This book was uploaded from July 15th last year to September 15th this year, which is exactly one year and two months. During the writing period, I did not stop updating for a day. Thinking about it now, I admire my perseverance.
There are two main points that support this perseverance. The first point is that I really don’t want to give up halfway. When the subscription was not good, I planned to finish it with about 2 million words and complete the relevant provisions of the contract.
It's just that this is my first novel in my life. If it ends hastily like this, I feel that it will leave a lot of regrets, and my writing skills may not improve as much as I expected.
So no matter how difficult it is, I still keep updating. For a long time, the daily update has reached more than 10,000 words. I just want to force myself to maintain this energy. Once I relax, I may not be willing to write. .
The second point is that I see that many readers still support the author, and they also hope to see a more complete story. Although I cannot guarantee that my writing is complete, I hope to do my best.
To be honest, this ending is actually not the ending I wanted. In fact, there are still many things I want to write later, but if I continue writing, this book will be too long, and subsequent subscriptions will be even more bleak.
Although I did not complete the idea I expected, at least what should be said was said. It can be regarded as a more compromise ending among regrets. After all, the author is also an ordinary person, and it is already very good to be able to persist until now.
As for the last chapter involving psychic powers, I actually want to pave the way for the next part. The next part is no longer purely urban, and I will try not to write purely urban ones in the future.
I have designed many endings for this book, but in the end I couldn't write them due to various reasons. In the end, I chose this way of getting off the book as the ending. Although it is not perfect, it is a relatively reliable ending.
In fact, there are a lot of things that I wanted to write in this book but couldn't because I couldn't publish it. According to rough statistics, the number of 404 chapters in the book is as high as over 150,000 words.
I wrote this very carefully and tried not to write about particularly sensitive issues. However, I still received a 404. There are even some chapters where I don’t know why I received a 404. Is it because I am too stupid or is there some other problem
So although the next part is related to the city, it is not so close. It overlaps with the missions of the first part, but it is mainly another story, which can be regarded as urban supernatural or urban fantasy.
When I first wrote this book, I just wanted to write about some different cities. It turned out that I obviously thought too much. It's not that others didn't want to write, but that they were all smart people.
