The Path of the Sage

Chapter 502: Poetry overwhelms the real dragon

Views:

There are four levels of star position, and people who are not from noble families can also obtain the star position of a fourth level lord, but it is harder than ascending to heaven, almost as difficult as finding the supreme literary mind.

Fang Yun withdrew his gaze from the King’s Star and looked at his own statue.

The self-statue in the Wen Palace has not changed at all, but the number of colorful bracelets on the wrist has increased a lot compared to the beginning, which is the result of reciting "Spring and Autumn Annals" in the holy temple.

Fang Yun knew clearly that the reason he was able to become a Saint-level Jinshi so quickly was largely due to his reading of the "Spring and Autumn Annals" in the holy temple.

Ordinary scholars lack talent, and can only develop verbal sparring after their talent reaches two inches. Because the process of developing verbal sparring requires constant consumption of talent, insufficient talent will lead to the interruption of the development of the sword.

A Jinshi who doesn't even have the ability to wield a sword can only be considered a "first-time Jinshi".

The sharp sparring between the lips was bred in the Wen Palace and fired from the mouths. In order to prevent the leakage of power, the Jinshi at this time rarely spoke, so they were called "the cautious Jinshi".

And the verbal sparring unleashed at the moment the sword is successfully conceived, combined with the poems of hiding the sword and opening the sword, will be incredibly powerful, at least equivalent to the power of raising one's literary rank.

Fang Yun currently had a total of more than nine inches of talent. Not to mention forging an ordinary sword, even a sword containing dragon bones would be easy for him. However, to transform a real dragon bone into a verbal sword, the talent consumed would probably be dozens of times that of others.

No matter what, the sword-preparation must proceed.

Fang Yun left the Wen Palace, took a deep breath, took out a table and chair from the Yinjiangbei and sat down, then took out the best pen and ink, and then took out a light golden holy page.

Fang Yun is a frequent visitor to "The Holy Way", and he has obtained more holy pages than all the people in Jing Kingdom obtain in a year.

When in the Holy Ruins, Fang Yun obtained the Yinjiangbei from the body of the evil king's spirit. He not only obtained the remaining pages of "Peach Blossom Spring", the mysterious Dragon's Breath Stone Inscription, but also many Jinshi literary treasures, and even six Hanlin literary treasures!

Juren can only use Jinshi Wenbao, but Fang Yun is now a Jinshi, so he can use the powerful Hanlin Wenbao.

Two of the six Hanlin treasures were damaged and needed to be repaired. Fang Yun deposited these two treasures together with other things in the Holy Courtyard.

The other four Hanlin cultural treasures can also be used.

One of them is the "Half Peak Pen", which contains a Hanlin war poem "Half Peak Collapsed". After the poem was published, the vital energy turned into a hundred-meter-high mountain to bombard the enemy. It was an ingenious creation of an old Hanlin who saw a mountain collapsing, and it is extremely powerful.

One is the "Heavenly Chasm Inkstone". The poem sealed in this inkstone is not about killing the enemy, but a poem about stopping the enemy. It forms a huge chasm to cut off the enemy. This treasure is very effective in stopping the army on the ground, but it is of little use on the Dragon Terrace where anyone can fly. It can only be used to stop the dragon monsters that are not good at flying.

The third item is the famous protective treasure "Song of the Turtle Paperweight", which contains a poem called "Song of the Turtle" by Cao Cao. This ancient poem was written by Cao Cao when he saw a monster turtle on the sea. It can summon a huge monster turtle with vitality to protect itself, and it can move quickly.

To date, "Ode to the Turtle" is still the most commonly used defensive war poem handed down by Hanlin scholars.

The fourth item is a cultural relic that is almost useless.

The literary style of the Ten Kingdoms flourished. With a population of billions, there were many war poems, especially from Jinshi to Daru. However, few of them have been handed down.

Some of the war poems were written inaccurately.

The fourth cultural treasure is a dragon-shaped pen holder, and the "Ode to Weiyang Palace" sealed inside is a war poem written in a biased way.

