Three Lifetimes of A Soldier

Chapter 81: Refusing to enter Zen!

Views:

"Go ahead, this meat is not yours!" Shang Zhen pushed the little milk cat dissatisfiedly when the sky was almost dark, but the little milk cat was getting enough meat in Shang Zhen's hands.

The pieces of meat in Shang Zhen's hands were all thinly sliced, and they were already roasted in oil.

However, the fire had already been trampled by Shang Zhen, and several pieces of dead branches were blowing white smoke in the twilight.

Hu Ren was chasing Shang Zhen, and Shang Zhen really had nothing to eat except mutton, so what should he do if he doesn't light the barbecue? Eat raw meat business shock is flatly unwilling!

However, his barbecue place this time is a rare place with low hills on all sides.

With the low hills covering, Shang Zhen knew that Hu people would definitely not see the fire.

Of course, the smoke from the barbecue was still there, so Shang Zhen just roasted these pieces of meat until they were six to seven minutes old and quickly put out the fire.

It’s uncomfortable to be chased by a husky. Shang Zhen reluctantly lit the fire because he was not hungry. How could he bake a few more slices for the little cat

But the beast is the beast, but the little milk cat didn't understand this, so naturally he moved forward, so he was under the training of Shang Zhen.

However, the little milk cat can't be trained by training alone, and Shang Zhen stuffed the meat into his mouth while avoiding the little milk cat.

The little milk cat whispered in dissatisfaction. Just when the Shang Zhen couldn't bear to slice the cooked meat for it, the little milk cat sniffed the barbecue in Shang Zhen's hand, but walked away and ate the raw meat on the ground. Come.

The raw meat was also thinned by Shang Zhen with a knife.

"It's really good!" Shang Zhen felt relieved when he saw that the little milk cat was not coming to grab the cooked meat with him, and finally he felt a tricky trick succeeded.

It turned out that this time he didn't sprinkle cumin on the barbecue. Perhaps the little milk cat felt that the cooked meat was nothing good without cumin, so he ended up eating raw meat.

After a few slices of meat, Shang Zhen was only half full.

Alright, half full, half full, just to meditate, Shang Zhen thought.

You can’t eat enough to meditate, and people feel groggy when they’re full. This is the experience that Shang Zhen often learned from meditation.

Shang Zhen didn't think much about killing more than a dozen Huren by himself.

The Hu people looted their Yukou Village, how many people were killed and how many people were taken away? Shouldn't he come back after discussing a few lives

Shang Zhen sat cross-legged in the night and soon calmed down.

The way he enters the stillness is still to meditate on his thoughts. The self in his midst is watching his thoughts one after another, trying to see what the self who discovered his thoughts is like.

Even he took the idea of contemplating his own thoughts as a wave in his heart and let it rise and die.

During the day's leisure time, Shang Zhen also thought about why he would use this method.

At first he thought it was his own unique discovery, but when he recalled the books he had memorized, he realized that it was not the case at all!

This is nothing more than a method called meditation, "the former thoughts are extinguished, the latter thoughts have not arisen, and you can enter meditation when you see the original one suddenly."

Shang Zhen is not interested in meditation. The reason why he insists on meditating all the time is because of several other reasons.

One, meditating is because there is nothing to do at night, in other words, leisure.

Second, he found that meditation can make him more intelligent. It's hard to say how effective it is in reality, but at least it is like this at the time of entry.

Three, and these three are the most important.

Because a few times, he suddenly saw those dreams he had in silence after sitting for a long time!

The first time he encountered this situation, he was very strange. With curiosity, his state of concentration was destroyed, and he was out of concentration.

The second time he encountered this situation and had experience, he took those dreams as thoughts in his own mind, just watching but not tempted.

To his disappointment, those dreams were all made by himself, and no new dreams occurred.

Shang Zhen also couldn't figure out the truth, but since he recognized that there was a previous life, wouldn't it be better if you really saw a new dream in the extreme tranquility of the physical and mental world when you meditated? It's better than drinking the spring water that makes you feel painful!

Shang Zhen quickly entered a state of tranquillity. From the thoughts to the last, the thoughts that jumped out became fewer and fewer.

At this time, another thought appeared in his mind.

That thought is just a word, called "trance."

