There was a slight breeze in the cave, proving that there were other entrances in the cave for air to circulate.
Jobtran accidentally kicked a small stone, which hit the stalactite column nearby and made a slight sound. Some bats hanging upside down on the top of the cave were startled and flew away towards the depths of the cave.
Arnold walked in front, holding up a tinder, and could see that there were many strange patterns on the stalactites on the top of each cave, like some twisted human figures struggling in pain.
Jobtran frowned as he looked at these strange patterns. There were no clues to be gained from these images, but these patterns were completely natural and did not seem to be artificially carved.
Walking in the direction of the bat's flight, there is a fork in the road with no stalactites on the ground. One side goes higher, while the other side goes deeper underground.
Arnold took a look and said to Jobtran,
"I guess the secret is down there. That invisible sense of oppression is coming from down there."
Joe Boutran nodded and said,
"I observed the flight paths of the bats. They deliberately avoided this half of the rock wall. There might be something underneath that the bats are instinctively afraid of."
Arnold looked at Jobtran with an approving look and said, "Yes, we are going down this time to find out what is underground. I am very curious that we need to use that thing to suppress it."
As he walked, Joe Butran asked in confusion, "What is that thing?"
Arnold thought for a moment and said, "It's not a problem to tell you. That holy relic is the gun that killed the Son of God, the Spear of Longinus, one of the most powerful weapons in the world. After being stained with the blood of the Son of God, it has the functions of destroying evil, suppressing demons and sealing. It was originally stored in the Vatican headquarters. I don't know why they transferred it here, but it hasn't been delivered yet. It's not a top secret, but you must remember not to leak it."
Joe Butran took a breath and said in surprise, "What about the thing below? Can the two of us solve it?"
Arnold laughed and responded, "Of course not, we are just investigating. This is actually one of my tasks. I brought you down to let you experience the difficulty of the task."
Jobutran looked embarrassed and conflicted; he was afraid that he would affect his mentor's performance. As for his current abilities, Jobutran was still clear that he was not enough to deal with higher-level threats.
"Let's go, don't worry. I still have a trump card that I haven't used yet, which is enough to keep you safe."
Arnold consoled.
Arnold's words made Jobtran feel much more at ease, and he then followed Arnold to continue exploring deep underground.
Walking out of the dark secret passage, the scene in front of them left them speechless with shock.
It was an extremely empty underground space. The surrounding ground was engraved with countless complex runes, shining with dazzling light, and there was a huge throne in the middle of the magic circle.
Behind the throne is a closed door, which is placed abruptly behind the throne. Countless stars are carved on both sides of the door, which symbolize the image of the universe.
A humanoid creature sat on the throne, leaning its body to support its head.
It is six meters tall, but its limbs are not as visible as those of the giants in mythology. Instead, it gives people a feeling of being extremely thin; it is covered with a thin layer of grayish-white gauze, but its true appearance behind the gauze cannot be seen.
It seemed to be sleeping with its head propped up, and its even breathing could be heard in the quiet environment.
It is like a proud demon king, waiting for brave men to challenge it during the long years.
"Oh? A new pleasure has come during the long wait. Welcome, two mortals."
The gentle voice echoed in this huge space. Although the figure on the throne did not make any movement, it still noticed the two people walking out of the crooked secret passage.
Before the two could react, it immediately spoke again,
"Don't worry, I have no ill will towards you. You can come if you want to, and leave if you want to."
Apostle Arnold and his two companions looked at each other in astonishment and stood cautiously outside the magic circle.
"It's okay, it's okay. The power of the magic circle won't hurt you. This is the magic circle that provides power to this door."
The owner of the voice seemed to like talking very much. Before the two of them had said a single word, the voice had already impatiently said three sentences.
"Hey, come here and chat with me."
A powerful force instantly pulled the two men, and then Arnold and Joet Brown were pulled into the air by this force and flew straight towards the throne.
Arnold didn't expect that the existence underground was so powerful, and he was caught before he even had time to react.
The two of them were flying in the air at a very fast speed. They arrived in front of the throne in just two or three seconds. Just as they were about to fall to the ground, a gentle force appeared out of nowhere and held them up.
The two of them landed slowly on the ground, and the gentle force disappeared only after they stood firm.
Looking closely from this pedestal made of huge stones, the existence in front of him seemed even taller, and Jobtran deeply felt his own insignificance as a human being.
Arnold took out the crystal ball in his arms, ready for battle at any time.
"Eh hey hey? Don't be nervous. Oryx and I are old acquaintances."
After the words fell, the crystal ball in Arnold's hand flew up on its own, flashed twice in the air as a greeting, and then returned to Arnold's pocket.
Arnold had never seen the crystal ball react like this before, and he stood there in amazement.
"In terms of seniority, I am much older than Oryx."
The being on the throne stood up and stretched, but Master Arnold and his apprentice could not see its face behind the veil.
After Arnold realized what was happening, he bowed to this mysterious being and asked respectfully,
"May I ask your name?"
"I have too many names. They don't matter. Just call me Umr."
The mysterious being replied with obvious good intentions.
Jobtran was obviously very concerned about the name of the person in front of him; after all, the place they were in was called Umr City.
"Could it be that the city of Umr was named after this person?!"
Jobtran thought to himself.
"That's right, wise human. The first person who came here and saw me learned my name and brought my name to the earth."
The powerful being in front of him who called himself Umr waved his hand and said.
Jobtran was very shocked that Umr in front of him could actually read his thoughts.
"That's nothing to be surprised about, mortal. It's a pity you're not the one who carries the key, or my mission would be over."
Umr said something that left the two men confused.
"Silver Spoon. I have been waiting for the Silver Spoon to come."
