(Don’t rush to scold me for updating today - Fat Wolf)

The mirror formed by Hohen's blood drop showed Aitina and Abel the forbidden tome - the Book of the Dead.

Aitina had no idea about this. She only took a glance at the Book of the Dead and felt the madness in it. She believed that if she opened the book herself, it would definitely have a very bad impact on her thinking and behavior.

As an insider, Abel took a quick glance and then stopped looking at the image in the mirror. Abel was so angry that he was shaking, because the Book of the Dead that Hohen deliberately showed him was an evil book that contained a large number of spells for summoning foreign gods.

Abel roared, "You should know that releasing the Outer Gods will destroy this world, why did you attract the Outer Gods' attention?!"

Hohen smiled and said, "Of course I know that the Outer Gods cannot be controlled, but it is different if I only steal a small part of their power."

Abel did not agree with Hohen's statement. He argued, "Even if it is just an incarnation of an Outer God, or even a projection, you cannot resist it."

Hohen said confidently, "Abel, based on your understanding of me, do you think I am someone who likes to take risks without being fully prepared?"

"Yes, you are cunning and insidious, and you are indeed undeniably cautious, but this time I think you are wrong. Because what you are doing is fighting against the world. Hohen, your power is indeed very strong, and mortals are like paper in front of you, but you still cannot fight against the whole world, just like Cain cannot fight against the holy light. This is a truth." Abel responded.

"Abel, you are still too pedantic. As long as there is enough capital, what ability does the world have to resist?"

After Hohen said this, he took back the drop of blood.

"If it was the complete original version of Al-Agif, I'm afraid even Cain wouldn't be able to handle it, but what I have is a fragment of the Latin translation by the monk Aulus Volmius in 1228. Although Pope Gregory IX of the Holy Light banned and destroyed most of the translations on the market in 1232, this one in the treasury of the Holy Roman Empire was not. It's a pity that it's a fragment, and all the scriptures about the powerful foreign gods of the Blind and Foolish God are lost, but I still found a useful spell. Isn't it very angry?"①

Before Abel could react,

Hohenzollern flew into the air at a speed invisible to the naked eye.

He quickly got behind Abel and took out his heart in an instant.

"No!" Adina cried.

"Cry more desperately, Miss Adina." Hohen said, holding Abel's still beating heart in his hand.

With his face covered in blood spurting from his chest, Abel turned around and spat out a mouthful of blood in Hall's direction.

"You won't succeed, Hohen," Abel said, and fell down.

Hohen took the heart in his hand and ate it in just three or two bites, just like biting an apple.

Adina collapsed on the ground, watching Hohen as he gnawed at Abel's heart bite by bite.

"For hundreds of years, I have split Abel for hundreds of years, just for this moment. Ah, the essence of his flesh and blood that he gave birth to for me is simply intoxicating."

Abel was split from Hohenzollern himself and represents his own benevolent alter ego.

And the remaining evil will make Hohen's power even purer.

At the same time, as Abel grew up, his power was hidden in his heart.

And now Abel is like a ripe fruit, plump and juicy, and the best supplement of strength for Hohen.

Hohen even began to understand why his ancestor Cain wanted to kill his relatives.

Hohen chewed the heart tissue with satisfaction, and with his mouth full of blood, he gave Adina a toothy smile.

"Don't worry, dear Miss Adina, you're next." Hohen said happily.

He opened his hand, grabbed Adina's wrist, and pulled her up from the ground with force.

Under Hohen's ruthless palm, Adina's wrist had been pinched red, and the fingerprints of Hohen were clearly left on her red skin, leaving white marks.

"Let me go!" Adina struggled, but the monstrous power of Hohenzollern was not something a young woman could resist.

"Do you know why I asked Abel to bring you back?"

Hohen continued,

"Not because of your pretty face, but because of your tortured soul. Do you know why you were chosen?"

Hohen, with a boastful look on his face, still held Adina's wrist with one hand and her chin with the other, looking at Adina with evil eyes.

"That's because your spiritual power is stronger than others, and after you've been tortured, your soul is the best sacrifice."

Adina felt like her jaw was about to be crushed by this man.

How she wished that Silas would jump out from somewhere and stab the devilish vampire in front of her to death with a sword.

Adina kept struggling and hit the back of Hohen's hand with the hand that was not pinched, but these small movements were insignificant to Hohen and had no effect at all.

Hohen ignored Adina's continuous attacks, changed from pinching her wrist to grabbing her hair, and walked forward towards the spiral staircase to the top floor.

Aitina already knew that her death was approaching, but she still did not give up the desire to live. She grabbed the railing beside the stairs, but Hohen snorted and pulled Aitina's proud long hair.

Her long hair was broken a lot by the pulling of both sides, but it gave her a glimmer of life.

Adina took out a pair of scissors that she had secretly hidden. She used them to practice embroidery and weaving.

She did not use scissors to attack Hohen because she knew it was impossible to kill Hohen with her own ability, so she used scissors to cut off her long hair which she had always maintained to be shiny and bright.

A head of golden hair fell to the ground, and Hohen felt his hand lighten, but Adina had already started running.

When Adina was about to run out of the long spiral staircase, a bloody phantom passed by her. When she came to her senses, Hohen was already standing in front of Adina with a grin on his face.

"Very smart, and very good at running. But where can you run to?"

After saying that, Hohen spilled a drop of blood from his finger, which turned into a blood cage and locked Aetina inside.

As he walked, he controlled the cage and brought Aitina to the door of the top floor.

Hohen hooked his finger and pulled out the key that Adina had hidden in her bra.

"Go! Go!" This time the kind voice appeared clearly in Adina's ears, but it was too late.

Hohen used his magic to manipulate the key and inserted it accurately into the keyhole. He gently turned the key and opened the door.

Inside the door is purgatory, inside the door is the abyss, inside the door is endless darkness.

Adina stretched out her hands in the cage of blood, grabbing towards the quiet corridor.

She seemed to see Silas' figure, but she could not catch anything.
