"Yili" is a system of etiquette compiled by Confucius' disciples, focusing on the etiquette of scholars and officials, including the ceremony of coming of age, weddings, funerals, sacrifices and so on.

The etiquette system of the human race has been changing all the time, so after "The Book of Zhou Rites" and "The Book of Rites", a classic more suitable for scholars appeared, "The Book of Rites".

"Book of Rites" is the work of Dai Sheng, a semi-sage in the Western Han Dynasty. The content of "Book of Rites" can be divided into four categories. The second category is the explanation of "Zhou Li" and "Yili", the first category records various rituals, the third category records the words of Confucius and his disciples, and the fourth category is the articles written by representative figures of Confucianism.

The most famous chapters in the Book of Rites are The Great Learning and The Doctrine of the Mean. The Great Learning was written by Zengzi, the second sage, while The Doctrine of the Mean was written by Zisi, the second sage and grandson of Confucius.

During the Song Dynasty in the ancient Chinese nation, Zhu Xi even separated "The Great Learning" and "The Doctrine of the Mean" from "The Book of Rites" and listed them as one of the "Four Books" along with "The Analects of Confucius" and "Mencius".

In Shengyuan Continent, there is no such thing as Four Books and Five Classics, only Six Classics and Thirteen Classics.
