The end of the story once again left me in suspense. Before I had time to think deeply, I heard a slight sigh in my ears. I noticed that the voice came from the conductor. Looking up at the screen, the other person's face was still shrouded in shadow, making it unclear what his expression was. The conductor didn't notice my gaze, but tilted his neck and said: "This story..."
"What?" the young man asked, "Is there a problem? Or have you heard of it before?"
"Forget it, I'll give you a ticket." The conductor's voice became lazy again.
There was a mechanical sound, and the young man took the ticket and looked at it. What he did next surprised me. He did not return to his seat directly, but suddenly waited for the conductor on the screen and said, "Don't you..."
"Now that the story has been told, what else is there to be obsessed with?" the conductor said calmly, "You'd better care about your own questions. The answer may be at the next stop."
"That's right." The young man smiled mockingly and returned to his seat like everyone else.
After listening to the conversation between the two, I instinctively felt that there was a secret about the conductor hidden in the story just now.
"When you have time to think about other people's secrets, why not take care of yourself." The conductor obviously said this to me, "I haven't figured it out yet. You are really stupid."
"Can I... try?" A young woman appeared in the aisle.
I looked at the girl in surprise because I didn't remember such a woman among the passengers. She seemed to appear out of thin air. The other party's speech was not fluent, as if he was not familiar with the language. I looked at her exotic-style long dress and secretly guessed that maybe she was a foreigner.
"Do you have a story too?" The conductor's tone was a little surprising.
The woman nodded.
"Look at me." The conductor mocked me, and then said to the woman, "You can start."
"Handheld dance... is the story I want to tell next."
Storms have colors.
It was dark and gloomy, covering the blue sky and blocking the warm sunshine. There was only a low, thunderous roar in my ears, and a sudden, wanton wind swept me into the sky. I heard the exclamations of the tribesmen and watched them getting farther and farther away from me. However, I could only stretch out my hands in vain, trying to catch the shadow that disappeared from sight.
I seemed to have entered another world. What I heard in my ears and what I saw in my eyes was only chaos and confusion. My mind was in a panic, and for the first time I understood that fate was so mysterious, unpredictable and impossible to fight against. Breathing became more and more difficult. I struggled in the air, not fighting for anything, but maybe just to vent the fear in my heart.
Exhausted mentally and physically, I fainted and finally found the peace I longed for.
A strange wilderness, that was the world I saw after I woke up.
The sky seemed washed, a pure blue. The ground beneath my feet was yellow and dry, with a disconcerting emptiness. It was precisely because of this emptiness that I soon understood that I was completely separated from my tribe.
I remembered the warnings of the tribesmen. Once we leave the team, death will be waiting for us. I looked around blankly at this vast and empty world. I didn't know where I was. I just felt lonely and helpless.
The sun, bright and blazing, which I once considered a symbol of beauty, was now viciously draining the water from my body until I withered and died.
The instinct of survival drives my steps. I must escape from here before I can survive.
Although there is an unknown ahead, I have no room to think.
Moving forward in a daze, there was silence all around. His mind wandered uncontrollably, recalling the past, just like a dying person recalling his life.
I thought of the land where I once lived with my tribe. It was a mountain forest. Although it was simple, it had beautiful scenery. I heard from the old people that we have lived there for generations, far away from the hustle and bustle of the outside world, and it has been an unknown amount of time. People boast about the peace and tranquility there, but I don't think so. To me, that kind of life is boring and monotonous. There, I could see almost all of my life at a glance, living and then dying. I always feel that something is missing from such a life. I often stand at the highest place in the mountains, facing the wind and the scorching sun, looking at the most distant places.
Fortunately for me, this life did not last long. Soon, I attended a meeting of the tribesmen. Although I don’t know what they were arguing about, I understand the final decision. We are about to leave here and go to the far north.
During the trip, I was always full of excitement. However, because of this, I did not notice the signs of the storm, which led to the current ending.
north! I finally remembered. Maybe heading north, I can still meet my tribesmen.
Hope was ignited in my heart, and my steps became a little brisker.
After an unknown amount of time, the sky became dim and the ground looked even darker. I saw the boundary of the wilderness, which was a forest with elongated tree shadows that stretched into the distance like a dark green belt. I watched from a distance, and could faintly hear the sound of water flowing, and a chill came over my thirsty body.
As expected, there was a small pond in the woods. It is clear and clean, and the trees in the reflection sway gently, bringing out the subtle and beautiful sound of water flow.
The cool water moistened my dry body and finally brought me back from the brink of death from thirst. I sat by the pool and panted gently, looking at the increasingly dark forest, feeling the horror of loneliness again.
A flashing figure in the distance attracted my attention, and I saw a person dressed similarly to me on the other side of the pond.
Could it be a separated tribesman
I stood up in surprise, waved and shouted in the distance. The shout suddenly sounded in the forest, seeming to attract the other party's attention. The man seemed to turn around and was about to walk towards me. In joy, I squinted my eyes, trying to discern the other person's appearance. Maybe, I can still call her name.
The sound of water was like the sound of a stone being smashed into the water.
A fat man suddenly jumped out of the water, rushed to the other side, and threw my people to the ground. She struggled in fear, her slender body unable to shake the opponent at all. The fat man lowered his head, revealing his ugly and plump face, opened his mouth wide, and actually bit her head.
I dare not describe the next scene. All I know is that it was the most horrific sight I have ever seen in my life. Witnessing the death of my tribe members, at that moment, a trace of joy flashed through my despicable heart. If that unknown tribesman hadn't approached the pool, maybe the target of that ugly fat man's attack would have been me.
There was no time to blame myself, because the fat man had already noticed me. He was wiping the blood from his mouth and turned to look here.
