Knowledge and books are the life of mankind, and also the path of mankind, but there is no end!
Fang Yun looked at the mountains, took a deep breath, suppressed the joy in his heart, and took a quick look.
These books are of various types and colors, including the insights of the saints, fantasies, deductions, the process of cultivation, combat experiences, and even complete memories!
Memory books are the most precious books in the mountain of books, and each memory book is at the top of each mountain.
When you read memory books, you will become the owner of the book and gain access to everything the owner of the book has experienced in the memory, including not only hearing, vision, smell, taste and touch, but also the owner's thoughts at the time.
Not just the surface thoughts, but also the subconscious thoughts deep in your heart!
The human heart is always a tangle of evil and goodness.
There has never been a good person who does not have a trace of evil thoughts, and there has never been an evil person who does not have a trace of good thoughts.
Opening up your experiences, perceptions, and ideas is really nothing, but if you really release your memories and let yourself stand out in the world completely naked, even a semi-saint or even a sub-saint may not be able to do it.
Among the mountains of books, the tallest one is the Confucius Mountain.
And at the top of the mountain of books, there is a book emitting white light.
That is Confucius's book of memory.
It is also the only complete book of memory in the human race, which records the memories of Confucius' life.
Other saints also have memory books, but they are divided into several copies, and some memories are even deliberately erased.
Only the Book of Memory of Confucius fully presents all his memories from birth to death, from his earliest memories to the time before the saint's death, without any changes.
Fang Yun looked at the sacred book of memory on the mountain of Confucius' books, his heart filled with admiration.
I can’t do it myself!
Fang Yun knew clearly that he couldn't do it now, and he wouldn't be able to do it even after becoming a sub-sage. Perhaps, he would be able to do it only after he became a saint.
But Fang Yun believes that he will be able to do it in the future!
"The first thing I have to do now is to condense a million books with my divine consciousness!"
Fang Yun thought to himself, considering which book to condense first.
A mountain of books is the freest. Any knowledge, information, idea or even a fleeting thought can be turned into a book.
However, if the idea is worthless, such as eating leek dumplings tonight, it cannot be condensed into a book.
Human beings are not short of ideas, further thoughts, or even further information. What they lack is knowledge.
However, knowledge cannot be acquired overnight. True knowledge may originate from a whimsical idea or an apple hitting the head.
Looking at these books, Fang Yun realized the greatness of Confucius' creation of the mountain of books.
Condensing books may seem simple, but in essence it is a process of recollecting, organizing, sorting, refining and finally outputting. This is a great method of learning through teaching, and it is also the most effective method known to mankind.
Confucianism discovered this method thousands of years ago. "Teaching tirelessly" and "teaching and learning benefit each other" means learning through teaching.
Seeing through one of the true meanings of the mountain of books, Fang Yun began to condense his own books.
According to his own thinking habits, Fang Yunxian classified his knowledge system into categories such as Confucianism, military science, medicine, engineering, history, philosophy, mathematics, physics, novels, and so on.
Then, further subdivide each major category until it cannot be divided any more, and restructure your own knowledge system according to the famous pyramid principle.
This was also the first time that Fang Yun thoroughly organized his own knowledge system.
A huge irregular triangle emerged in Fang Yun’s mind, with countless knowledge nodes on it, and each node was a classification or knowledge point.
Fang Yun's mind moved, and each node suddenly appeared in a different color.
A black node means that the knowledge in this area is fully mastered, a gray node means that most of the knowledge is mastered, a white node means that only a little knowledge is known, and a red node means that almost no knowledge is known.
Afterwards, Fang Yunsheng’s thoughts began to move, and various fine lines appeared between a large number of categories.
The black solid line is the relationship between superiors and subordinates, the black dotted line is the relationship between the same level but different categories, the green line is the new knowledge formed between two nodes, and the red line with an arrow is multiple categories and knowledge points forming another knowledge...
Soon, all of Fang Yun's knowledge formed a complex knowledge classification network.
In the knowledge classification network, there are many terminals, which have upper nodes but no lower nodes, and are the most basic knowledge elements.
This kind of terminal knowledge element is endless and constitutes the foundation of the knowledge network, and is also the largest part.
Each terminal knowledge element can become a book in itself.
After Fang Yun constructed the preliminary knowledge points, he breathed a sigh of relief. This might take years for ordinary people, but for him, it would only take a few breaths to complete.
Next, Fang Yun thought for a long time and decided to start defining.
Define each node, from the top node to the bottom node, using your own cognition to let your brain know more clearly what each knowledge point is.
This project is more ambitious than compiling a dictionary!
Fang Yun originally thought that this process was very simple, but he soon encountered huge obstacles because he did not know everything.
In the process of definition, some knowledge points are vague in themselves, some overlap with other categories, some can be regarded as subcategories of another category, and some can be understood by oneself but cannot be precisely defined...
Various problems popped up. Faced with so many difficulties, Fang Yun was not worried but happy, because this process was like bringing up the old stuff, allowing him to more clearly see where his shortcomings were.
If there are deficiencies, make up for them!
If there is a problem, solve it!
If there are shortcomings, correct them!
As long as you have a heart to find ways to solve problems and take action, instead of just thinking about solving problems, everything can be solved!
After discovering his own problems, Fang Yun's heart was filled with great joy, as if he had just seen a mountain of books.
Fang Yun began to work hard to define, change, and reorganize the new knowledge system.
This process took a full ten months of studying.
During these ten months, Fang Yun not only simply defined the knowledge points, but also kept looking through books, often multitasking at the same time to consider a knowledge point from different angles.
Finally, the basic definition was completed and Fang Yun breathed a sigh of relief.
Fang Yun knew clearly in his heart that he was not omniscient, so his knowledge would inevitably be constantly updated and iterated. Every definition might be changed in the future, some might be changed slightly, and some might be changed completely.
Just like the Ship of Theseus, every plank will be replaced, and in the end there is no need to care whether it is the Ship of Theseus or not. You just need to know that it is a better ship!
After defining all the knowledge nodes, Fang Yun suddenly felt a little confused.
Because, after the definition, there are explanations and examples!
The definition is just a clear description of a node. For example, "lock-on instantaneous single-target attack war poem" is a terminal knowledge element, and the definition is "forming a war poem that can directly act on the target."
However, if you want to explain it, you don't need to explain the big category of attack war poems, but you need to clearly explain locking, instantaneous, single body, etc. At the same time, you also need to explain in detail the relationship between this terminal knowledge element and other knowledge nodes. Finally, you need to give various examples.
