I have always believed that it is a natural thing for a couple to do things. Even if there is no poisoning like that of a group of classmates in school, those who have heard about the world around them should know how to do it. For example, I am a gifted person, but my first time was not with Yinling, but with Pei'er. If I had faced Yinling for the first time, there might have been some obstacles.
But since he is an official, he should have been exposed to the world of officialdom. I am almost 20 years old, and I have been married for many years. Except for the first few years, there were indeed male development reasons. In order to show my great respect for His Majesty, I have been forbidden to have sex for seven years since I was 13 years old. This is not only a problem of losing a lot of fun in life. Thinking of this, I have to look around carefully. If Yinling sees my expression at this moment, I am afraid she will be scolded.
Yinling wasn't with me. A moment ago, Yiren sent me out in a happy tone to think of a solution, so as not to disturb her nap.
The thief asked if we should simulate the scene together so that we could have first-hand teaching materials. After all, we hadn't done it for many days, and we were afraid that we would be unfamiliar with it and miss some important steps. Yinling yawned and shook her head, and after yawning, she smiled and hummed: Big pervert baby.
After kissing Yinling, who had already fallen asleep with her eyes closed, he could only go out alone to think about it.
This matter is not suitable to be discussed with others, it really makes me feel suffocated.
My father returned from the evacuation and was wandering around the yard like me. We met unexpectedly in the backyard garden. My father seemed to be worried that day, so I asked him what he was thinking about. He shook his head and didn't answer. My father saw that I was also worried, so he also asked me what I was worried about, but I also lowered my head and didn't say anything.
Finally, my father and I walked to the corridor and sat down together. We were not far apart, but each of us had our own thoughts.
I was feeling annoyed and decided to change the subject. I brought up something I had forgotten about.
"What happened to the tomb robbery that County Magistrate Wei reported to me last time?"
"Well, Lord Sima Fang handled it in time and responded appropriately. He set a trap at Changmen Pavilion and caught all the thieves." My father answered casually. I thought that maybe what my father was worried about was related to this matter. I just knew that if I was thinking about something, I would often hesitate and not be able to complete the sentence when mentioning other things. My father was thinking hard, but he answered so quickly, there must be something wrong.
"Is your father worried about this, too?"
"Oh, you have guessed what I am thinking?" My father was not surprised. "This matter is a bit troublesome. Your Majesty has known about it, but I have not yet figured out how to deal with it."
"I have heard many rumors among the people. I wonder if they are true or false?" I quickly lowered my voice, "Back then, you and your uncle went out with two children, one of them was me, and the other was the eldest prince born to Queen He."
"Zirui, where did you hear this?" My father became nervous, frowned, looked around, and leaned slightly towards me.
"It seems that this rumor has been circulating in Chencang's wine shop for quite some time, and it has spread widely."
"This is not good." The father was a little flustered and pressed his fists hard on his knees.
"That day, when I heard that there was another person's body in the tomb, I was very panicked. But as I was about to go to the battlefield, I put it aside. Later, when I heard about this matter in the Chencang Tavern, I figured it out. If this is true, then it means that what I thought was right, and there would be no surprises." I suddenly felt relaxed, and I felt that everything in front of me was suddenly clear.
"Don't mess with your own grave or anything like that, it's unlucky." Father seemed to be relieved, and then he suddenly thought of this question: "The rumor is true, the one who died was the prince. Although he was sent out of the palace, he was already infected with an evil spirit and eventually died. After He Shi received a letter, she sent someone to ask about it. I was afraid that she would be too sad, so I made up a story. Besides, on that day, all the people accompanying her thought that my son She died. Your mother missed you and was afraid that you really died and had no one to rely on in the underworld, so she offered sacrifices to you every year. Uh, bah, bah, that doesn't count. In order to keep the emperor and the queen in mind, I reported it to the emperor. In order to avoid being hunted down by the Song family, my brother and I discussed sending someone to send him out during that trip, but Since then, there has been no news. However, there is a mole on the back of the child's neck, so maybe he can be found someday. On that day, only your mother and I knew about this. The one in the fake Shen family tomb facing east is the real prince. We have been loyal to your majesty, just to let the child face the direction of his parents and make the fake grave face east. We also buried all the things given by the emperor and the empress in this tomb as burial objects. It's a pity that I didn't treat those craftsmen badly. You must know that some feudal states often killed craftsmen as sacrifices to keep the secrets of the funeral. I treated them well and sent them back, but why did these people still have greed. This matter has been leaked and your majesty knows about it. How can I explain it? It really gives me a headache."
"Unfortunately, it is precisely because of this that those who are curious often mistake me for the missing prince."
"Oh, yes, I lived among the four regents in the past. Well, let's not talk about it. What worries me now is that if I continue to lie to His Majesty and leave them with something to think about, then the tomb will exceed the regulations, which will give some people a reason to criticize me and there will be articles in the future. If I tell the truth, my answers will be inconsistent, which will deceive the emperor. I really shouldn't have been soft-hearted and lied about this." My father sighed and pressed his hand on the side of his head: "But it doesn't matter. I can't cover it up, so I'll tell the truth and ask for His Majesty's forgiveness. Anyway, the current emperor is not childless now. It's been so many years."
