that came with the inner lid.

He had just found this caviar in the kitchen at home. He took away Yan Bubu's dry food and spread the caviar on it, carefully avoiding the part that was wetted by Yan Bubu's saliva.

"Master, Adjutant Chen is here to pick you up, but where are the others?" Yan Bubu asked.

Feng Chen's men paused for a moment, lowered their eyes and said, "The plane crashed, and Adjutant Chen is gone."

Yan Bubu rubbed his eyes and asked again: "What about the husband and wife?"

"have no idea."

"Ah?" Yan Bubu looked at him blankly.

"The communication is down and we can't contact them, so now it's just the two of us." Feng Chen handed him the biscuits, "Eat quickly, and we'll leave after you're done."

When leaving, Yan Bubu turned his head and looked in the direction of the villa halfway up the mountain. Feng Chen did not urge him, but just waited quietly.

"Master, will Mom be cold sleeping there?"
