Lying down on the bed, Jiang Lin stared at the chandelier on the bedside table, his mind full of what Ji Minglun had just said.
It's very strange. I've slept in her arms before, but after Ji Minglun said it so deliberately, the meaning seemed to change.
I don’t know if it’s because they have already communicated with each other.
At the end of the chandelier was a black musical note bracket fixed to the ceiling, which reminded him of the dream catcher that Ji Minglun had thrown away.
If he had confessed to Ji Minglun from the beginning, the dream catcher would not have been lost.
There were footsteps coming from outside. Noticing that he was distracted, Ji Minglun sat down on the edge of the bed and asked, "What are you thinking about?"
"I was thinking it was a pity that you threw away the dream catcher."
Ji Minglun changed into his pajamas, and after hearing that, he lay down with a smile: "It's not lost, I locked it in the closet."
Jiang Lin was just about to give him half of the quilt. After hearing this, he sat up and said, "You didn't throw it away? Then how could you lie to me?"
Let him lie down again, Ji Minglun covered them with the quilt and confessed: "To piss you off."
Looking at the profile of the face on the pillow next to him, Jiang Lin couldn't help but pinch it under the quilt. He felt relieved when he saw Ji Minglun gasp in pain and turned his back to him.
Rubbing the part that was pinched by Jiang Lin with his palm, Ji Minglun approached Jiang Lin from behind, looked at him with his eyes closed, and said with a smile: "Are you angry already? Why don't you think about how many times you've pissed me off since you came back?"
"So you have to get them back one by one." Jiang Lin summed it up for him.
An arm stretched out and hugged Jiang Lin's waist. He felt some heat in the crook of his neck, and then realized that the soft touch came from Ji Minglun's lips.
His tightly closed eyelashes trembled slightly, and he heard Ji Minglun whisper, "I haven't thought about it that way. I can't bear to be angry with you anymore."
The kiss on the neck was withdrawn, Jiang Lin opened his eyes, turned his face and looked at Ji Minglun.
Ji Minglun supported his upper body with his elbows, and the two of them looked at each other for a moment. Soon his eyes changed and his attention shifted to Jiang Lin's lips.
Jiang Lin's cheeks heated up at that undisguised gaze, and his right hand under the quilt unconsciously grasped Ji Minglun's hand on his lower abdomen.
This action was like pressing a switch. Ji Minglun lowered his head and kissed him on the side of his nose. It felt itchy, as if his heart was being scratched by the tip of a feather.
His lowered eyelids hid the tension in his eyes, and Ji Minglun's second kiss fell on the corner of his mouth.
The heartbeat gradually became like a drum, and the soft lips licked the tightly closed lips. The blending breaths began to become indistinguishable from each other. Jiang Lin unconsciously loosened his lips. Ji Minglun held his shoulders and made him lie flat, and pressed his weight on him.
The surging tide of thoughts was about to explode. The person on him bit his lips and sucked them. After a slight test, the attack came swiftly. Soon his tongue tip was numbed by the sucking, his waist was sore from being rubbed by the palm, and he trembled and whimpered. His hands that reached out to grab the quilt were held upside down, and the last bit of his strength was also taken away by someone.
Unlike the kiss a year ago that frightened him so much that he couldn't think, this time Jiang Lin kept his eyes half open. He couldn't see the person on him, but he could picture Ji Minglun's appearance at the moment in the depths of his mind. The man's passionate gesture when kissing him became clearer and clearer with the plundering movements, and he was also ignited by this hot entanglement and didn't want to bear it blindly.
His active cooperation made the kiss even more out of control, and he soon felt something poking him. The person on him had to stop, burying his face in his neck and breathing hard.
The hazy whiteness on the ceiling was cast into Jiang Lin's pupils. He gasped for air, and his blurred vision could not find the focus. His lips were swollen from being bitten, and there was a slight pain in the numbness, but it was not as obvious as the heat flowing through his neck.
He raised his limp hand and placed it on the back of Ji Minglun's neck. He used his fingertips to gently stroke the burning skin. Soon Ji Minglun's breathing slowed down. He raised his face and touched his forehead, saying, "You still have a fever. Go to sleep first."
Jiang Lin nodded, his breath calmed down a lot, but his cheeks were still red. Ji Minglun got off him, and neither of them mentioned the situation of the other. After covering him with the quilt, Ji Minglun lay down. He pinched the bed sheet with his fingers on his side. Just when he wanted to remind himself not to think about it and go to sleep first, the man next to him turned around, approached him and said, "Just hold me and sleep."
The joy that rose in his heart raised the corners of his mouth. Jiang Lin let Ji Minglun hug him again, with his back pressed against the warm chest. His heart, which had been beating in the void, seemed to be held firmly in place, and he felt relaxed.
He hadn't been able to get a good rest these days, and not long after he closed his eyes, he fell asleep unknowingly. He didn't wake up until the evening. In his hazy consciousness, he found that there was nothing behind him and the room was very dark.
Touching the cold pillow beside him, he thought Ji Minglun was gone, but when he opened his eyes he found a warm light around the crack of the bedroom door.
