Alert Star.
This planet has not yet been blessed by the light of reform, nor has the mercy of the Imperial Regent reached this area.
The inhabitants here are still under the rule of Lucian XII.
The Lucian family's manor is located in a high tower in the capital, Saint's Harbor. It is the richest and most powerful family on the planet.
On Vigilant Star, no force can shake their foundation.
Any challenger who wants to do that will pay a heavy price.
The family claimed that they were appointed by the Emperor and were the legitimate rulers of the planet.
Anyone who disobeys their orders is committing treason against the Emperor, an unforgivable crime.
If you look closely, it is easy to see the lies of the Lucian family.
House Lucian was not a house that rose to prominence during the Great Crusade.
Therefore, it could not have been appointed by the Emperor.
The only thing this family has received is recognition from the Terra Council.
This family promised to provide the empire with more taxes and soldiers than the previous ruling family.
The high lord, who received benefits in return, signed a bill and the Lucian family obtained the legal right to rule the Vigilance Planet.
From then on, this family began a rule that lasted for four thousand years.
The Emperor probably doesn't even know who they are.
For the civilians living on the Alert Planet, the Lucian family is the most terrifying existence.
But the Lucian family is insignificant to the empire. An inquisitor can kill this stinky family without paying any price.
The Vigilant Star is located on the edge of the Hazy Star Region.
This planet will provide the Empire with a large number of soldiers and shield equipment.
As a tithe paid to the empire.
Vigilante has a unique defensive technology.
A long time ago, a mechanical sage passing through the Vigilant Star discovered a psychic technology-driven stand shield STC in the ruins of an ancient Golden Age.
This shield technology is more suitable for fighting demons or various psychic attacks than other shield technologies in the empire, so it is very popular.
This STC was quickly approved by the Mechanical Magos of Mars and put into production.
In addition to being sent aboard interstellar trading ships by interstellar merchants to become solid defense devices for other planets.
These fortress-level force field shields are also installed on the edge of each continent of Alert Star to provide Alert Star with sufficiently strong shield protection.
It is these shields that have allowed Vigilance to maintain peace for so long.
After all, even Chaos Warriors would find it difficult to break through those fortress-level defensive shields.
This is true even when using chaos magic.
That kind of shield technology is specifically designed to target psychic energy.
Given the importance of shields, the Mechanical Priests who maintain them are given a high status.
They even made a deal with the planet's Governor family.
The planet's force field shield was repaired by the Mechanical Priest.
The Lucian family allowed them to build their own facilities in the northern Forge Continent to research and produce various equipment needed by the empire.
The Mechanical Sage values the northern continent of Vigilance Planet not simply for forging, nor for competing with the Lucian family for power and profit.
The reason why they are so concerned is because there is a mysterious black mineral underground in the northern continent.
This black mineral is extremely valuable. It can stabilize and amplify the power of ether. If it is under a special frequency, it can even produce an anti-ether force field.
These properties establish the value of the mineral.
For this reason, he has gained fanatical support from the Mechanicus.
According to the exploration of the Mechanicus, these minerals are distributed like blood vessels beneath the surface of the northern continent.
The scale of the reserves is so large that it is difficult to measure.
It is very likely that the entire stratum is covered with these black minerals.
The technical bishops built a large number of mechanical equipment for large-scale collection activities to dig out these minerals and make them into various industrial products or military weapons.
Relying on the unique force field technology and black minerals, the planet's wealth was accumulated rapidly during peacetime, and people's overall life was pretty good.
After all, the annual income of the powerful families is terrifying, and it is no big deal to take out a small amount to appease the civilians of Vigilance Star.
Everyone thought that life would go on like this day after day.
However, this peace collapsed with the fall of Cadia.
Accompanied by a warp storm, a new dark era descended upon the wastelands and hive cities of Vigilant.
When the Warp rift tore the starry sky in half, everyone thought the end had come.
A large amount of purple light poured out from the cracks.
Those lights have special magic, and every citizen of the empire who sees the lights will be involuntarily be mesmerized by them.
In the early days of the disaster, many bloody conflicts broke out among the residents of the hive city in order to get closer to the strange light.
Thousands of people lost their lives.
But those people's enthusiasm has not subsided. They are still crazy and want to get close to the crack by any means necessary to seize the army's aircraft.
It was not until the ruler of the planet, Lucian, the patriarch of the Lucian family, reacted and issued a ban requiring residents not to look up at the sky at night or go out after nightfall.
