After smoking, Ji Minglun returned to the room and went into the bathroom. As soon as he closed the door, he heard someone knocking on the door.

Jiang Lin stood up, put down the tablet in his hand and tried to open the door, but Ji Minglun came out first and looked outside through the peephole.

Deng Yi lowered her head to look at her phone screen, then quickly raised her hand to knock on the door again, this time shouting, "Minglun, it's almost time, we should go."

Before letting Jiang Lin sleep in his room, Ji Minglun had anticipated this situation. He hung up the safety chain, opened the door a crack and said, "I'm about to take a shower. You go down first. I'll be there soon."

"Okay," Deng Yi responded, "Then hurry up, I'll go down first."

After closing the door again, Ji Minglun turned around and looked at Jiang Lin: "You go down first, I'll take a shower and come back."

Jiang Lin asked hesitantly: "Shen Ran didn't say anything just now?"

"It's okay, he knows the importance of things and won't say anything nonsense." Ji Minglun explained.

Jiang Lin felt relieved and waited for a while before going downstairs with the chest bag. Ji Minglun took a quick shower. When he arrived at the lobby downstairs, the others were already sitting in the rest area on the right, occupying a long sofa and chatting in low voices.

Ji Minglun saw Jiang Lin first. He was curled up in the corner of the sofa. Deng Feng beside him said something that made him laugh. Then he saw himself.

Shen Ran also saw Ji Minglun, stood up and said, "Senior is here, let's go."

Deng Yi adjusted the belt and hem of her Hanfu costume, hooked her arm around Shi Xiaomin's and walked over first. The others also stood up. Deng Feng and Jiang Lin came up behind. When Ji Minglun turned around, he saw Deng Feng talking to Jiang Lin.

Shen Ran put his arm around his shoulder from the other side: "Quickly take away your perverted gaze, or Sister Deng Yi will find out if you keep looking at her."

When he glanced at her, Shen Ran thought he would argue, but he just pressed his lips and walked out.

After exiting the hotel's revolving door, the heat from outside hit us in the face. Deng Feng said, "Let's go to Huimin Street to eat first. It's just a short walk over there and it's very lively there."

Everyone agreed, so they walked towards the Muslim Street. When crossing the street, the sunlight slanting down to West Street fell on the roofs of the antique buildings on both sides like a layer of golden gauze. Deng Yi turned on the SLR, selected a few scenes, and then called Ji Minglun to take the photos.

Ji Minglun's photography skills are pretty good. Jiang Lin saw him take it, just slightly adjusted it, and took a few photos and returned them to Deng Yi.

Deng Yi replayed the photos taken just now, and happily praised him for his usual great ability in taking backlit photos. She also asked him why he didn't bring his camera this time.

Jiang Lin walked behind them, his eyes fixed on the tall figure in front of him, and he didn't even notice what Deng Feng said next. It was not until Shen Ran next to Ji Minglun suddenly turned around to look at him that he picked up the mineral water in his hand and drank it.

Entering Beiyuanmen Street, Shi Xiaomin's boyfriend Wang Shi looked at the dazzling array of shops on both sides and asked first: "What should we eat?"

Deng Feng made a plan and wanted to take everyone to a famous shop to eat Shaanxi specialties. However, when they got in, they found that the maze-like streets were full of inconspicuous but crowded shops. They walked around for almost half an hour but couldn't find their destination. Deng Yi stuffed the Zhengao in her hand to Shi Xiaomin, took a few steps forward and called out to Deng Feng who was still watching.

"Brother, let's just find a restaurant to eat. If we keep walking, I'll be full after eating all this."

Deng Feng looked back and saw that not only Shi Xiaomin was holding food, but her boyfriend Wang Shi, Jiang Lin and Shen Ran also had snacks in their hands.

Deng Feng was sweating profusely as he walked, and he felt that this was not going to work, so he randomly found a restaurant that served spicy oil noodles and mutton soup buns. He originally thought that the taste might not be good, but he accidentally stumbled upon this restaurant. The mutton soup was fresh and not smelly, the vermicelli was crispy but not mushy, and the golden buns were soaked in the flavor of the broth. It was so delicious after one bite.

Jiang Lin liked eating mutton in the first place, so after finishing a bowl, he ordered another one. Ji Minglun was sitting next to him, and seeing him eating like that, he was worried that his stomach would feel uncomfortable if he couldn't digest it, so he leaned over to Shen Ran's ear and said a few words.

Shen Ran lowered his head and took a mouthful of noodles. After swallowing it, he said to Jiang Lin, "I also want to try mutton soup steamed bun. Why don't you give me half? I can't finish one bowl."

Before Jiang Lin could refuse, Deng Feng said to Shen Ran, "Let me share a bowl with you. I want to eat it too but I can't finish it."

Shen Ran bit his chopsticks and reluctantly agreed, then glared at Ji Minglun when no one was paying attention.

After dinner, everyone continued shopping. Deng Yi was attracted by a small shop selling mirror cakes and pulled Shi Xiaomin over. Soon, Deng Feng, Shen Ran and others also went over to see the cartoon patterns painted on the mirror cakes by the owner.

Jiang Lin stood in the middle of the cobblestone road and looked at the people around him who didn't like to join in the fun like him: "It's so lively here."

"Well," Ji Minglun pulled him to the side, "Did you eat too much just now?"

"No," Jiang Lin avoided a tourist who was holding a candied haws and chatting with his companions, "I didn't put too much steamed buns, mainly because the mutton soup is delicious."

Ji Minglun nodded, and Jiang Lin asked again: "Is your bowl of oil-splashed noodles delicious?"

"not bad."

"Then I'll try it tomorrow morning."

Ji Minglun nodded in front of him with his chin: "Would you like something to drink?"