Putting aside the defense capability, this ancient poem has beautiful words. But the problem is that the rhetoric of this ancient poem is too gorgeous, which overshadows the practicality of the defense war poem itself. This Hanlin defense war poem will be transformed into a gorgeous palace. The defense capability of this palace is very poor, and it can barely block one or two attacks from the juren, and it is vulnerable in front of the jinshi.

It would be impossible for a Hanlin to exchange all his life's energy for such flashy war poems before his death. If they were handed over to the country, they would be useless to future generations and could not be sold. However, unless someone placed an order in advance and promised the Hanlin great benefits.

Although Fang Yun did not know the origin of this cultural treasure, but as soon as he saw the style of the pen holder and the wasteful attitude, he knew that it must be a dragon from the dragon clan who wanted such a flashy cultural treasure, so he offered a huge benefit to trade with a Hanlin.

The dragon clan has done many ridiculous things like this.

Fang Yun placed the Banfeng pen and Songgui paperweight on the table, ready for use at any time. The power of the war poems sealed in the Hanlin Wenbao did not weaken, but the disadvantage was that it would take at least a long time before they could be used again after being used once, and the talent consumed was twice that of normal war poems. The advantage was that they could be used immediately.

It is difficult for ordinary Jinshi's poems to reach the level of Hanlin Wenbao.

Although the Tianqian Inkstone is a Hanlin Wenbao, the Longnao Inkstone that Fang Yunyou won at the Chongyang Literary Conference is far more effective than the Hanlin Wenbao Inkstone. Even the Grand Secretary Wenbao Inkstone is inferior to Fang's Longnao Inkstone in some aspects.

Fang Yun made all the preparations, took a deep breath, picked up the Banfeng pen, and the sword-pregnancy poem, also known as the sword-nurturing poem, which he had been thinking about for several months, emerged in his mind.

The key to the sword-pregnant poem is the word "pregnant". One should let the poem wrap the dragon bone to integrate the talent and literary courage, and finally give birth to the sword of words.

Verbal sparring is a force between matter and spirit, so it has all kinds of magical properties.

Fang Yun had written three monuments in the Ink Sword Pavilion of the Lingyan Pavilion. His words and ink became swords, and whenever he started arguing, there would always be an ink sword following him. Its power was equal to the war poems of his literary rank, and it was extraordinary.

Fang Yun was extremely careful in choosing the poem about sword-making. There are too many poems related to swords in ancient China, but most of them are written from a side perspective, and there are not many poems about sword-making or sword-making.

Fang Yun thought for a long time and found an unusual poem that had the meaning of pregnant with a sword. It should be called a couplet.

The so-called couplets are a way of writing ancient poetry. It is not written by one person, but by multiple people who each contribute one or several sentences to form a poem.

After pondering for many days, Fang Yun finally decided to use the "Sword Couplets" which is well-known in history as the sword-conceiving poem. The first two authors of this poem are both well-known figures. Even the third person, who has the least fame, has been famous for thousands of years because of an ancient article.

The first two authors of this poem were Fan Zhongyan and Ouyang Xiu, and the third was Teng Zijing.

Fang Yun picked up the pen and wrote on the holy page.

"The sage creates a divine army to resolve the world's disasters."

These two sentences were written by Fan Zhongyan. After Fang Yun wrote them, a great sense of righteousness came over him. Fang Yun seemed to see the great spirit of a famous minister who "worried about the world before he worried about himself, and was happy after he was happy." The sage directly wrote about forging magic weapons and pacifying the world.

"Chiyou came up with an idea, and Gan Jiang achieved great success."

These two sentences were written by Ouyang Xiu, the "Saint of Prose". According to ancient legends, Chi You smelted copper and iron and made weapons, making him the ancestor of weapons. Gan Jiang was a famous swordsmith who forged the two famous swords, Gan Jiang and Moye, together with his wife.

This means that the saint forges a magic sword with the ability of Chiyou in forging weapons, and also has the achievements of Gan Jiang in forging swords.

"The bellows open the heaven and earth, the furnace smelts the yin and yang."

Teng Zijing wrote these two sentences: When the furnace's blower blows, the sky and the earth open up, and the power of smelting the magic sword can create yin and yang.

"The Southern Emperor sends fire essence, and the Western Emperor sends gold liquid.

The blazing Kun Mountain shines, the raging Hong He roars.

Thunder helps morale, sun and moon sink the essence.