Those who violated the rules would be punished with flogging at the very least, or even death at the worst.
Under the iron fist, people are very resentful.
On the other hand, with the opening of the Great Rift, all the Imperial civilians on Vigilant found themselves tormented by nightmares.
Their sleep quality becomes poor, their nerves become weak, and their whole body becomes extremely sensitive.
As a result, many citizens believed the doomsday theories of those underground sects and accepted their crazy brainwashing.
Under the instigation of those sects, some hive cities had hundreds of riots in a month, affecting both life and production.
Then various crises followed.
As an important fulcrum that can stabilize the space structure and maintain the Nakmond Corridor, and also as a warning star at the entrance to the corridor, its strategic value was soon recognized by other races.
Perhaps it was the protection and guidance of the orc gods, Gaomao and Ershen.
The first fleet to arrive at the Alert Planet was actually the Orc fleet.
The orcs invaded Alert Planet using a fleet of various cobbled-together warships.
The Warp storms and Aether frenzy caused by the Great Rift madly tortured the Imperial officially certified psykers and prophets.
As a result, no one observed the invasion of the orc fleet, and no one issued a warning.
The unsuspecting Imperial Navy was unable to organize an effective defense and was dispersed by the huge size of the Orcs.
When they reorganized their formation, they tried to fight the orcs to the death.
Those orc ships had crashed into the vast desolate plains of the Alert Star like meteors, completing a wave of space postures unique to the orcs.
The strategic goal of the orcs is simple and straightforward, that is to occupy the alert star and turn it into their territory, or turn it into a battlefield for their favorite mincing.
Those orcs who survived the battleship crash into the ground quickly built a unique building of the orcs - the garbage city.
It is well known that the Orks are developing very quickly.
Half a month after landing, the wilderness was filled with green figures running everywhere.
The sound of metal colliding and super-large guns firing echoed everywhere.
The sound of the chief mechanic yelling and the roar of the engine starting up.
The Lucian family is powerless to do anything about this, as there are not only greenskins in the wild, but also various chaos sects and monsters walking in the darkness.
The Empire lost control of the wilderness and was forced to retreat into hive cities, using shields to protect themselves.
The wilderness became the territory of the Orks, aliens and demons.
However, misfortunes never come alone.
In addition to the orcs, riots in various hive cities are also becoming more and more intense.
A poor cult called the Twisted Dragon, led by a prophet, launches a devastating raid, further unsettling the situation.
A large number of doomsday sects emerged when the rulers were unable to take care of their own affairs and brainwashed the people.
The riots intensified further and the situation was on the verge of getting out of control.
After investigation by the agents, it was discovered that the Twisted Dragon Sect was formed by Genestealers released by the Tyranids, and that Chaos Cultists were also behind other sects.
Realizing that the crisis was inevitable, the powerful used their power and troops to collect enough water and food to last them for many years, hid in the inner walls, closed all entrances and exits, and waited for rescue from the empire.
Such selfish behavior eventually led to civil unrest.
The people's anger almost became a reality, and their rage eventually tore apart the order of the entire Vigilance Planet.
Under the instigation and incitement of the Indomitable Dragon and numerous sects that promote doomsday theories.
Various riots frequently broke out in the nests of the Alert Star, industrial production almost stagnated, and transportation routes in various places were also destroyed.
Many thugs even tried to find ways to cross the inner wall and enter the areas where the powerful and wealthy were located to kill and loot.
The Dark Eldar also rushed out of the Webway during the civil strife on Vigilance. They captured a large number of humans as their playthings and slaves, and caused bloody and brutal massacres in many cities.
Thousands of civilians were skinned, tortured to death, and then hung up as a threat to the Dark Eldar.
However, these are not the most terrible things.
Chaos came after the Orcs, Zerg, and Dark Eldar.
A Chaos traitor calling himself the Star Reaver declared that the era of the Imperium was over, and demanded that the ruler of Vigilante pledge unconditional loyalty to the Great Reaver, chosen by the Four Gods, and Warmaster Abaddon.
He gave a deadline, if the ruler of the Alert Planet had not surrendered by then.
Then they will launch an attack and destroy the entire Alert Planet.
Due to the intimidation from the Star Stealer, the Lucian family once wanted to surrender.
However, the arrival of the Iron Hands and Brass Claws Chapters crushed his treachery.