Jiang Lin looked in the direction he was looking and saw a milk tea shop with antique decoration. He had just eaten something salty, so now it was a good time to have something sweet to change the taste, so he went over with Ji Minglun and ordered two cups of osmanthus wine.

The clerk asked them to wait for a moment. Ji Minglun took the receipt and turned around to find Jiang Lin standing at the door of a small shop next door that sold ethnic silver jewelry. He lowered his eyes to look at the silver jewelry casually placed in the colorful bamboo basket next to it.

Ji Minglun walked over and saw Jiang Lin looking up at him when he got to his side: "Is the bracelet I gave you two years ago still there?"

That bracelet had been worn on Ji Minglun's wrist before Jiang Lin went to Los Angeles. This time when Jiang Lin came back, he didn't see Ji Minglun wearing it. The reason was obvious. But now that he saw the other bracelets, Jiang Lin couldn't help but ask.

Maybe Ji Minglun just put it away and wouldn't throw it away.

As he thought about this, he looked at Ji Minglun with a different look. Ji Minglun wanted to say that he had thrown it away, but when the words came to his lips, he turned around and said, "I put it away."

Jiang Lin pursed his lips and smiled, his narrow eyes were curved, more beautiful than the crescent moon on the roof in the distance. Ji Minglun looked at him silently, and when he saw him bending down to choose from the basket, he asked again: "I missed your birthday this year, I will give you a gift instead."

When he bent down, a piece of fair skin was exposed at the collar of his T-shirt. Ji Minglun moved sideways to block his angle towards the passers-by.

Jiang Lin didn't realize the meaning of Ji Minglun's action and continued to look at him waiting for an answer.

Ji Minglun looked away awkwardly, looking at another basket of silver jewelry beside him and said, "Why did you choose such a random gift?"

Jiang Lin was slightly stunned, then he straightened up and said, "No, I will definitely choose carefully. Or tell me what you want."

Ji Minglun rolled his eyes at him and said, "No one asks for a birthday gift on their own. Of course, the person giving the gift has to think about it."

Jiang Lin nodded seriously: "Then I'll think about it carefully."

The milk tea shop next door called them to pick up their food. Ji Minglun went to get it. They both ordered osmanthus wine with the same sweetness. Jiang Lin took it and took a sip: "This tastes good, not greasy at all."

After working at Chaka for a while, Jiang Lin had a certain understanding of tea and coffee, but Ji Minglun said, "It's still a little bitter."

Jiang Lin took another sip and wanted to ask Ji Minglun how he tasted it. Just as he turned around, he saw a figure running towards Ji Minglun from behind, holding two mirror cakes on bamboo sticks in his hand.

Jiang Lin bit the straw and looked at Deng Yi standing beside Ji Minglun with excitement: "This is the Doraemon I just drew. Isn't it beautiful?"

Without waiting for Ji Minglun to answer, Deng Yi handed him a piece: "This is for you, try it."

Ji Minglun held the milk tea cup in his right hand, and his left hand in his pocket showed no intention of taking it out: "I'm full, you can eat it yourself."

"Take a bite," Deng Yi touched him with her arm, "I bought this especially for you. The paintings on it were just finished by the boss."

When Deng Yi persuaded Ji Minglun to eat, Deng Feng also walked over to Jiang Lin with two pieces of mirror cakes: "Would you like to try it? This is a special snack here. This one has rose flavor and this one has blueberry flavor."

Jiang Lin took a look at what Deng Feng brought and said, "You eat it. I have milk tea. You will feel full if you eat this."

Deng Feng smiled and said, "I can't eat it either. Let's put it aside for now. Whoever is hungry can eat it later."

Shen Ran stood behind Deng Feng, chewing a piece of osmanthus-flavored mirror cake. Suddenly, he couldn't help laughing. Deng Feng asked him what he was laughing at. He pointed at Deng Yi with his chin and said, "Sister Deng Yi's mirror cake is going to be unsalable. Brother Feng, why don't you go and help?"

Deng Feng turned his head and saw that Ji Minglun insisted on not eating the mirror cake. Deng Yi looked at the slightly melted Doraemon on the mirror cake and opened her mouth to take a bite in frustration.

Deng Feng wanted to laugh, but because she was his own sister, he could only smooth things over by saying, "Deng Yi, don't eat too much. Be careful not to get too full."

Shi Xiaomin was also beside him trying to persuade Deng Yi, while Ji Minglun walked forward first, and everyone followed him one after another. After walking for a while, Ji Minglun stopped in front of a small shop selling special items.

There was a rectangular stage frame at the entrance of the store, with a piece of rice paper covering the surroundings as the background. Two little girls about six or seven years old were performing with shadow puppets behind the lights, having a lot of fun. Ji Minglun watched for a moment, turned around to look for Jiang Lin, and found that Deng Feng had walked to Jiang Lin again, and the two were talking in a low voice.

Shen Ran walked to Ji Minglun and looked back with him. Seeing that his expression had become serious, he was afraid that he would be noticed, so he had to remind him: "They were talking about milk tea. Brother Feng asked Jiang Lin how it tasted. Jiang Lin said that you tasted that the tea was astringent, but he couldn't taste it."

Ji Minglun continued to walk forward. While the people behind him couldn't hear him, Shen Ran continued, "Senior, why are you doing this? If you really can't let him go, try to chase him again. It's better than worrying about him being snatched away by someone else."

"He doesn't like men." Ji Minglun said in a deep voice.

"That was when you confessed your feelings before."

Shen Ran turned around and walked backwards. He found that Jiang Lin was talking to Deng Feng a few steps away, but his eyes were looking in their direction. So he bumped Ji Minglun's arm and asked him to look behind him: "Look at the way he treats you now, are you still sure?"
