Looking at Luvia, Shade touched the corner of his mouth and said with a smile. It was clearly three-color moonlight entering the eyes, but only silver moonlight was reflected.
"The other one, is it the Duchess?"
The purple eyed girl asked quietly, but she didn't seem to care at all.
"Yes, it's Miss Carina."
"It's okay, you don't have to tell me this."

Somehow, under the moonlight, looking at Luvia Fiochie Anat with her back to the moonlight, Shad blurted out these words.
Luvia's expression seemed to change for a moment, but it also seemed to remain the same. Her purple eyes stared into Shad's eyes, as if she could see into his soul.
The clothes she was wearing now were not the ones Shade had worn when he met her in the dark realm. A white blouse with golden buttons and ruffled cuffs, and a simple black skirt, simple yet dignified. Her short brown hair was simply scattered behind her head, with only a few naughty strands of hair passing over her ears:

She raised her voice slightly, still looking at Xia De:

Xia De nodded, and then, as if he had thought of something, he held Luvia down and made her sit at the end of the bed, while he knelt on one knee on the carpet in front of her. Both of them were facing the moonlight, which illuminated their profiles.
Shadra took Luvia's hand and looked up at the girl with purple eyes:

His expression was very serious. Luvia smiled and nodded:
"Shad Suellen Hamilton, will you accompany Luvia Fiochie Anat to the end?"
"Yes, until the very end, until the soul disappears into this world."
He kissed Luvita's fingers.
He raised his head and suddenly reached his hand to his neck, taking off the silver pendant that Luvia had asked him to wear when they separated at the manor. This was a lucky pendant made by Luvia herself, and inside the pendant was a photo of her deceased parents.
The ornament that was handed to Shade was intact, but the one lying in his hand now was a pendant that had cracks. Alchemical items did not have the indestructible properties of relics, and it was broken during the fierce battle between Shade and Darkness.
He placed the pendant in his palm. The moonlight outside the window made the silver jewelry sparkle. Xia De closed his eyes and inhaled slowly. Some imperceptible air flow entered his nose from the pendant. As if time was going backwards, the pendant returned to its original state.
Shad gestured to the surprised Luvia to lower her head so that he could help her put it back on.
"It's not even midnight yet, and it's not the same month, and you're wasting your lifespan casting spells."
"Yes, but it's only four or five hours set back, and I lost less than half an hour of life, so it's worth it."
Luvia held the pendant, and in those purple eyes, he was so handsome in the moonlight. Xia De was not thin, and although his skin was white, it was not particularly white because of his background as a homeless man. He was not the kind of handsome that was very feminine.

Luvia sat on the edge of the bed, watching Shad walk out the door and call the maid, handing Mia over to their care, then walked back into the room, closed and locked the door.
The moonlight illuminated the four-poster bed, her white neck and the pendant on her neck. The purple-eyed girl, with her shirt unbuttoned, bathed in the moonlight and, with some boldness and shyness, extended an invitation to the stranger:

Xia De stood at the door and leaned against it and said seriously, then said in his heart:
