Chapter 67

After the small class, several new classmates invited Yan Bubu to play with them. Seeing that the door of Feng Chen's classroom was closed, Yan Bubu accepted the invitation and went to the spacious place at the staircase with his classmates to play.

"Let's play house. I'm Akaya and you're Rabbi." A little girl about the same age as Yan Bubu asked Yan Bubu to be the male lead in a cartoon.

Yan Bubu shook his head: "I don't want to be a rabbi."

The little girl said, "Then you can be Little John."

John the Younger was the son of Akkaya and Rabbi.

"I don't want to be Little John either." Yan Bubu continued to refuse.

The little girl was not happy: "Then what do you want to be?"

Yan Bubu thought for a moment and said, "I don't want to play house. I want to go shopping."

Yan Bubu was about to walk to the entrance of the big class to see if the door was open. A round-faced little boy stopped him and said, "Hey, I don't want to go home either. Let's go downstairs and take a look? The bottom floor."

"The bottom?"

The children looked at each other, their expressions were both nervous and excited, and Yan Bubu also stopped.

The round-faced little boy said mysteriously: "The teacher doesn't allow us to go down, but I heard that there is a sailor's treasure chest down there, which should contain the most interesting things..."

Sailor's Treasure Box, the most fun thing...

These words have great appeal to children. No one knew who took the first step, but several children all walked down the stairs, and Yan Bubu followed them.

There was only dim light on the ground floor, casting shadows on the huge machines.

Several children stood at the staircase, looking inside. A thin little boy was the first to retreat. He said timidly, "The teacher won't let us come down. Let's go back."

"Isn't there a sailor's treasure chest? Let's go back after we find the treasure chest." The little girl advised.

The round-faced little boy walked in first: "Yes, there is a treasure chest. Let's go find it."

All the children followed, looking around as they walked, looking at the huge machines that awed them, the cold metallic glow reflecting in the dim light.

"What are these for?" the little girl asked softly.

Yan Bubu replied: "My brother often goes to the shipyard to retrieve parts. He said that the bottom floor of the ship is the engine room where the ship can sail. This is the engine room."

"Oh!" The children all nodded.

There was no one else in the dark machine room, and no sound. After the children walked for a while, they all stood still.

"Okay, let's start looking for the treasure chest." The round-faced little boy was a little scared, but he tried to stay calm. "If you find the treasure chest, bring it here and open it together."

Everyone then split up to look for it. They were small in stature, so they squeezed in and out of the gaps between the machines and searched very carefully.

After searching for a few minutes without any results, and the cabin was chilly, some people started clamoring to go back. Yan Bubu was not interested in the treasure chest in the first place, he just came down to play, and then he also crawled out from under a machine.

"Let's go back to class." The children walked towards the stairs, talking in unison. After a few steps, they heard the last child calling them, "Come and see, I found a big egg."

"Big eggs?"

Yan Bubu stopped and looked back, and saw the child lying in front of a cylindrical machine with his hand inserted into a curved pipe at the bottom of the machine.