Companies from both Chapters operate in the nearby sub-sector.
They learned from other channels that Chaos wanted to obtain the Vigilance Star, so they rushed over.
Gabriel of the Iron Hands Chapter had no idea why Chaos would set its sights on Vigilante.
Out of an instinctive dislike and vigilance towards Chaos traitors, and the importance of the Nachmond Corridor.
He knew that he had to hold on to Alert and seek support to ensure that Alert remained under the control of the Empire.
Librarians serving both Chapters united and sent a message across the Imperium, requesting additional support to combat the impending Warmaster's forces.
After the Great Rift appeared, any psychic communication came at a heavy cost.
Even psychic communication between two neighboring planets could shred the messenger's mind.
Only a trained Chapter Librarian can have the fortitude to continuously send messages to the Empire.
After paying a heavy price, these requests for help were learned by various chapters and Terra.
In order to protect the last hope of the human empire, the loyalist regiment dispatched fleets and set out on the road to the alert planet.
Calgar was also ordered by the Imperial Regent to go to Vigilance Planet for support.
... ... ... ... ... ... .
... ... ... ... ... ... ..
"Flesh is weak, machines are perfect."
Every Iron Hands warrior adheres to this philosophy.
No one understands this better than Gabriel.
Each of the Empire's parent groups has a strong individual style.
A wild wolf that is savage and rude and believes in nature.
A dark angel who is taciturn and keeps secrets.
A Blood Angel who is sincere and good at fighting, and insists on fighting against his own genetic defects.
The white scar that comes and goes like the wind, pursuing speed.
A paragon of morality, a chapter can muster tens of thousands of Ultramarines.
As stubborn as a rock, the imperial fist is known as the imperial wall.
A fire-hearted salamander that never gives in.
Finally, there are the Iron Hands. As the name suggests, they believe that machines are more powerful than flesh.
The Iron Hands Chapter possesses artifacts of dark technology only slightly inferior to the treasure troves of the Dark Angels.
They are the only intelligent army with multiple auxiliary systems.
If not for the clear records in the Empire, many people would probably regard them as a branch of the Mechanicus.
Like the Mechanicus, they are keen on digging out STCs and conducting various mechanical research.
Many warriors even have mechanical gear emblems on their bodies.
When they fight, they often carry a large amount of mechanical equipment to enhance their personal firepower.
Just like at this moment, several intelligent machines took heavy steps and walked in front.
Gabriel followed closely behind with other Iron Hands warriors.
They wandered through the ruins of the hive city, where sirens were blaring, searching for the enemy.
This is not a direct battlefield, just a small-scale conflict.
Their mission is to clear the enemies from the ruins and assist local residents in evacuating to safer areas.
The strong lights flickered among the ruins, like the pulse of a dying man.
Shadows fell around the ruined stone columns and arches.
The strong spotlight from the hover gunship illuminated the rubble and broken bodies here.
The single-function robot servant mounted on the wall had light shining through its hollowed-out eye sockets, and its metal-inlaid tendons opened and closed, sending garbled codes that no one could understand toward the dark ruins.
Gabriel's steel boots stepped on the gravel, and the eyepiece mounted on his helmet activated the infrared function, helping him lock on to the target in the dark.
Two omnics followed behind him, clicking sounds continued to be heard, and the multi-barreled grenade launchers installed on the omnics' arms kept rotating, trying to lock onto the target in the dark.
In the entire team, the number of artificial robots is equal to the number of Iron Hands warriors.
The Iron Hands were one of the few Chapters in the Imperium that did not abide by the ban on Mars.
Mars is very dissatisfied with this.
But the Iron Hands is the parent group after all, and Mars' opinion will not have any effect.
The High Lords also did not want to touch a parent group for the benefit of the Mechanicus.
In fact, within the empire, the mother group is a very special existence, which will give the regiment of this bloodline a sense of belonging.
Each chapter inherits its heritage through bloodline. If Terra makes an unreasonable decision, it is likely to lead to opposition from other chapters.
The Iron Hands also hold a distinguished position in the Empire.
The Mechanicus could do nothing about this and could only accept that they had their own technology.
Later on, they will even reach some research cooperation with the Iron Hands.
"I smell the stench of those orcs, but not just them, there's something else too." whispered Jace, a Space Wolf warrior next to him.
He was much taller than Gabriel, and the power armor he wore was also thicker.
Jace is a Primaris Space Marine.