The spirit does not depend on the size, but on the three feet of difference.

The Lingxi Spring is used to temper the stone, and the Taihang Stone is used to grind the stone.

The male and female stand side by side, shining brightly day and night.

Support the wind and clouds. Look at the mist and clouds.

A man of strong and upright character, a man of integrity and patriotism.

At first I suspected that it was a Xia Ding, and that the demons and ghosts were everywhere in the world.

It is like drawing a Wu sword. Rhinoceros and elephants are said to have no gaps…”

“… The influence of ghosts and evildoers is so great that it makes people feel depressed.

Once you master the divine power, you can kill all the evildoers in the world.

The King of Zhou went to fight in obedience to Heaven, and the suburbs of Shang were a thousand miles away.

The Chu army raised its voice. The Qin army led thousands of white

Auspicious glory crowns Wu and Chu, and murderous aura spreads across Yan Yi.

I will help you cut off the giant turtle's feet, and the eight poles will stop the snake from shaking.

I will help you to pluck the wings of a roc. The three stars will become more glorious…”

This poem was written by three people, showing its grandeur and magnificence. This sword has fire essence sent by the Southern Emperor, golden liquid bestowed by the Western Emperor, thunder to help temper it, and the sun and the moon as its soul. The sword creates wind and clouds, and mountains and rivers are silent wherever the sword points. It can correct people's hearts and enlighten their minds, like the Xia Ding that suppresses evil, and like the Wu sword used by the wise king Shun to kill Gun who was ineffective in controlling floods. It can cut the sea and split the waves, fly into the sky and hit the stars, and kill evil and rebels.

Once this sword was out, King Wu of Zhou could win every battle and march straight into the Shang Dynasty's Chaoge City. In Xiang Yu's hand, this sword made the Qin Dynasty soldiers worry and turn gray. The sword's light illuminated Wu and Chu, and the murderous aura spread across the borders of Yan and Yi. It could cut off the feet of a giant turtle that could support the sky, and break the wings of a giant roc that could cover the sky...

Fang Yun recited this poem many times. The first time he wrote it on the holy page, his heart surged, as if he was the man holding the sword, with the ability to attack Shang and the power to destroy Qin.

At the same time, Fang Yun's talent and literary courage were both shaken, resonating with this sword-pregnant poem.

After writing the last word, the Yinjiangbei suddenly opened and a golden dragon bone flew out.

As soon as this golden dragon bone entered the Dragon Platform, it was like a real dragon entering the sea. Divine light shone brightly, and it roared towards the sky with a dragon's roar like thunder.

At the same time, living creatures from all over Denglongtai responded. The most powerful dragon demons roared and issued ecstatic orders, heading straight towards Fang Yun.

The bones of a real dragon tried to fly away, and even showed contempt for the world during the flight. How could the poems of a mere Jinshi turn a real dragon into a sword of tongue!

The remains of the true dragon entered the Denglong Terrace in order to seize the essence of the Denglong Terrace, be reborn in Nirvana, and rule the world!

However, the "Sword Couplets" written by Ouyang Xiu, Fan Zhongyan and Teng Zijing, under the inspiration of Fang Yun, formed an extremely powerful force that suppressed all things.

The holy page quickly enlarged, wrapping the invincible real dragon bone. Without even giving the real dragon bone time to struggle, it turned into a stream of light and drilled into Fang Yun's brows and went deep into the Wen Palace.

Fang Yun hurriedly entered the Wen Palace and looked up.

A crisp sound was heard, and the golden light transformed by "Sword Couplets" wrapped around the bones of the real dragon and rushed into Wen Dan.

In the Wen Palace, the stars are shining, talent is surging, the literary lights are flickering, the stars are shaking, and all the power is rushing into the Wen Dan.

"Ah..."

In the teardrop-shaped transparent Wen Dan, a complete golden real dragon roared to the sky and attacked and bit the Wen Dan madly.

All the power of Wen Gong is combined with Wen Dan to protect Wen Dan from being destroyed.

Fang Yun took a closer look and found that the scales on the golden dragon's body were actually characters, which formed a complete "Sword Couplet".

No matter how the real dragon bone struggles, it can never get rid of this poem.
