Red Boy, Monkey, and Squirrel looked curiously at the door of Fangzheng's meditation room, full of doubts and curiosity. What happened

Fang Zheng didn't care what they were thinking. He rushed into the meditation room and opened the Bible cabinet. He saw a brand new scripture in the Bible cabinet! Written on the blue cover are several vigorous and powerful characters - "Prajnaparamita Heart Sutra"!

When Fang Zheng saw this, he raised his head and laughed wildly...

At this time, Red Boy and Squirrel sneaked in and saw Fang Zheng holding a thin booklet and laughing wildly. The two looked at each other and couldn't understand why Fang Zheng was laughing.

Hong Hai'er couldn't help but ask: "Master, why are you laughing there with such a pamphlet in your arms? Isn't this from an island country?"

Fang Zheng rolled his eyes, gave him a shudder, and said, "Don't talk nonsense if you don't understand, this is not an ordinary thing, this is a scripture!"

Upon hearing this, the squirrel immediately ran up to Zheng Zheng's shoulder, then followed his arm to his hand, touched the "Prajnaparamita Heart Sutra" and asked curiously: "Master, is this sutra too thin? How many words can be written on it? ?”

Fang Zheng smiled and said: "This book is indeed thin. As for the number of words, it's not many, only two hundred and sixty words."

"Huh? So few?" Squirrel and Red Boy shouted at the same time.

Fang Zheng said: "Don't be dissatisfied. Although this "Prajna Paramita Heart Sutra" is short, its value cannot be exchanged for a thousand pieces of gold! There is this sentence in the Tibetan scriptures: Among the eighty-four thousand Dharma gates said by the Buddha, Prajna Dharma gate is the most special. Victory. In other words, the status of these two hundred and sixty words in Buddhist classics is equivalent to the transcendent status of the Diamond Sutra in Zen. To put it bluntly, it is the core essence of all dharma! There are many monks who spend their entire lives By just reading this sutra, one can achieve considerable achievements. However, most monasteries teach it as the most basic sutra for entry."

When Red Boy and Squirrel heard this, they understood the value of this booklet and became even more curious. What exactly was written in it? How could it stand out among the others with more than two hundred words? Also, no matter how awesome it is, it seems to be just an introductory book. Are you so happy

Fang Zheng was too lazy to pay attention to them. There were countless Buddhist scriptures, and each one had many volumes. Even if people spent their entire lives, they might not be able to read all the scriptures. Since it is impossible to read it all, then this direct understanding of the core essence of all scriptures has become the simplest and most efficient way to study. After understanding the core, then read other scriptures, and by drawing parallels, the speed of understanding will naturally be different.

This is like learning to write articles and first learning to write. Once you know how to write, it won't be too difficult to learn to write articles. But I don’t know how to write, so I just write articles. Who knows what I can write...

Fang Zheng has never read the "Prajna Paramita Heart Sutra", but only listened to Zen Master Yi Zhi reciting it to him. According to what Zen Master Yi Zhi meant, the introductory lessons in all monasteries now are this "Prajna Paramita Heart Sutra", referred to as "Heart Sutra" . Some people even say that whether a monk is a true monk depends on whether he can recite the Heart Sutra.

Of course, this is a bit biased, but it also shows the popularity and importance of the "Heart Sutra" from the side.

Fang Zheng can also memorize the "Heart Sutra". Logically speaking, he should not be so concerned about this "Heart Sutra". However, the appearance of this "Heart Sutra" proves that the sutra cabinet can really produce scriptures; secondly, Fang Zheng knows very well. , the scriptures in Lingshan are different from the scriptures in his world! He also wanted to see what the real Heart Sutra looked like!

Fang Zheng couldn't wait to open the "Heart Sutra". When he turned to the first page, he was stunned. The "Heart Sutra" was exactly the same as what he had recited! Two hundred and sixty words, no one too many, no one too little!

"This, system, did you get the wrong book from the Bible cabinet?" Fang Zheng asked.

"Ding! No, the function of the scripture cabinet is to collect the scripture information of your world and then aggregate it into a book. Therefore, the "Heart Sutra" you see is the "Heart Sutra" of your world. If you want the true scripture of Lingshan, the last At least we need to build a Buddhist scripture building." The system said.

Fang Zheng rolled his eyes and said, "Are you kidding me? If I remember correctly, you said that the scriptures he produced are from Lingshan."

"That's right. If you were in the world of Lingshan, what would be gathered together would be the scriptures of Lingshan. But here, it cannot collect information across borders, so it can only produce scriptures of this world. If you want to break through the world barrier, It must be in the Sutra Storage Building." The system said matter-of-factly.

Fang Zheng was suddenly speechless, and the "Heart Sutra" in his hand suddenly became much lighter. Unhappy! Very unhappy! The expectations were so high, but this is the only result

"Don't be upset, just read it over and talk about it later," the system said.

Fangzheng was speechless and turned to the next page. The result...

"Annotations on Bodhidharma!"

"What?!" Fang Zheng's eyes almost popped out! Continue to turn back.

"Explanatory Notes on Shenxiu!"

"Discover the annotation!"

"Annotations of Kumarajiva!"

"System, this can't be fake, right? So many annotations? Also, why is there so many pages in such a thin book?" Fang Zheng was really shocked. Each article was annotated by a eminent monk who existed in history! The value of this is already much higher than the Heart Sutra itself!

"Although the Bible Cabinet cannot collect information across borders, when collecting all the information in this world, it will search for all relevant information and merge it into books. Some of these annotations were written down and passed down, and some appeared in history and were later lost. Some of them were not written down at all and were just passed down orally; others were transformed from what these people thought and thought. As to why there are so many pages, is it that only you humans are allowed to have e-books, but not Does Lingshan have unlimited pages? How about it? Do you still dislike the Bible cabinet now?"

Fang Zheng immediately shook his head like a rattle. Although he did not get the true scripture, he could get the annotations and insights from so many eminent monks. Although the true scripture was more precious, given Fang Zheng's current appetite, the later ones were more suitable for him. There is no best, only more suitable ones. Understanding Buddhism cannot be achieved overnight. The only way is to take it step by step, so as not to bite off more than you can chew, and eat too much and support yourself.

After taking the Heart Sutra, Fang Zheng no longer stayed in the temple. Although the temple was quiet, there were still many pilgrims, which inevitably caused some disturbance.

Fang Zheng ran directly to the bamboo forest at the back, put down a chair, sat on it, and leisurely read the "Heart Sutra" and the annotations behind it. At the same time, I couldn't help but read out: "

Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva, walking in the deep Prajnaparamita for a long time, saw that the five aggregates are all empty, and survived all the hardships.

Relics, color is not different from emptiness, emptiness is not different from color, color is emptiness, emptiness is color, and the same is true for feelings, thoughts, and consciousness.

Relics are all dharmas that are empty, neither born nor destroyed, neither dirty nor pure, neither increasing nor decreasing. That’s why the sky is colorless…”