After the Great Rift appeared, he went to Macragge to provide support, and then the Primarch awakened and started the reforms.
As a result, Jace received the Primaris upgrade, became a Primaris Space Marine, and responded to the Indomitable Crusade.
The scope of the Indomitable Crusade was vast and not limited to a few major battlefields.
Jace did not follow the Regent to exterminate the Undead and Orcs, but instead led the team to help those worlds invaded by Chaos.
When Vigilante sent out a distress signal, he rushed here with his subordinates as soon as possible, and joined forces with the Iron Hands and the Brass Claws to fight against those demons and aliens together.
"It's the Genestealers." Gabriel responded to the Space Wolves, pointing to a ruin.
Some green viscous liquid was scattered on the ruins.
After analysis, it was found that the liquid was the blood of the Genestealer.
"It looks like those aliens had a fight first." Jace said in a deep voice.
"This is undoubtedly good news. I sincerely hope that they can decide the winner and cripple the other side. That way, we will be under much less pressure."
Gabriel, bolter in hand, kicked aside a fragment of the partition, revealing several mangled bodies underneath.
They are all civilians of the Empire.
Gabriel was about to express his anger when he discovered that the dead had marks of the Indomitable Dragon Sect on their bodies.
He had to swallow his anger.
The Unyielding Dragons are an organization founded by the Genestealer Poor Prince, who are planning to overthrow the Empire.
These believers who joined the Cult of the Unyielding Dragon were undoubtedly enemies of the Empire.
They betrayed the Holy Emperor.
"Help me."
A faint voice sounded.
A woman nearby asked for help from Gabriel who was approaching.
She was already dying; the orc had slashed her thigh and the wound was simply bandaged.
Under the woman's body, bright red blood was already flowing all over the ground.
Without help, he would soon die.
"Help me."
Gabriel stood in front of the woman, bolter raised.
"Shameful traitor,"
He then swung his chainsword and showed mercy.
Those traitors who had joined the Genestealer Cult no longer needed to be rescued.
Their souls and genes have been polluted.
Even if this woman is saved, she will not show any gratitude, but will betray humanity once again.
In that case, it would be better to just send him to death.
"A sad guy." Jace walked to Gabriel's side, looked at the broken body, and shook his head.
"There is no time for us to grieve." Gabriel lowered his voice and looked into the distance of the ruins. "There are two ways now, Brother Wolf. The first is to pursue the orcs. They have already withdrawn from the hive, and the Genestealers have caused them a lot of casualties. The second is to hunt down the Genestealers. They have fled to the deep layer of the hive, where the structure is very complicated."
"As a friendly brother, you can choose one of them first."
"Wild wolves don't like to move around in narrow places. We prefer to hunt in the wilderness so that we can release our free nature." Jace said, "For the sake of freedom and hunting, as a wolf priest, I have thought carefully and decided to choose the second option."
Gabriel: ... ... ... .
He turned his head and looked at the serious wolf priest.
I kind of doubt whether my allies have been contaminated by Chaos.
It doesn't look like a wild wolf's style.
Instead, it is more like a special animal unique to Ancient Terra, the Husky.
"Don't wild wolves dislike moving around in narrow places?" Gabriel suppressed his wild thoughts and asked in confusion.
"But wolves are better at hunting enemies in the dark. Your equipment cannot play its best role in the narrow bottom of the nest. Moreover, the stealth and ambush capabilities of those Genestealers should not be underestimated." Jace smiled. "Wild wolves are more experienced in this. We are predators who survive in the dark, and you are the sharp spears on the front battlefield."
Gabriel laughed too, and he bumped his fist against the other man's breastplate.
This is Iron Hands' gesture of friendship.
Gabriel didn't act pretentiously. He led the Iron Hands warriors to chase the orcs.
As the Space Wolves said, the Iron Hands, who pursue mechanical perfection, do focus more on the frontal battlefield.
They have powerful firepower and intelligent machine assistance.
The Iron Hands board a hovergunship and will bring the Emperor's wrath upon those damned Orks.
The wolves watched the Iron Hands warriors leave, then turned around and continued to hunt the Genestealers.
... ... ... ...
... ... ... ... ... ...
Calgar, who was ordered to go to the Vigilance Planet for support, stood next to the Mechanical Sage Regula.
At this time, he was standing on the observation platform of the mechanical ark.
“Is this the latest design of equipment?”