During the meditation, Shang Zhen couldn't figure out what thoughts he would have.

Sometimes the thought is like a wild horse, and it comes very abruptly.

But as long as you see the thoughts and don't go with them, the thoughts will naturally disappear.

Anyone who meditates seeks quietness, but not only deliberately seek quietness.

If you can't think of anything, why meditate? Wouldn't it be better to be a stone that has been waiting for a thousand years? !

Of course, Shang Zhen, an endorser, knows where this "trance" comes from.

The "trance" comes from the following passage, "Tao is a thing, but a trance."

In a trance, there is an elephant in it; in a trance, there is something in it; in a daze, there is an essence in it.

Its essence is true, and there is faith in it. "

This is Lao Tzu's "Tao De Jing".

Recently, Shang Zhen wanted to be quiet while meditating, but he didn't stop thinking. In that quietness, he turned out all the long memories that he had usually forgotten!

It turned out that he was only memorizing when he was endorsing, how could he understand what Lao Tzu's words meant.

But this time he felt as if he understood something. Isn't this passage talking about meditation

Trance refers to the state of meditation after entering concentration.

There are elephants in them, things in them, and essence in them. That means that some things are seen during meditation, and even those things have a tendency to materialize.

This is not easy to understand. In Buddhist words, it is called Faith, Understanding and Enlightenment.

The key is this certificate. When you look at a glass of water, the Buddha says that there are eighty-four thousand insects.

That means there are many small bugs in a glass of water.

But it's useless if you just believe in this truth. You have to be able to see it yourself, or even reach out and put a small worm into your hand. This is called a proof!

How can I get it? Lao Tzu also said, "There is essence in it, and its essence is true, and there is faith in it."

Shang Zhen has memorized too many books, and now in a daze, he immediately thought of two sentences: "Faith is the source of Taoism and virtue" and "Straight heart is the dojo".

As the saying goes, if you believe it, you will not be able to believe it. If you believe it, you will have the induction. If you don't believe it, you will naturally have the induction of unbelief.

In this sense, unbelief is also a kind of belief, and the mind determines everything.

If you don't believe it has it, it will naturally not exist, but if you don't believe it has it, it doesn't mean that it doesn't exist, it's just that you can't see it.

Isn't that what he will get what he thinks, Shang Zhen thinks again, but then he negates his own thoughts again.

If you think about it, you can do it, that is, isn't the world in a mess!

As for saying that "straight heart is the dojo", it means that you must be sincere in cultivating the Tao, and those who are careful and not solid will not be able to cultivate the Tao.

Shang Zhen thought about it mixedly, but then suddenly realized that he was still distracted.

When I think of that dream, it is also when the thoughts are gone and the thoughts are not awakened. Those who are not cultivating Taoism are not interested.

He squatted with each other from day to day to night, so what is the cultivation way? This is actually what he wanted to understand in his previous life.

Forget it, I don't want this anymore.

Even at this time, the business shock did not know that the person's heart was an endless treasure house.

How many people don't understand this treasure house, but those who understand it don't understand it, because that thing needs to be self-certified, and who can tell if it is true or not.

If Shang Zhen really took his meditation level one step further, then there might be another great Zen master with a clear mind in the world.

But that was not the purpose of Shang Zhen, he refused to enter the supreme and extremely subtle Zen!

But even though he refused to enter Zen, he didn't realize that his head has become more and more enlightened by meditating every day. How could it be the old and dull "small bench"

Shang Zhen's mind was no longer unruly anymore. As his calmness deepened, he felt that his perception of his surroundings became more acute.

However, this is still not the purpose of Shang Zhen, but his purpose is still pondering his own dreams. He is waiting for those dreams to appear again after he enters the state!

But at this moment, Shang Zhen's brows frowned, and he felt as if he heard a different sound amid the rustling of leaves and the whisper of bugs.

At first, Shang Zhen didn't care, but he felt that the sound seemed to be louder again. This sound existed and was present in all directions. He was sure.

Did he really enter the Tao? There is something in it, so what did you come up with

Shang Zhen was thinking about it. At this moment, he heard the little milk cat whispering "Oh"!

No, this is the warning sound of the little milk cat. In Tiewei Mountain, Shang Zhen has encountered this situation once!