"Father, don't worry. If this matter is reported to the emperor and he questions you, you can do it on purpose to hide it from the Song family."
"Silly son, all these gifts were bestowed after the Song family was destroyed and Empress He took control of the harem. There is a sequence of events, so how can you not distinguish between the past and the present?" My father didn't realize that I had figured out a solution.
“After experiencing two disasters, all the party members should have been wiped out, but there are still people like us alive. The Queen Song’s family is powerful and wealthy, how can they be destroyed so easily? The thief Zhuo was suppressed in Xichuan, and the Dong family was also raided, but they were still able to mobilize hundreds of people in the mountains to ambush us.” I started laughing.
"That's not the real Dong family... Oh, oh dear, I suddenly understood, and I was delighted: "Since Dong can replace Yuan, then what's wrong with Song Dynasty's Weiming? This is a great plan to replace Tao Jiang with Li. I would like to hear more about it."
"The remnants of the Song family cannot take revenge on the emperor, but they can still find the bad luck of losing the prince outside. After all, it was you who sent him out, so they will naturally ask for information from the upper gate. You buried the reward in the tomb, and moved the tomb away from the ancestral tomb. You buried the reward as a burial object with great fanfare, and then let all the craftsmen go. This was to hide the eyes and ears of these thieves, to show that the prince was dead, and to stop these people's evil thoughts. Just in case, you also ordered people to guard the tomb day and night, so that the tomb has been worry-free for twenty years; but I didn't expect that these night guards would dig up the tomb to verify whether there are infant bones in the tomb while Your Majesty is back safe."
The father suddenly understood, but then he changed his mind and said, "But if that's the case... then none of the thieves will survive."
"If a person has an evil intention for twenty years, what's the point of keeping him in the world?" After saying this, I also felt that I was cruel enough.
"Alright, Zirui is right." My father happily supported my shoulders and stood up. "I feel much better now. But, Zirui, have you figured out how to deal with that incompetent official?"
"Hey, father, you know this too?" I scratched my head in embarrassment, "How did you know this?"
"It's your mother. These old ladies just love to talk about these things... When I first met your mother, she didn't talk about these things. But after she married me, even when she was still a girl, I heard these things. It's been more than 20 years." My father stood up happily: "Well, Zirui can be so clever in such a big thing, so that... thing, there shouldn't be any problem, right?"
"No, Zhizheng doesn't know how to start. Does father have any good ideas?" In fact, it seemed that I had suddenly thought of something. However, when I heard my father mention the joy of my mother when she was young, I couldn't help but think of my parents when they were young. I suddenly felt very yearning. What would happen if I could really grow up with my parents
"I am older than your mother, so I never had this problem. You were born soon. What can I do? But... I will give you some medicine. If you really have no other options, you can give it to him." My father approached me mysteriously, his voice getting lower and lower: "At first, His Majesty was worried that you would have no offspring. He was afraid that you would not be able to handle this, so he gave me some medicine and asked me to give it to you... It was the kind of incest drug. Your Majesty took it when he was a teenager, and now you have the eldest princess and the eldest prince..."
"Oh, there is one more thing." My father suddenly frowned. "If this explanation is true, there is a loophole - the eldest prince may still be alive in the world, but we don't know where he is, and we can't prove whether he is alive or dead. If someone with ulterior motives puts forward a person and fabricates some evidence, he is the one, and uses him to cause chaos in the world, what do you think? When Your Majesty learned about this from the Queen, he was also afraid of this danger, so he didn't dare to order people to search for the eldest prince in many ways."
"Don't be afraid, father. The rumors are spreading all over the world, saying that I am the son. Since I do not deny the truth, no one in the world can argue with me. Besides, the crown prince has been decided, so the thieves have no chance to take advantage of it. I have already established myself as the master."
"I've heard that, too, but... Oh, I hope it's true as Zirui said." The father breathed a sigh of relief, then smiled strangely and said, "Do you want the medicine, my son?"
"Just take it there for now. If I really have no words to say, I'll give it to him." He was thinking in his heart: I won't suffer any loss if I take it anyway.
I got a box of white pills and a box of red pills. My father also explained how to use it: Take the white pills during the day to be energetic; take the red pills at night to have endurance; take one pill at a time, and a maximum of three days is a course of medicine. Although this medicine is good, don't be greedy. It is produced by the palace eunuchs and specially supplied by His Majesty.
Holding these two boxes of medicine, I didn't know where to go. I had to go back to my room first. Before I reached the door, I heard two pregnant women talking about their pregnancy experiences. One of them especially loved talking about how happy she felt when she was angry with her husband recently and her husband didn't dare to disobey her.
I could listen to the beginning, but the end was too evil and I had to hide in the meeting room. Holding the two boxes of annoying pills in my hands, I felt more and more guilty the more I looked at them, and I almost wanted to pull open the floorboards and stay in the secret room.
Finally, he saw Yinling sending Mrs. Jiang away, and quickly slipped back to his room to hide the pills first.