Calga looked at the huge hangar in front of him and the new fighter plane clamped by the mechanical arm, and asked in confusion.
In his opinion, the fighter plane in front of him was ordinary and nothing special.
The design should be based on that of the Valkyrie. The streamlined triangular body is completely different from gunships such as the Stormbird and Thunderhawk.
It looks more technological and has more interstellar characteristics.
But Karga is not the kind of person who cares about appearance.
In his worldview, practicality is more important than appearance.
Flowers are beautiful, but the axe is the key to everything.
Appearance cannot determine the outcome of a battle. Only the power of weapons can determine the outcome of a battle.
"Yes, this is the latest fighter design. The relevant design drawings have been around for a long time, but in the past, reforms and innovations would be targeted by the Martian Mechanicus, so these fighters have never been produced. After the Imperial Regent dismissed the Forging General and abolished most of the technological bans, I built it. If possible, I hope this fighter can be included in your army for testing, so as to collect enough information."
Regula said with a smug smile.
As a radical sage, Regula has always been annoyed by the pedantic Martian conservatives.
It is precisely those regulations that make it difficult to innovate within the Mechanicus.
If you want to invent something, you need to link it to STC in a roundabout way, otherwise you may bring disaster upon yourself.
To be honest, Regula felt that the reason why the rulers of Mars always emphasized the importance of STC was not to maintain the purity of human technology, but to ensure their own power.
Mars was the site of the Great Crusade and was the first Forge World of the Imperium.
During the Great Crusade, Mars determined the ownership of every STC discovered by Imperial expeditionary forces.
For this reason, Mars should have the most STC templates.
Maintaining the special status of STC is to maintain the status of Mars.
After all, if comprehensive scientific research is opened up and some top talents emerge, the technology of that planet will be directly brought to a level higher than that of Mars.
Then Mars will be in a very embarrassing situation.
It claims to be the holy land of the Mechanicus, but its technology is not the best.
In this way, the reputation of the holy land will inevitably be challenged.
Over time, Mars' status will gradually decline, and in the end it may not even be able to maintain its status as a member of the High Lords' Council.
If a system centered on the STC template is established and all technologies are required to come from the STC, then the status of Mars is guaranteed.
After all, they have the most STC templates among all the forging worlds in the galaxy, so their technology is also the strongest and most numerous.
In this way, the status of Mars is naturally protected.
Regula's suspicion was not groundless.
During the Beast Wars, the Martians blatantly violated the decision of the High Lords Council and arbitrarily transferred the orcs' battle moon to the dark void of the solar system to conduct research on it.
Alien Technology Ban Act
Non-STC technology ban bill
None of them complied.
They don't even follow their own rules, so you can imagine what their attitude is.
"If it is to be equipped to the troops, it must have sufficient value." Karga said, "I don't see its value. If it is just a fighter plane, Valkyrie, Stormbird and other fighter planes have been verified for many years and have reliable performance. A little optimization can achieve better results. There is no need to use brand new technology."
"No, no, the positioning of this fighter is completely different from other fighters." Regula waved his hand and opened a holographic interface. "The Empire's weapons and equipment have not been developed for a long time, and many equipment cannot meet the needs of the Empire. For example, the Titan's movement speed is too slow, and it must be delivered to the battlefield by a Titan transport ship to be effective."
"If the distance is too far, we can't rely on the Titans' speed. Even the fastest Cerberus Titans or Knight Titans can hardly guarantee that their mobility can keep up with the Empire's firepower needs. For this reason, the amphibious air-to-ground integrated combat aircraft I designed, the Thunderbird, comes in handy."
As Regula explained, the holographic interface in front of him slowly rotated.
"The Thunderbird fighter has two forms. The first is a flying machine, which adopts the appearance design of the Valkyrie. Its fastest speed can reach the first cosmic speed, which is eight kilometers per second. This speed is enough to support the whole world within half an hour in the atmosphere and carry out precise surgical strikes on the enemy. The second form is the walking mecha form for land combat."
The holographic interface changed again, and the Thunderbird changed from a flying vehicle to a Titan bipedal walking mecha.
"The fighter can transform in the air and then land into a walking mecha to provide fire support for the ground forces. The Thunderbird's firepower is not top-notch. It is only equipped with a plasma cannon and a chainsaw sword, as well as six micro missiles and four rapid-fire machine guns."
