"Master Xi, I said the wrong thing, please don't take it to heart. I know you are a good person with a tough mouth but a soft heart. You will definitely save Lu Xiaoxiang, right?" Qu Mo sent a sugar-coated bullet.

I looked at Wang Zijun who was full of doubts. I thought it would be fine for me to go over and help, but I was afraid that I would lose the clue of the old man. I rolled my eyes and thought of a plan. I said, "How about this, the ghost catcher on the train is in Longxingju now. You can bring him out to ask Master Liang for help. His ability is ten times better than mine."

"Okay, okay, I'll bring him out right away." Qu Mo hung up the phone hurriedly. From her tone, she must have thought that I was with the old guy named Liang.

Soon, I saw a group of people coming out of the inner door. There might be a private room inside. Qu Mo walked in front, and three male classmates followed closely behind, supporting Lu Xiaoxiang. She turned her head and looked around first, probably looking for me, but when she saw the old man named Liang sitting nearby, she went to him.

We were a little far away, and the restaurant was so noisy that we couldn't hear what they said. The old man surnamed Liang and the bald man looked at Lu Xiaoxiang for a few times, both with surprised expressions on their faces. The old man surnamed Liang stood up, and with his magical technique, he knocked out the ash from his pipe, put it in his mouth again, and blew a puff of smoke at Lu Xiaoxiang.

But unexpectedly, the smoke suddenly dispersed and floated in all directions. The old man's eyes suddenly bulged out, as if he had seen a terrible scene, and he let out a muffled "uh uh" sound from his throat! The pipe fell from his mouth and fell to the ground with a "thump". He covered his neck with both hands, his face flushed, and he looked very painful.

Everyone around him was shocked, the girls screamed, and the men, including the bald guy, were panicked and didn't know what to do. I couldn't help but stand up and rushed over.

Before I could even get close to him, the old man fell on his back with a thud onto the table behind him, overturning it and rolling to the ground. Plates, wine glasses, and tea bowls were scattered all over the floor.

One of Qu Mo's female classmates who was timid covered her mouth and screamed, "Someone's dead!"

This shout immediately caused an uproar in the restaurant. All the guests stood up and gathered over there.

I squeezed in and saw the bald man squatting on the ground, pressing the old man's chest to perform CPR, while shouting: "Lao Liang, Lao Liang, wake up..."

Qu Mo and the others stood there stupidly, not knowing what to do, but Lu Xiaoxiang, with a ferocious smile on his face, looked at the old guy on the ground and sneered, "Damn it, damn it!" No matter whether he was an evil spirit or a real person, he looked so disgusting that I really wanted to punch him a few times and make him blew blood in the face.

I lowered my head to look at the old man again. His eyes were gray and without any luster. The twisted muscles on his face were stiff and motionless. He looked lifeless. He must be dead! I thought to myself that the old man was very powerful. He couldn't be killed by the evil spirit that possessed Lu Xiaoxiang, right? Qu Mo saw me and quickly squeezed next to me, saying with horror in his eyes: "It seems that he was killed by a ghost!"

Many people heard this and some of them started shouting, which caused a chain reaction and everyone rushed out of the restaurant. For a moment, the huge restaurant hall was empty with only a few of us left. Even the waiter and their female classmates had disappeared without a trace.

The three male classmates who supported Lu Xiaoxiang did not run away, but seeing how they were trembling all over, they were obviously scared. They probably held on because they did not want to lose face in front of the female classmates.

The old guy was already dead, so I stopped paying attention to him and looked at Lu Xiaoxiang and asked, "When will you die?"

"Hehehe... I will die tomorrow!"

This creepy and weird laughter was even more damn sinister than the music in horror movies. My heart was shaking with laughter. The three classmates who were supporting him were so scared that their faces turned pale and they all sat down on the ground.