Yinling followed back immediately and bolted the door.
"What, where did you go?" Yiren seemed to be still in the mood just now, but her tone was not good: "Can't eavesdrop anymore? I heard your footsteps, so I did that to her on purpose. Then I couldn't listen anymore, so where did you go? What were you doing sneakily just now?"
This series of questions was quite sharp. I spent quite a lot of time to explain. Some of them were able to answer, some were not, some were suitable, some were not suitable, and of course some were available and some were not.
But I did tell the truth about the two medicine boxes.
Yinling blushed and came close to me: Do you really want it
I don’t know if my face was blushing: I want it, I haven’t had it for a long time.
We got closer and closer, especially our lips touching each other very early on. It was as if we wanted something, but there was nothing.
To be clear, I didn't take any medication.
And it must be stated that I can successfully complete the therapeutic effect of the medicine.
After dinner in the evening, my father took me out and asked me if I had taken the medicine.
I answered honestly that I had not, and asked my father why he asked that question.
My father said that he had passed by my house and that the windows were not soundproofed well.
Both father and son were silent for a moment.
Or is it that the father is too impatient to ask first? Or is it harmful to the fetus
The father needs to be explained in detail: "Yinling told me: "Madam Jiang told me: "Zishe told me: "The imperial physician replied: "At this time, do not do anything too much, do not squeeze the woman's belly, and there will be no harm." """"""" (Note: This does not conform to the rules of punctuation marks, the author did it intentionally)
The next morning, feeling refreshed, he saw the woman beside him still sleeping soundly, so he quietly got up and went out. Now it was really unlikely that he would wake her up.
He went to the backyard to practice weaponry and felt refreshed, then went to the stable to get the horse.
I led my horse out of the palace through the side gate, and saw a young official standing at the gate, not looking sideways, not moving at all, standing silently and respectfully in front of a carriage at the side of the gate. Seeing that he was wearing the uniform of an official of the Shangshutai, I thought that he might be waiting for my father to go to the Shangshutai. So I went forward to greet him and asked if I needed to go and report to my father.
When he saw me, he seemed a little nervous. He suddenly saluted and bowed. Then he stood up again. His voice was quite loud at first, but it got louder and louder. He said, "I wonder if Lord Yue has any free time. I hope you can give me a moment to consult me on something."
I was shocked, this happened too fast, but I had to remain calm. I had no choice but to tie the horse to the post and stretched out my hand to ask: Come with me.
There is also a back garden deep in my house, with a pavilion in it. It is spacious, with insects buzzing in my ears, birds chirping in the yard, and chickens crowing in the distance. Since people may eavesdrop on me from outside if I stay in the house, it is better to find an open place to prevent people from around.
I was thinking about how to deal with it, but I didn't know what to do. I still thought it would happen naturally, so there was no reason why it wouldn't happen. I could only take it one step at a time.
"What's the difficulty? Please tell me." I tried to keep my voice low.
"I married my wife when I was six years old. She was already fourteen. Moreover, I was brought up since she was young. I was afraid that I would be lazy, so I was disciplined very strictly." The official's voice was even more subtle. If I didn't have very good hearing, I would not be able to hear it clearly: "If my wife looks at me, I dare not look back; if she speaks, I dare not reply; if she points or gestures, I dare not move at all. When we have sex, I hear my wife trembling with fear when she hears the sound. How can I succeed? What can I do?"
I felt pity for her and said, "Poor kid, my wife was too strict in her upbringing. In comparison, Yinling is really gentle, and I am the one who has been spoiled."
"What should I do..." I pondered for a moment, and suddenly came up with a plan: "The doctor said: Give the right medicine for the right condition. But please don't look at me, don't talk to me, and don't move your hands or feet without permission."
"how?"
"You can ask your wife to cover her eyes with a cloth and hold a gag in her mouth, and then you can use soft silk to lightly tie her hands and feet and tie them to the bed..." He suddenly paused, thinking for a moment, and felt that this method was very naughty and should not be told to others. Suddenly he remembered that on the first night with the two ladies, he still needed to teach them some common sense: "If it is the first time, you need to be gentle with your wife, and if you see blood, don't be too excessive. This matter needs to be moderate. In the future, when you are not afraid of the ladies, you don't need to use this method."
"If it doesn't work tonight, take a day off tomorrow. I have other options." Naturally, if it doesn't work, I'll give him medicine. If it still doesn't work, I'll have no other options. Maybe I can only ask Yin Ling to come out again and persuade this lady to stay at home and calm down.
I felt quite relieved after sending him away. I went out for a walk, visited the people outside the city, asked about their food and drink, and then returned to the city in high spirits.
After returning home, I found Sister Ren. Naturally, she first thanked me for my help. I was also very relieved to hear her mention that she would be escorted back to Qin by the servants of the Marquis of Qin's mansion soon. But Sister Ren still had something on her mind. From what she said that day, she could identify the rude person in Shanglin Garden that day. However, since my adoptive father was not there, she didn't know what to do, so she came to find me.
I frowned and said: Master Taichang hasn't returned yet
Suddenly he blamed himself: It was all my fault that I took the initiative to give him a holiday. I'm afraid this old naughty boy is not playing well out in the field and won't come back for a while.
