"Your Highness, there is a letter from the Elven Kingdom."
When Kant walked into the Senate Hall early in the morning, he heard such reports from the surrounding guards.
"Did it come this morning?" Kant asked lightly. Went to the desk and sat down.
On the top of the copy pile was a letter with the national emblem of the Elven Kingdom printed on it.
"Yes." The servant replied.
"The Elven Kingdom is about half a month away from here. DeWitt and the others must have been floating on the sea for half a month now." Kant opened the envelope, read the entire letter, and read in a low voice.
"I didn't expect that this ship really wouldn't dock." A soldier rushed to the fence on the deck and retched towards the sea.
"The kind of ship you mentioned that will be docked is not going to perform a mission at all." Another soldier followed him and stood beside him, enduring his stomach churning, and said with an uncomfortable expression.
"But there's still half a month left, you have to survive." A soldier put his hands on the shoulders of the two and said.
"Austinger?!"
"It's really strange to say that you are so dizzy in a carriage. How come you don't have any sense of the swaying sea." A soldier shook his head in confusion.
"I don't know either, maybe it's because I match the attributes of the sea." Austin said proudly.
"You two stop talking. Can you help me back to the lounge, I feel like my legs are weak from vomiting." The soldier who had been retching by the railing interrupted weakly.
"I see you, let's go to the infirmary." Austin raised his eyebrows and suggested.
As he spoke, he lifted up half of the soldier's body and walked to the infirmary at the other end.
"The days at sea are really boring." DeWitt, who stood watching from the side, sighed.
"Aren't the days in the army boring?" Claremont asked with a smile.
"That's right. It's the same everywhere. It's just that I have a different mood." DeWitt thought for a while, and replied with a smile: "Claymont, you are really happy. It feels like the days when you were on the ship, it seems that the whole People have become a lot more relaxed.”
"No. I just want to cherish the moment when I'm close to danger." Claremont shook his head easily: "It should be regarded as a way to relieve stress."
"It's pretty good."
Even on a sunny day, the sea in late autumn is not calm.
Huge waves rolled up at the end of the field of vision, and people standing on the boat could hear the earth-shattering sound.
A ship with a capacity for thousands of people, in the middle of an endless sea: like a dead leaf dropped into a pond. Whether it sinks or succeeds, it is up to God to decide.
"It should be a month later when the next letter is sent to Calradia." Kant said with emotion.
He has never been so focused on the team going out.
After all, these soldiers were sent to a land beyond the Nalun Desert to carry out missions in places where there was no communication.
"Pass Aubrey to the Senate Hall." Kant put down the letter paper in his hand, and ordered to the guards beside him.
"Yes." After the guard agreed, he bowed and retreated.
"Captain Aubrey, His Highness Kant announces you into the palace."
In the training ground of the guards in the palace, the guards sent by Kant pass the word to Aubrey who is practicing boxing.
"Did the scout send a message?" Aubrey asked after stopping.
"Yes." The servant replied.
"Yeah. I'll change my clothes and go see Your Highness right away." Aubrey let go of his clenched hands and confessed to the guard.
Aubrey hurried to the gate of the Senate Hall.
"Your Highness Kant." Aubrey bowed and saluted.
"Captain Aubrey, long time no see." Kant said hello, "The courier from the Elf Kingdom delivered a letter from DeWitt this morning."
Kant found the letter from the pile of copywriting on the side and handed it to Aubrey.
"They should still be at sea now." Aubrey took the letter and held it in his hand. But did not take it apart immediately.
"Hmm. It seems to be going well so far." Kant responded.
"That's good." Aubrey nodded.
"The island they went to has not been officially divided into the territory of any country. But there are many races of vagrants on the island. After the elves sent people there for the first time, they also set up a site on the island." Kant Added: "At that time, the news of the soldiers will be reported back to the Nalun Desert by the people at the site."
"This event is all based on the contact of the elves." Aubrey commented.
"The elves are becoming more and more cautious in doing things now, which should also be related to the changes after the Undead War." Kant said: "Their level of handling can still be assured."
"Yes." Aubrey responded, "Thank you, Your Highness, for passing on the news from the front line to me."
"It's okay." Kant shook his head and said, "After all, it was promised."
"Then, I'd better return this letter to you, Your Highness." Aubrey handed the envelope back with both hands, "I just want to make sure they are safe. I should not be involved in understanding the details of the mission."
Kant looked up and took the envelope without making a sound.
"Your Highness, if there is nothing else, I will take my leave first." Aubrey said goodbye.
"Hmm." Kant responded.
"It's finally here!"
A soldier sitting in the captain's cabin saw the land in the distance and couldn't help shouting excitedly.
"land!!"
The soldiers gathered on the deck also shouted happily when they saw how far the ship was from the docking place.
"Soldiers, your destination - Crow Island has arrived. Please pack your bags and get ready to disembark." The ship's staff announced with a loudspeaker.
The soldiers rushed back to their cabins one after another, carrying the luggage packed last night on their backs.
"All Calradian soldiers, assemble on the deck. Line up to disembark." Claremont took the horn from the crew and directed loudly.
Calradian soldiers and elf soldiers lined up in two square formations.
The first row of soldiers in the two phalanxes got off the boat by leaning on the escalator.
"The soldiers in the rear row follow," DeWitt ordered.
After all the soldiers disembarked, DeWitt and others disembarked, followed by the crew.
"Finally reached the land." A Calradian soldier said with emotion.
"I always feel that what I'm stepping on is not land, but cotton." Another soldier said, stomping his feet.
"I have the same feeling. The boards on the boat are wooden, and they are still swaying. Coming to this land, the land is much more solid."
"Where are the people at the Elven Country site?" DeWitt looked around and asked.
"Could it be those few?" Claremont asked hesitantly. The finger points straight ahead.
