Feng Chen handed the full lunch box to Yan Bubu, and walked towards the room without looking back, not knowing whether he was angry or not.

Yan Bubu hugged the lunch box and hurriedly chased after him.

"Are you angry?" Yan Bubu asked panickedly.

Feng Chen did not answer, but pursed his lips and strode forward.

Someone had put a bamboo basket in the passage, but Yan Bubu didn't see it and tripped. Just as he was about to fall, Feng Chen held him up and caught the lunch box that was about to fly out.

"Brother, I was wrong. I shouldn't have lied to you." Before Yan Bubu could stand firmly, he grabbed Feng Chen's arm.

Feng Chen looked at his arm that was being held tightly, then looked at Yan Bubu, and saw that his face was full of panic. He was stunned at first, then he thought of something and his expression began to improve.

"I'm not angry with you, don't be afraid." He pried open Yan Bubu's fingers little by little and saw that the fingers, which were originally as thin as peanuts, had become thinner and the dimples on the back of her hands were almost invisible.

"Don't be afraid." He held Yan Bubu's hand in his palm, "I just don't want you to go hungry."

Yan Bubu breathed a sigh of relief: "It's okay, I drink a lot of water during the day, and my stomach is bloated."

Feng Chen led him back to the room and sat him down. He opened the lunch box and pushed it in front of him: "Don't save your credit points. A meal today will cost eight o'clock, maybe ten o'clock tomorrow, and fifteen o'clock the day after tomorrow. It would be a waste to save them. What a pity."

Yan Bubu took a bite of the steamed bun and said hesitantly, "But I don't want you to work too hard."

Feng Chen asked: "So you think if you eat less, I won't have to go out to work?"

"Yes, the uncles who work with you said that it's hot, tiring and dangerous outside. I don't want you to feel too uncomfortable." Yan Bubu said.

Feng Chen peeled potatoes with his slender fingers and said calmly, "I don't feel that working is uncomfortable. Our training was much harder than this. I work just to feed us, but I was busy all day and you didn't eat anything. I feel like I worked for nothing. This is what makes me most uncomfortable."

"Is that so?" Yan Bubu opened his mouth slightly.

"What do you think? So I wasn't mad at you just now, but I felt upset."

"Well, I'm sorry. I shouldn't have skipped meals and made you feel bad." Yan Bubu said hesitantly.

Feng Chen put the peeled potatoes into his lunch box: "If you want me to not feel uncomfortable, you must eat your fill. Don't worry about the credit points, just leave that to me."

"Okay." Yan Bubu agreed readily this time. He took a bite of the potato, narrowed his eyes and smiled at Feng Chen: "The potatoes are delicious. I can eat ten in one go."

Feng Chen chuckled and said, "Can you eat ten of them for me to see?"

Yan Bubu let out a groan and stuffed most of the potato in his hand into his mouth. As a result, his mouth was so full that he couldn't even chew it. He just stood there with his mouth open, looking at Feng Chen eagerly.

"Slow down, why don't you have any sense of propriety?"

Feng Chen frowned and crushed the potato in his mouth, then tore off a piece of toilet paper to wipe his fingers in disgust.

After dinner, the two went to the bathroom. Feng Chen rinsed the lunch box skillfully under the faucet. Yan Bubu stared at his hands and suddenly said, "Brother, I know your birthday is coming soon."