"No problem, I'll go and make them uncomfortable." He was in a good mood, so he went to the palace to make a scene. Suddenly, he remembered what he had said to Brother Zhongdao that day, and he felt that the people of the East Palace also needed to be checked.
Before she could leave, she was stopped by Brother Zhongdao who came rushing over: "I don't know why the teacher hasn't returned yet. But how can we delay the lectures at the Imperial College? Hey, Sister Ren, how did you get here?"
The two of them were chatting with each other, but I sighed: These father and daughter are having fun.
"Oh, it's alright, I'll go find someone to teach me. If that doesn't work, I'll go to the Imperial College to teach military tactics to the students for a few days." I must admit that I got carried away, too relaxed, and spoke without thinking about the consequences. All in all, I was just worried that Brother Zhongdao would prevent me from finding someone to teach me.
Brother Zhongdao was quite happy to be persuaded by me to leave. I don't know if I fooled him or he had been dizzy for a long time. His carriage circled the door for several times before getting on the right road, and it was not going to the Imperial College or the Imperial Household. Just as I was about to tease her, Sister Ren interrupted and said, "Am I going this way?"
I finally calmed down and said: It seems that something needs to be changed.
I put on a hat and changed into a guard's uniform, and took Song, Yuan, Ge Liang and others who were dressed in the same way to enter the palace with me.
The guard at the gate was not doing his job, he didn't even check me, and just let my followers follow me in at my command. I admit that I was too happy, I was so proud of myself that I lost some of the rules.
But today, I was meant to be a treacherous official.
How to be a good treacherous minister is a profound knowledge.
For example, you need to establish a good relationship with His Majesty first.
I found an excuse to pay a visit to my adoptive father and mother today, as I had to go south to quell the rebellion, and I was reluctant to leave.
However, His Majesty suspected that it was because Yinling was pregnant and that he was actually driven out by his wife.
I asked, Your Majesty, why do you think so
Your Majesty sneered and said: Your mother has also been pregnant several times; during that period, even I was trembling with fear and treading on thin ice for a few days.
The Queen did not take the opportunity to attack. However, when I stole a glance at my stepmother, she seemed to be looking at me reluctantly, not noticing the "inappropriate" words of her husband next to her.
I have something to say today. The ambush of the prince and princess in Shangsi Mountain is really shocking. It shows that Dong's influence is still remnant in the court. I am afraid that there will be changes in the future. I want to ask the officials of the Crown Prince in the East Palace and the officials in the Palace of the Imperial Guard. There are many new people in these two places, and it is a place where treacherous people can take advantage of opportunities. If there is any doubt, I will report it to the emperor first. The emperor can order people to monitor them first so that they can't cause any trouble, and then send them far away to be safe.
Why not capture and interrogate him
I am afraid that the people he relies on will become desperate and endanger the palace and the city. This time, I have brought four guards with me to prevent him from rising up. If we take our time, he will not be able to use his strength to commit crimes if he fails. Besides, the world has just been settled, and there should be no more disturbances in the imperial city.
Your Majesty is obviously still a little frightened, and after hearing my alarmist words again, he is even more restless. After all, the disaster in the villa in Shanglin Mountain was really serious, and the emperor was not far from the foot of the mountain at that time. After my tinkering, Your Majesty must suspect that there may be treacherous people around him, and it is not an isolated case.
In fact, this will help me to determine whether I am a treacherous minister and reflect on myself. What happened today is a reckless act that confuses the emperor's ears.
I was tired of talking to people behind the curtain, and I guess the new officials or palace officials who were entering the room were also tired. I chatted until the sun was setting, asking about their names, ages, handwriting, and whether they had any special skills.
Just as Brother Zhongdao said in the Imperial College that day, among those vicious and rude guys, three of them followed the prince. Although they were not high-ranking officials, they were able to serve the prince.
There are still two people in the Lang Office, but when the Langzhong Ling was asked about these two people "intentionally or unintentionally", it seemed that he mentioned that they would also be assigned to the Sili Xiaowei to manage the order here. Interestingly, the three who followed the prince spoke Luoyang Mandarin, but these two had Qingzhou accents.
Sister Ren’s ears are really a treasure. If there is such a person in my Yue country, he can remember past figures after just hearing one sentence, and it will be easier to do some mysterious things.
However, in the end I promoted more than a dozen people, but when it came to these five people, I told the truth. They had once confronted me with weapons in the Imperial College, but I quickly resigned without understanding the reason.
The other few people, however, suggested that they could be transferred to certain places. These were discussed by Song and Ge Liang in the back.
"As for those who are worthy of suspicion, it seems that there is no one for the time being. The imperial city should have been safe long ago. I am worried too much and disturbed the peace of my father, the emperor and my mother. It is really a mistake of wisdom."
The reasons for the occasion and the things you want to accomplish do not need to be the same. Zhi has known the ups and downs of officialdom. But sometimes, you need some luck, but to be honest, my luck has been good most of the time. For example, Yinling and Pei'er were both cheap to me; for example, this time.
