Little Albert held Veronica's hand and slowly walked into the cathedral which was already painted in an extremely solemn manner.
He looked up and saw the mural on the ceiling of Adam and God the Father reaching out their fingers and touching each other. He stared at it blankly.
In his little world, he did not understand the meaning behind this mural. He did not feel anything sacred but laughed innocently instead.
I don't know whether that innocent smile was used to mock the ignorance of the creator of the mural or to ridicule the act of personifying the holy light.
In his heart, how could the gods be described with simple words
How can ordinary mortals praise the existence of things beyond the sky
He didn't quite understand and just smiled faintly.
He stared at the slightly green apple in Adam's hand, the apple that symbolized original sin.
In the round little eyes, the apple doesn’t look sweet at all, but it has a luster that makes people want to take a bite.
“This is the scene where the Holy Light meets the first human, His creation Adam.”
Veronica bent down gently, tucked the hair that fell in front of her body behind her ears, gently let go of Albert's hand, rubbed his little head and explained.
Little Albert held his face with both hands, pushed his cheeks forward, pouted, and made a childish face.
At this moment, a voice with irresistible intimacy sounded in his little head.
"Come to me, and move forward."
Little Albert turned his head blankly and walked with his short legs towards the center where the broadcasting platform was placed.
Veronica did not make any other moves, but stood there, looking at little Albert with a doting smile.
"Nothing will happen in this church. Let the children play by themselves."
Veronica thought firmly.
Little Albert walked up trudgingly. The other faculty members just watched from a distance and thought they were just kids playing around so they let them play.
When he walked to the pulpit, he suddenly felt dizzy.
It seemed as if the sky and the earth were turned upside down and the world was spinning, but I was still standing in front of the pulpit.
This sudden moment of distraction made him hold his head in his hands sadly and squat on the ground.
"It may be a little uncomfortable, but it will be fine in a while."
That kind voice rang in his ears, and little Albert felt a cold hand gently touching his head, and the dizziness disappeared.
He looked around; the pulpit and the murals had all disappeared.
I seemed to be in a completely unfamiliar environment, surrounded by dark rocks and I could feel the damp wind on my skin.
He looked up and saw the owner of the hand.
He is God.
This thought immediately emerged from the bottom of my heart.
That is Umr, who has been waiting here for tens of millions, even hundreds of millions of years.
The gray veil beside him moved without wind, and he floated in the air without any support.
Although he couldn't see His face under the gray veil, little Albert could feel the joy in Him.
"Baby, I don't know you."
Little Albert bit his lip lightly and spoke in a childish voice.
He clasped his hands and stood with his feet in a splayed position, but he still turned his head and glanced at the god in front of him out of the corner of his eye.
“Well, it’s true that this is our first meeting in this reincarnation, but I’m familiar with you.
Albert Einstein.
I am a generous god and I can give you everything as long as you dare to ask.
What do you want, little one?"
Umr opened his hands, allowing little Albert to see that his hands were not human hands, but tentacles that looked like twisted dead branches.
Umr was very happy today and talked a lot.
Little Albert looked at Umr with some disbelief. He remembered that his parents had told him not to accept anything given by others casually.
Umr noticed the hesitation and vigilance in little Albert's eyes, and he chuckled.
Countless gold, silver and treasures appeared out of thin air in front of little Albert.
"These treasures are enough for your family to squander for ten lifetimes."
Umr said softly.
Although these treasures have unparalleled appeal to ordinary people and each of them sparkles with dazzling light, to little Albert, these things have no meaning other than looking good.
Little Albert shook his head and moved his legs which were numb from squatting.
"The lifespan that exceeds human limits
Grasp the power of the world?"
Umr asked with a chuckle as he waved his hand and made the treasure in front of him disappear.
Little Albert didn't understand what Umr was talking about. Longevity and power were too far away for him.
He thought about it, lowered his head, and sucked his thumb.
"I want that apple."
Umr was stunned when he heard this, and whispered to himself,
“It is still the case.”
This meeting was not the first time, and Umr knew it better than anyone else.
He soared into the air, looked at the void, looked at the silent universe, and sighed deeply.
"As you wish."
Umr said somewhat frustrated.
He took out from his pocket the forbidden fruit that he had prepared long ago, the apple picked from the Garden of Eden.
He held the apple, which still had its luster and sweetness, carefully in his hand.
He slowly floated in front of little Albert.
"At this time, I hand over the Silver Key to you."
When little Albert looked up, he saw Umr's true face behind the gray veil.
It is a void, a darkness, a place that human beings can never reach.
His existence is a part of the universe itself that has been cut off.
Countless pieces of information were instilled into little Albert's little head.
He saw some strange-looking creatures traveling in the interstellar space, and he saw some beings sleeping in the deep space. At the same time, those beings also looked back at him with curious eyes, as if they were surprised why such a low-level being as human beings would be in such a place.
Some of them are well-intentioned, some are malicious, and some are simply indifferent.
The malicious person glared at him, almost frightening him to death, and little Albert fell backwards.
Veronica caught little Albert steadily.
"Hey, where did you get that apple?"
It seemed as if no one knew about this amazing adventure, and as if it had never happened.
Apart from the tempting apple in hand, no one knew that this meeting would change the course of the world.
Little Albert remained silent. He just wiped the surface of the apple with his sleeve and took a bite.
The astringent taste lingered on his tongue, and he thought to himself,
“Not sweet.”
