"Harry, what does Professor Lockhart want from you?"
After Harry came back, Hermione couldn't wait to go up and ask.
"Lockhart said he could give me additional lessons in Defense Against the Dark Arts and even teach me how to play Quidditch." Harry couldn't hide his disgust when talking about this. "But I refused."
"Lockhart actually plays Quidditch?" Ron blinked in disbelief. "I thought he only gave autographs."
"You shouldn't say that about Professor Lockhart." Hermione frowned in dissatisfaction and reminded, "Many professors have their own clubs. Maybe Professor Lockhart just wants to invite Harry to join his club."
"The Gilderoy Lockhart Club?" sneered Ron.
After noticing Hermione's unfriendly look, Harry quickly changed the subject and said, "Hermione, how do you know that professors have their own clubs?"
"Albert told me that if you have excellent grades, you will be invited by the professors to join the club." Hermione stopped at the corner of the corridor and turned to the two of them and said, "Members of Professor McGonagall's Transfiguration Club often publish papers in the academic journal Transfiguration Today. Albert has published several papers in it, so Harry, you shouldn't be..."
"I think it's more reliable for you to worship Albert than Lockhart." Ron interrupted, "At least, Albert is really great and a good person."
"He's great at Quidditch too." Harry remembered that Albert had helped Hogwarts win the Quidditch trophy last semester.
"Hermione, don't tell me you've joined the Gilderoy Lockhart Club?"
"There aren't any clubs like that in school," Hermione retorted.
"Who knows?" muttered Ron. "I remember you circled all of Lockhart's classes with hearts."
Hermione glared at Ron angrily and walked away in a hurry.
"You shouldn't have irritated her." Harry looked at Hermione's departing back, shook his head and said to Ron, "It's not sensible to discuss this kind of thing with her."
"I'm just stating the facts." Ron continued, "Last time, I heard from Fred that there is actually an 'Albert Anderson Worship Club' in school. It's not surprising that there is a 'Gilderoy Lockhart Worship Club'."
"Are you sure about the Albert Anderson Worship Club?" Harry asked in shock and disbelief.
"It's the Wizard Card Club founded by Albert." Ron explained in a low voice, "I heard from them that many people who admire Albert have applied to join the club, or at least put their names on the list. Most of the students in the school are members of the club. Now everyone privately calls it the Albert Anderson Worship Club."
The corners of Harry's mouth twitched slightly. He, Ron and Hermione were also members of the Wizarding Card Club, but they seldom attended the member gatherings held at the end of the month.
"Maybe one day Colin Creevey will take the initiative to form a 'Harry Potter Worship Club' for you." Ron joked.
"Don't talk nonsense." Harry quickly changed the subject, "You really don't want me to lend you some Galleons to buy a new wand?"
"No need, just use that broken wand. I'm used to it anyway." Although Ron really wanted a new wand, he finally did not borrow money from Harry because he knew he could not pay it back.
No matter how cheap a wand is, it still costs seven or eight Galleons. An expensive wand even costs more than ten Galleons. With Ron's current empty wallet, he may not be able to pay off the money even after graduation.
So, Ron had no choice but to refuse.
The champion of each Wizard Card Tournament will receive a reward of ten Galleons. It would be great if you could win the Wizard Card Tournament.
Unfortunately, Ron's wizard card skills are terrible.
There was no hope of getting a new wand for the time being, so Ron could only wait until next semester, when his parents had calmed down, and then ask his family to buy him a new wand.
However, Ron didn't know that his father was still suspended under investigation, and whether he could return to his original position was still a big question.
As soon as the two returned to the common room, they saw Fred and George hurried over there.
"Harry, can you do us a favor?" Fred said with a wink.
"What's going on?" Ron asked.
"Ginny seems to have a cold, but she just doesn't want to go to the school hospital. We hope you and Harry can help us persuade Ginny to go to the school hospital and let Madam Pomfrey treat her." George explained.
"Ginny is sick?"
"Well, haven't you noticed that Ginny has been looking pale and sickly lately?" Fred's face showed an expression that showed that you are an incompetent brother.
"Even if you say so..." Harry hesitated. He doubted whether he could convince Ginny. Harry was not really familiar with Ron's sister, and he didn't understand why Fred and George came to him for help.
"You and Ron can just go together," Fred pleaded. "Ginny has admired you since she was a child. I think she will definitely listen to you and go to the school hospital obediently."
Harry opened his mouth, not knowing what to say.
Finally, Harry agreed.
He told Ginny to go to the school hospital to see a doctor with one sentence: "If you are sick, it is better to go to the school hospital to see Madam Pomfrey."
"Thank you Harry."
As he spoke, George pulled out a brooch from his pocket and put it into Harry's hand. It was a brooch with a lightning bolt logo on it. "By the way, do you remember Colin Creevey? He's the first-year student who admires you very much. The day before yesterday, he spent a few Sickles to have us make a few brooches. It seems that he is planning to set up a Harry Potter worship club for you."
Harry looked at the lightning brooch in his hand in astonishment, then turned to look at Ron and said unhappily, "Thank you so much for your crow's mouth."
"I was just saying that." Ron took the brooch from Harry's hand, looked at it carefully and said, "This brooch looks... good. Harry, where are you going?"
"Go find Colin Creevey. I have to make him give up this stupid idea." Harry walked away in a hurry. He really couldn't imagine what Lockhart would do after knowing that someone had set up a "Harry Potter Worship Club" for him.
Harry had had enough of Lockhart's harassment.
On the other side, the Weasley twins finally brought their sister to the school hospital. The situation here seemed not very good. Due to the rainy season and cold waves, many students caught colds.
"Just drink this cup and you'll be fine."
Madam Pomfrey scooped a large spoonful of the spirit-boosting potion from the cauldron and handed it to Ginny Weasley.
"Can you please not drink?"
Ginny glanced at the unfortunate guy next to her who had just finished drinking the stimulant and had smoke coming out of his ears, and she couldn't help feeling a little resistant.
"Drink it, and you'll be well soon." Fred handed the cup of stimulant to Ginny, "When the time comes, I'll give you a gift. You'll definitely like it."
"What gift?"
"This is a brooch from the Harry Potter Adoration Club." George took out a lightning brooch from his pocket and put it in Ginny's hand.
Ginny clutched the brooch in her hand, took the glass of stimulant and drank it.
The next moment, the girl's face turned red, and steam kept coming out of her like a boiling kettle.