Your Majesty, however, was suspicious of the behavior of the five rude people and thought about what happened in the mountains that day. The Queen sent a letter to the Northeast Chief Secretary's Mansion and wrote a letter on behalf of her mother, handing it over to your uncle for disposal.
I was overjoyed. Your Majesty thought of this without my reminder. That was great. Old Lady He even thought of this solution. It really made me want to call her my mother more often.
"Taichang Cai has not returned yet. I heard that it was your contribution?" His Majesty suddenly put on an inexplicable smile.
I, your son, was in a good mood and granted the nine ministers a day off without authorization. I am guilty of this.
No problem, the Doctor of the Imperial Academy came to report the cause of all the events before you came to see me this morning. Then I will grant your wish and you can teach me the art of war for a few days. I am also very interested, and I will go to listen when the time comes.
Your Majesty is making fun of me, so how dare I teach you any military tactics
Isn't it you and the doctor who is in charge of the priest
It's strange, I thought only Yinling had this hobby, why does the Doctor Jijiu always try to trick me like this, trying to find things I can't remember to persuade me.
However, it is difficult to disobey the emperor's order, and today's goal has been achieved. In order to prevent His Majesty from changing his mind, I have to grit my teeth and accept it, and try to please him.
He came out and went home with everyone who was exhausted. Along the way, he denounced this matter and put Brother Zhongdao in the category of greedy ministers.
Sister Ren finally couldn't help it: That's really yours...
"How could I be so unlucky?" I also began to doubt myself, wondering if I was too excited that morning and had lost my mind.
Sister Ren nodded her head in a snicker, and the remaining three bird thieves actually nodded in agreement.
I should have brought a gun, at least it could serve as a warning to others.
In order to avoid any new sparks from the conversation, I changed the subject and asked how the children in my house were doing these days. The answer was that the old lady had invited a few wet nurses to wait in the house, and they were very well-behaved and didn't make much noise at night.
I was so exhausted that day that I fell asleep on the couch before Yinling came back.
I got up early the next morning, but Yinling was not around. I wondered if she had come back to stay last night.
When he opened the window, he could hear the whispers of women coming from the opposite room. Among them were Yinling and another woman.
Before I could hear what they were saying, I heard footsteps coming out. I was afraid that Yinling would think I was eavesdropping, so I quickly closed the window and went back to the couch to pretend to sleep.
After a while, Yinling pushed the door open and I pretended to just wake up: Ling'er, why did you get up so early? How's your appetite today? Come over to your husband.
When Yiren saw me awake, she smiled happily and said: "How did Zirui teach you? Sister, you succeeded, and I came here to express my gratitude." But her face was very strange, and when I mentioned how she succeeded, she shyly pushed it away.
I reported the truth, but pretended to be still a little confused. If I saw that things were not going well, I would continue to play dead.
"Only you dare to think and teach like this." Yin Ling gritted her teeth, "But it is the right treatment."
"I'm glad you're not angry. I can't help it. I'm glad you're not angry." I smiled and quickly turned over. Suddenly I saw Yin Ling's surprised and slightly unfriendly eyes: "Do you have any objection to me pretending to sleep..."
The air is cold.
"Can I continue to pretend to sleep?"
"Show me how to pretend." His tone was quite cold.
I quickly turned my back to her and lay down on the couch in an exaggerated manner, pretending to be dead.
Yiren was amused by me and slapped me on the butt: "Get up, baby miracle doctor."
"Didn't you feel reluctant to fight?" He grumbled deliberately in dissatisfaction as he got up.
"You are reluctant to hit me, or else I will go crazy?" Yin Ling pretended to be in deep thought: "I need to discuss this matter with Sister Pei."
I decided to continue lying down and pretending to be dead.
Yiren smiled widely, stroked his back and whispered softly, "Get up, you have to go to the Imperial College to give a lecture today."
"Are you kidding?" I was startled and quickly sat up and looked at Yinling.
"No." Yiren smiled earnestly and answered, "The Doctor sent someone to deliver a letter last night. The Imperial College's carriage will arrive at about three quarters past noon."
"Save me Yinling." I tried to open my eyes wide and look helpless.
The woman pretended to be a wise woman, closed her eyes and shook her head, saying: "The evils sent by heaven can be avoided; the evils you have committed cannot be escaped." (Note: This sentence is quoted from "Gongsun Chou Shang" in "Mencius" from the "Taijia" chapter in "Shangshu": The evils sent by heaven can be avoided; the evils you have committed cannot be escaped. There are some discrepancies between the words in this sentence in the existing "Shangshu" and the passage in "Mencius". Some of the latest published versions have changed the words based on the quotations from "Mencius" and Ying Shao's articles in the Eastern Han Dynasty. In addition, there are also new archaeological advances in the original "Shangshu". I hope that the original "Shangshu" will be published and related research results will be released in a while.)
"Can you come with me?"
"I want to stay at home with Yan'er or Miao'er. My husband, take care." Yiren leaned on the couch very comfortably, holding her belly: "Yan'er or Miao'er, say goodbye to your father."