Jiang Lin lifted the quilt and got out of bed, then walked to the living room. There were more than a dozen plates of washed food on the dining table, with an electric hot pot in the middle. The TV on one side was broadcasting the news, but there was no sound. Instead, there were soft voices coming from the direction of the kitchen.
He walked to the kitchen door and heard clearly that it was Ji Minglun who was on the phone.
The man had his back to him and was looking out the window. Although his voice was low, he could tell from just a few words that the person he was talking to was Ji Zhuosheng.
The two were talking about immigration.
This was also the thing that Jiang Lin was most concerned about at this stage. He listened quietly, and was soon discovered by the person who turned around and leaned against the pool. After saying a few words to the person on the other end of the phone, Ji Minglun put away his phone and walked towards him: "Why didn't you make a sound after waking up."
"Since you were talking about serious matters, I didn't bother you."
His bangs were lifted, and Ji Minglun placed his warm palm on his forehead: "I took your temperature in the evening and it was still a low-grade fever. Do you feel uncomfortable now?"
Jiang Lin shook his head: "I feel much better after a good sleep."
"Let's sit down and eat first," Ji Minglun held his shoulders and asked him to turn around, then pushed him to sit at the table and turned the electric hot pot to the maximum power. "What do you want to drink? I bought orange juice and Coke..."
Before he could finish his words, there was a "pop" sound, and then everything went dark before his eyes.
Before Ji Minglun could react, Jiang Lin laughed out loud.
Shaking his head helplessly, Ji Minglun turned on the flashlight of his phone, and the bright light shone on Jiang Lin's fair face. Seeing him smiling from ear to ear, Ji Minglun also smiled: "Why didn't you remind me?"
"I didn't remember it right away." Jiang Lin explained.
Ji Minglun walked to the kitchen, and Jiang Lin followed him. After seeing him open the switch box and check, he said, "The fuse has burned out again."
The last time a typhoon came, Ji Minglun helped Jiang Lin replace the fuse, so he went to the cabinet and got another one to replace it. However, this time the fuse probably had quality problems and would not light up after being replaced.
There were no extra fuses at home. Ji Minglun shook off the dust on his hands and said, "Come to my house tonight. I'll come back and help you tomorrow."
"What about the things on the table?" Jiang Lin asked.
"Pack it up and bring it to me."
Ji Minglun did what he said. He and Jiang Lin cleaned up the place quickly, one with a cell phone to light the way and the other with a bag to pack. Jiang Lin went back to the bedroom to change clothes, then went downstairs and got into Ji Minglun's car.
On the way, Ji Minglun turned into a fresh food supermarket to buy hot pot base and dipping sauce. When they got home, the ingredients were placed on the table one by one. Jiang Lin didn't stop eating after he picked up his chopsticks. It was the most satisfying meal he had had in these days.
It’s a pity that he can’t drink alcohol because of the eczema on his hands, otherwise it would be most pleasant to eat hot pot with cold beer in the summer.
After dinner, Ji Minglun washed the dishes and he stood by to help. Ji Minglun asked him to take a shower first. He remembered that he had come in a hurry and didn't bring any change of clothes, so he said, "Wait a minute and find some clothes for me to change. I didn't bring any."
"I have all your clothes in the storage room. They need to be washed if you haven't worn them for a long time. Go look for mine in the closet first."
Jiang Lin paused while wiping the dishes, looked up and asked, "Didn't you throw away those clothes?"
Ji Minglun asked him back: "Why, do you want me to throw it away?"
"No," Jiang Lin stacked the dried bowls and continued to take down another one. "Last time you came over, you gave me your clothes to wear. I thought you threw away all mine."
The person next to him didn't answer, and soon the sound of running water stopped. Ji Minglun took a tissue to wipe his hands, approached him and said, "Were you really not wearing anything last time?"
Thinking of that bold move, Jiang Lin felt a little embarrassed. He put down the dishcloth and wanted to walk into the room, but Ji Minglun reached out and pulled him back into his arms.
They had just exchanged their feelings, and Jiang Lin was not used to such intimacy. He rested his hands on Ji Minglun's shoulders, and his expression was a little unnatural. Ji Minglun felt it, so he loosened his grip and asked, "Are you still not used to it?"
Jiang Lin nodded, and fearing that Ji Minglun would misunderstand him again, he took the initiative to explain: "Just give me two days."
Releasing his arms, Ji Minglun rubbed his hair and said, "Go get your pajamas. Don't wear them. Mine are too big for you. You won't be comfortable."
After saying this, Jiang Lin's face turned visibly red. He was too lazy to argue with him anymore and turned around and walked towards the master bedroom.
Looking at Jiang Lin's angry back, Ji Minglun couldn't help laughing and continued to turn on the faucet to wash the dishes.
Standing by the closet door of the master bedroom, Jiang Lin found a set of dark blue pajamas and opened the drawer below where the breasts were kept. He originally wanted to find one to wear, but after searching through it, he found that Ji Minglun was right. The man's breasts were more than one size too big for him.
Thinking of the effect of wearing it on himself, Jiang Lin's ears began to heat up. He simply didn't take it, and directly closed the door and went to take a shower.