"The Thunderbird fighter uses a lot of new technologies introduced by the Imperial Regent. These new technologies are very powerful, especially in the field of materials science. The use of new ductile materials makes the Thunderbird's performance even better than when it was first designed. It can perfectly adapt to the needs of air-to-ground integrated combat, allowing the Empire to strike the world within half an hour."
Regula's explanation made Calgar show an interested expression.
If the Thunderbird can really achieve the functions that Regula said, it will definitely be a historic change in the imperial military forces.
The empire's military strength has increased absolutely explosively.
"Can these functions really be realized? And will such a high speed and integrated air-to-ground combat put too much pressure on the pilot?"
Calgar was no military mediocrity. He knew that once the many functions of the Thunderbird fighter were realized, they would be of great help to the Empire's ground warfare.
"The Thunderbird uses deep immersive neural control to achieve true human-machine integration, allowing them to control the Thunderbird fighter at will to complete transformation and combat missions."
"Sir, I once again request that you list the Thunderbird as combat equipment. Any weapon equipment requires a testing process. Only in this way can we collect enough parameters. It cannot stay in the laboratory forever. That would be useless to the empire."
Calgar looked at the Thunderbird fighter, then looked at Regula who was looking expectant.
After the reforms of the Imperial Regent, the Mechanical Magos gained more technological and scientific powers, but they were also stripped of most of their military power.
The Mechanical Skitarii were incorporated into the Imperial military management system and no longer accepted orders from the Magi.
This is why Regula needs to reach an agreement with Calgar before he can conduct large-scale trials of the Thunderbirds to collect data.
Although he controlled the mechanical ark, his right to military action had been deprived.
"We are still half a month away from Alert Star. How many Thunderbirds can you take out before we reach Alert Star?" Calgar looked at Regula and asked.
"Twenty-four have been produced so far, and it is expected that another forty-eight can be produced before arriving at Alert Star." Regula's mechanical arm slid the holographic screen, which showed the Thunderbird production line.
The Mechanical Ark has a large reserve of strategic materials and can produce most of the empire's weapons and equipment in a self-sufficient manner.
Regula is determined to mass-produce the Thunderbird.
He is very confident about his inventions and innovations.
After receiving the latest material technology provided by the Imperial Regent, he had 200 percent confidence.
He modified the production line early on and had a large number of machine slaves and labor slaves produce related accessories.
At that time, it can be put into use as long as it is assembled.
"I will assign some pilots to you. We still have half a month. I hope you can get them used to the Thunderbird fighters as soon as possible. If you succeed, it will be of great significance to the Imperial Army."
Calgar said to Regula that he agreed to the other party's proposal to test weapons on the Vigilant Star.
"You will not be disappointed, sir."
Regula said, suppressing the excitement in his heart.
... ... ... ... ... ... ... ..
... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... .
As the void twisted, rays of blasphemous light from the Warp gushed out from the cracks.
Warships filled with chaotic aura emerged from it.
These ships did not activate the Geller force field, which caused their warships to be severely distorted.
The surface of the ship was covered with dense bones and corpses, as well as various kinds of flesh and blood and strangely spreading shadows.
This Chaos fleet is huge in number.
Leading the group is the Messenger of Apocalypse, who has been included on the kill list by the Imperial Navy.
This is a ship with a huge eye on its bow.
The blood-red eye was rotating in the void as the warship moved.
Full of extreme malice.
Just looking at it makes people feel nervous and terrified.
It feels like my soul is being devoured.
The owner of this ship is called Harkon the Star Reaper.
It was he who issued the Vigilance Star Declaration.
Now, he has come to fulfill his promise.
Harkon the Star-Reaver was chosen by the Four Gods and is Abaddon's mouthpiece.
He served Abaddon long before he founded the Black Legion, a man dedicated to the destruction of the Imperium.
Hakon holds a high position in the Black Legion, commanding a massive Chaos force that conquers world after world for Abaddon.
He would often drive a spear into the surface of a planet to declare the world dead.
Before Abaddon's army arrives, Hakon will act as a vanguard, sowing the seeds of chaos and fear in the enemy's positions, weakening the enemy's defenses, and destroying the enemy's command and supply centers.
Harkon often launches massacres to break the will of those who resist and enslave mortals as slaves of the Black Legion.
"What's the situation?" Haken asked in a low voice, sitting on his own throne.
"Everything is going well. Our fleet has been assembled." The captain next to him responded to the master he served.
Because of long-term exposure to the warp, many people in the Black Legion have mutated.