"You can accompany Yan'er and Miao'er if you come with me."
"I also have to go and see Yixin, Yiyi and Xueqing."
"Mother hired several wet nurses, and they have been very well behaved these days." I even began to imitate the Vietnamese accent that she spoke from time to time.
"But it's so noisy there, it will scare Yan'er or Miao'er." Yiren remained unmoved.
"No, from what I've said, those students are all scholars and won't make any noise. They shouldn't scare Yan'er and Miao'er."
"Oh, oh, oh, you are wrong. Those students are very smart, so don't say anything wrong. Otherwise, you will be corrected on the spot, and that would be embarrassing." Yiren shook her head and waved her fingers in disdain.
"And how did you know that?"
"We women are well-informed."
I lowered my head dejectedly to show that I understood.
"Yan'er and Miao'er, please ask your mother to help your father put on formal clothes." Since he is going to die, he should at least dress properly and behave like a gentleman.
Yiren helped me clean up with a smile, but in the end she didn't have the conscience to follow me.
He sat in front of the hall for what seemed like a long time, motionless, looking at the empty front door.
I was actually very nervous, thinking about what to say today. I was going to the Imperial Academy to teach military tactics. How could I be so stupid as to say something like that? Was it really mine at that time? Suddenly, a bunch of people who deserved to be beaten appeared in my mind, pointing at me and saying: You
Suddenly, I saw a carriage passing by the main gate, and I jumped up. Unexpectedly, a fat figure jumped out of the carriage. It was my father, so I had to go out to greet him. My father also rushed in. He looked up and saw me approaching. Just as he was about to say something, he grabbed my hand and went to the corridor beside the door: "Zi Rui, did you give your uncle Cai a holiday without your permission? And you want to teach the art of war to the students in the Imperial College?"
I seemed to think about it for a long time, but it seemed like only a moment. The answer was simple and I nodded.
The father took a breath and said: You bastard... are you ready
I hesitated again, shaking my head.
My father took another breath and covered his chest with his hand. "I just found out about this after meeting His Majesty. Oh, you are really promising. Do you know where you are going? The Imperial Academy is where the best students in the world gather. You have never taught before, how dare you take on this job? Since Cai Taichang took over the Imperial Academy again, the atmosphere of the Imperial Academy has been renewed, and it has become common for teachers and students to debate freely in the academy. Wei Jijiu can be said to be the most outstanding student in the Imperial Academy in recent years. His attainments in classics can be said to be profound, but he is often criticized for omissions in his lectures on classics. When he talked about this with me, he said that he was trembling with fear as if walking on thin ice. Although you teach the art of war, which is not one of the six arts taught in the academy. However, there are many people in the Imperial Academy who are proficient in the art of war of various schools, and there are many descendants of generals who have experienced hundreds of battles."
My father was furious, but when he found that I had been listening quietly, he stopped talking and helped me straighten my clothes. "You are still very energetic. Hey, your teacher and I, we shouldn't go, leaving you without support. If the students below are too rebellious and sharp, you might be able to outwit them. Then I won't go. His Majesty may go. You can handle it yourself. Having a son like you will shorten my life."
Not long after the morning hour, I boarded the Imperial College bus. They arrived early, and I had no reason to stay home.
This is my second time at the Imperial College, but the first time I came during the day. The stone tablet with the inscription of "**" written by Uncle Cai still stands in the middle, and there are still few people around. Unlike the last time when I came earlier, I should be late this time, and I can already hear the sound of students reciting. Brother Zhongdao seems to have been waiting for me for a long time. He is obviously not very confident about his students: Brother Zirui, since the teacher took charge of the Imperial College, the Imperial College has been too lax. If you think some students are too rude, you can scold them and kick them out. I will be behind the curtain beside the hall. If there is anything difficult to suppress, you only need to knock on the table with a note, and I will come out.
I was led in all the way until I reached the noisy hall. I pushed the door open and entered. The noise stopped. Suddenly, all eyes were focused on the students. They were full of vigor and vitality. But they must be a difficult group to get along with. The Party Banishment incident in the past was initially triggered by this group of students. (Note: This is a historical fact) However, if I hadn't experienced so many things, I would have been the same as them.
Ignore the discussions on both sides and just walk forward respectfully as you would do when attending court.
The students of the Imperial College tapped the mats with bamboo slips, as if they were clapping their hands together. A guide nearby whispered, “This is the Imperial College students’ respectful welcome.”
This sound, in sync with my steps, ended at the teaching chair.
Before sitting down, he bowed deeply and the students returned the greeting.
"Zhijin is very lucky to meet the proud son of the Han family." I said loudly: "To be able to come this far is the third joy." (Note: The allusion comes from "Mencius: The Doctrine of the Mean, Part One". Parents are both alive and brothers are well. This is the first joy; looking up without shame to the heavens and looking down without shame to the earth is the second joy; getting the world's talents and educating them is the third joy. Zirui knew this allusion, but was afraid of making a fool of himself by reciting it incorrectly, and wanted to flatter the students, so he directly quoted the three joys. I dare not say more, and the readers may despise it.)
After finishing speaking, he bowed respectfully again.
All the sentient beings returned the greeting with great respect.
This hall is very large, but its design is very ingenious. When I speak in the classroom, I can hear my voice echoing in all directions. This is probably because the teacher and students can hear each other.
I asked the attendant leading me softly: Your Majesty is coming, is there a decree that all of you should wait with me for Your Majesty? Or should I start first
"I don't know that." The follower said in panic.
"Then go ahead and tell me."
I am not afraid of such a crowded scene. In the mountains of Zigui, I have faced tens of thousands of refugees; in Yue State, I had to look down at the frowning generals below every day; in Pingle Pavilion, I have faced dozens of chattering girls. Especially the last one, I suddenly feel that any big scene is no problem for me.
“War is a matter of great importance to a state.” This is how I started.
Suddenly, a person appeared in front of me and bowed down to me, with his head resting on his hands and the mat.
"What's up?" I thought he was looking for trouble, but I was very polite and leaned slightly towards him to show my concern. But he was looking for trouble so early, which made me feel relieved. And I didn't think there was anything wrong with this first sentence.
"Why do we teach the art of war in the Imperial Academy?" I knew he was looking for trouble. I didn't say it before I started, and when everyone was silent, he suddenly said this. My real answer is actually very simple, but it can't be said: I let it slip when I was excited, and someone forced me to say it.
"Because there are still turmoil in the world today, it will take several years to calm down. This spring, we fought two battles. In the Chencang battle, there were hundreds of thousands of bandits, and we only had a thousand; in the Taiyi Mountain battle, the other side had more than a hundred, and we had less than fifty, and there were still princes and princesses to be protected, and palace maids and eunuchs to be guarded. These two turmoils came without any signs and were sudden. In addition to these, there is still the traitor Dong in Shu, and the remnants of the rebels are entrenched in various places in the world. What we did were all the most important things at the time. Confucius said: A gentleman is not a tool. You think that when there is a turmoil in the world, you will blame the matter on the rough soldiers. You only need to sit in the court and watch the turmoil develop, and you don't have to learn." This season is the most clear-headed time for me.
"Why not use culture and education to bring peace to the world, so that the world will be peaceful and no longer in turmoil? This is the right way. Weapons are tools of unknown use." This man is indeed young, and although he speaks with confidence, he has deviated from his original purpose. He has no way to refute my explanation, but he has started a new war. Little did he know that I did not mention that the chaos is divided into internal and external, which means that he was waiting for him to fall into it unconsciously.
"Since the Spring and Autumn Period, China has had the rebellion of the Northern Barbarians. This disaster was at its peak during the reigns of Emperor Wen and Emperor Jing. Although Emperor Xiaowu conquered it, we still needed to be on guard during the restoration of Emperor Guangwu. Let me ask, was the world at peace during the reigns of Emperor Wen, Emperor Jing, and Emperor Guangwu, or was it not?" He knew it was inconvenient to continue, so he could only bow and stop asking, but his expression was still very unconvinced.
"The strategy I am arguing with you is the art of war. Tao has its own principles. What I do is to make myself invincible. Using the former Emperor Wen and Jing as an excuse, you should not criticize the former emperor. This will allow me to have no worries and be invincible, while you will be faced with the dilemma of not knowing where to start." I first made excuses for him, which made all the students laugh. He also smiled, and his expression looked better.
Suddenly, another person bowed. This student was indeed not easy to mess with.
"What's the matter?"
"In the past, Zigong was sent as an envoy. He saved Lu, disturbed Qi, strengthened Jin, weakened Chu, destroyed Wu, and dominated Yue. The words of one person changed the situation of the world. How important is the art of war and the saints?" (Note: There is a book "Zigong's Mission" written by Mr. ycrc, which organizes the whole context in great detail. You don't need to read the ancient text. If you are interested, you can take a look)
"If Lu had no army, it would have been destroyed by Qi long ago; Jin had no army and was eventually divided among the princes. The way of civil and military affairs must be prepared together. Without soldiers, how could the world finally be unified by the tyrannical Qin and later replaced by our dynasty? Was it done by strategists alone? In peacetime, civil affairs are valued, and military affairs are used to assist in preparation; in times of chaos, military affairs are respected, and civil affairs are used to help in clarifying virtue. Without soldiers at the gates of the city, why did the enemy on the city surrender? Before Emperor Gaozu entered the pass, which great man had persuaded the Emperor of Qin to abdicate in Xianyang? Today, there is chaos in the world, and the theory of the world should be learned, and the art of war should also be known. Soldiers are ominous tools. When there is a war, corpses are piled up for hundreds of miles and blood flows like a river. Gentlemen should stay away from them. However, since the battle between Emperor Huangdi and Chiyou written by Sima Qian, for thousands of years, there have been internal and external chaos in the world, and the work of quelling the chaos must be done by someone. Ask the people who were slaughtered, and the people How can the sons of the Han family stand aside and watch the exiles? Zhi is just a crude man, not a gentleman, but he still has the wish to support the orthodoxy, save the people, and rectify the country. Even in the face of life and death, he will not change his mind, let alone poverty, wealth, honor and disgrace? If you don't do this, Zhi and the generals will do this, so that you don't have to worry about this. But if you learn it, practice it, and master it, you may be able to protect the people of one side and the country in the future, and you can also seek the merit of being a marquis. Isn't it the best of both worlds? Why should we refuse to fight thousands of miles away, especially when it concerns the country and the people. Don't let the people of the world laugh at us in the chaos: That gentleman does not eat vegetarian food. Or the meat eater is vulgar and not worth discussing with. "The more I read, the more comfortable I felt. My words were as fluent as flowing water, and I could even suppress many of my thoughts, just because I felt the danger of being questioned. For example, "The most important affairs of a country are sacrifice and war", people will definitely pick on it and ask where the teachings of the saints are. I have said a little more nonsense, but it has hidden traps. If someone asks what the meaning of this abrupt sentence is, "Even if it comes to life and death, I will not change my mind, let alone poverty, wealth, honor and disgrace?" I will answer: Since the art of war is despised by people and it is shameful to learn it, I will also learn it; even if it is hard to serve in the army and it is difficult to have three meals a day, I will also learn it.