The captain of the Apocalypse Messenger is no exception.
His face had turned into wriggling pink flesh, his eyes had turned into yellow-brown snake-like ones, his mouth was protruding, and when he opened it one could see the sharp fangs inside. If he was bitten by one, the target would be torn to pieces.
The fingers became slender, like flexible tentacles, and the bones in the body seemed to have disappeared, becoming soft.
Harken nodded, smiling as he watched the enemy appear on the screen in front of him.
"We have to work fast, otherwise if the Warmaster arrives and we haven't finished it yet, we will be punished."
"Don't worry, soon their naval force is too weak to be a threat at all. Although they have been replenished with warships from some regiments, they are completely different from our team." The captain tapped his fingers on the screen and called up the defense map of the Alert Star Void.
Alert Planet was not a front line of the battlefield before, so not many defense space stations were built, nor was a complete void defense system created.
"Kill them and dedicate this planet to the great Lord Abaddon. Let those who believe in the Corpse King know that this is the era of Warmaster Abaddon. Their stubborn resistance will only bring destruction to themselves."
Star Reaver Harken said in a firm tone.
"Understood, sir, this planet will soon become your trophy." The captain said loudly.
The Vigilance Star's naval fleet cannot compare with the Chaos fleet in terms of size or firepower.
It would be very funny to try to win by relying on military proficiency.
Haken and others are antiques who have lived for a long time.
The captain served Haken during the first expedition.
In terms of tactics and age, the fleet loyal to the Corpse King are just hairless little brats.
Even though the coordination between the Chaos fleets was not perfect, the captain of the Apocalypse Herald quickly tore through the Imperial Navy and destroyed those defensive space stations that were unwilling to surrender.
Soon, the outer orbit of Vigilante fell into the hands of Harkonn the Star Reaper.
Their arrival greatly encouraged the Chaos Warbands and various Chaos Sects that were already active on the Vigilant Star.
Haken thought that the planet would surrender soon, but who would have thought that the Iron Hands came too quickly. The planetary governor who was about to kneel down and surrender decisively backed down and turned into a loyal servant of the Emperor again.
Afterwards, a large number of Space Marines arrived to form a larger support team.
The Chaos Warriors who had originally landed to intimidate the local dignitaries with force were suppressed and even wiped out at one point.
Realizing that he could not use intimidation to force Vigilant to surrender, Haken had to take action himself.
He didn't want to be treated as waste by Abaddon.
If that were the case, life would be worse than death.
Abaddon will not show any mercy to a piece of trash.
"Start the airborne attack. It's time to let those guys know the consequences of disobeying the Great Predator. Let the whole world burn and offer a precious gift to the great god and the great warmaster."
Haken opened his arms and shouted at the Black Legion soldiers who continued to roar.
All the soldiers of the Black Legion shouted excitedly.
They stepped towards the Hell Claw, and with the help of the fallen Mechanicus members, entered the cabin and prepared to land.
After reaching a certain distance, the Apocalypse Messenger threw out a large number of Hell Claw airdrop pods.
Drop pods fell on cities that had lost their shields due to the warp storms.
These places all use shields powered by psionic technology.
Warp storms created aether leaks that shook these shields to their very foundations.
All these psychic shields were paralyzed.
Those airdrop pods smashed heavily to the ground like fireballs, making a loud bang and causing dense cracks to appear on the ground.
The city made a rumbling sound, and a large number of buildings collapsed under such a horrible impact, turning into ruins amid smoke, dust and screams.
Under the horrified gazes of the citizens, the hatch of the Hell Claw was bounced open with a hissing sound of high-pressure gas.
Warriors wearing heavy armor decorated with spikes and skulls swarmed out of it.
The demons followed closely behind, appearing in the city along with the hosts of the real universe.
Seeing the traitors and the demons, the citizens screamed in fear, then turned around and fled into the distance.
All the warriors of the Black Legion showed cruel smiles.
These stupid guys who are loyal to the Corpse King should be completely eliminated.
Use countless deaths to let the entire empire know one thing.
Now, it is the era of Abaddon.
Those who follow the will of the army will live, while those who go against the will of the army will die.
If the Vigilant Star dares not to accept the Great Predator's ultimatum, it will be courting its own destruction.
Even if the Iron Hands and those chapters come to support us, what can we do
In front of the Warmaster, these warbands are nothing but small trash that can be easily destroyed.