I couldn't help but feel a little proud of myself. I was like me, who had already set up traps while I was doing it, and even thought of the follow-up and repetition. I'm afraid there are really no two people in the world who can do it. This pride is not a big deal, but something unexpected really happened.
Suddenly, another student stood up and said, "Lord Yuehou, please do not judge our ambition to serve our country by your own standards. You are trying to humiliate us students with your words."
"Why do you say I am ashamed of you?" This question was a bit abrupt, and I had never thought of asking this question.
"What the Marquis of Yue originally said was: Those who eat meat are vulgar and cannot plan far ahead. Why did you deliberately change it to 'not worthy of being consulted'? What do you mean by that? " The young man was very indignant and did not even greet him after he finished asking.
"Because the singer of "Wind" is the common people, the rich and the poor are the same as before; Cao Gui is a military strategist who was able to defeat the Qi army when he first entered the battlefield, and his friends should be knowledgeable. In this sentence, I still speak for the common people. I think that the current situation is very different from the situation in Qi and Lu in the past. If a common people is trapped in chaos and displaced, will they still question the long-term planning of the government? They will only think that the government is incompetent and not "capable" of planning. So I changed it." I admit that I was lying, I didn't think that far, that was just not clear. But when I was pressed to the point, I thought quickly.
"Since Lord Yuehou has spoken for the common people, do you think that ignorant people can also consult with the rulers?" This person immediately thought of something, and a smug look appeared on his face, and his voice became louder unconsciously. Although I find his contempt for the common people annoying, it is not wise to argue with him or even them that the people are the most important, the country is second, and the king is the least important. They quoted some books that I have never read, and even some ancient texts that I don't understand, which makes it difficult to refute. It is useless to have quick wits without knowing what others are.
I didn't say anything, but found a large wooden tablet nearby, wrote a big "于" (yu) on the desk, and then held it up. Seeing his face gradually change, he showed it to the students on both sides, and then put it down. Finally, he bowed and knelt as before.
I looked around at the students and asked calmly, "Do you still have any questions?"
Suddenly, one person started to hit the mat with bamboo slips, and the others followed suit, the rhythm was very fast. I didn't know the exact meaning, but I could feel that they approved of me.
I bowed my head at the desk to express my gratitude, and then stopped talking briefly.
"In the past, Ma Fujun (Zhao She) was just a tax collector." I started again, starting with Zhao She and then Zhao Kuo. This time I started again and said that there must be a conspiracy. Although they expressed their willingness to accept my teachings, I still have to be on guard after seeing how powerful the students of the Imperial Academy are. My biggest advantage is that I have fought in every war since I was sixteen, and these children, at most, have experienced the inconvenience or shock brought by the turmoil, but they have never been like me, almost fighting in every battle. It is a miracle that I am still alive today. Moreover, my record of battles is modest, but shamelessly speaking, it is a glorious undefeated record. Even the defeat of Mingzi has become a legendary story of me fighting alone. In short, the story of a father who knows the art of war and a son who can only talk about it on paper, especially the story of the father and son who have discussed the art of war several times, and the father is no match for his son, is to prevent some people from memorizing the art of war too well and insisting on nitpicking the interpretation of every word with me. I feel that I am indeed mentally dark, and I want to call on the students to expose and despise me.
I talked about the first knowledge of military tactics, then the application of military tactics, and then the whole process. I also deliberately did not use all my battles as examples, but only used the battles of Han Xin, Huo Qubing and other generals of the Han Dynasty. In the face of my ambushes, the students finally did not fall for it.
I would like to summarize it in one sentence: If you want to talk about military strategy in the Imperial Academy, you must understand the strategy.
Suddenly I felt that this sentence was extremely stupid. If I say this, I am afraid I need to add an explanation: I know that you think you know what I want you to know, but I don’t know if you really know what I want you to know.
I always feel that this sentence becomes even more stupid when explained.
But at least I feel that after this lesson at Taixue, my classmates in Jingzhou will no longer have the opportunity to laugh at my stuttering.
