Daily Life at Hogwarts

Chapter 577: Misunderstand

The next morning, when Albert woke up, the three beds next to him were empty.

Albert got up very late today because he was busy last night and didn't go to bed until midnight.

However, all the efforts last night were worth it. Tom Riddle, the boss behind the attack, and his Horcrux diary had been clearly arranged by Albert, and the process was simpler than expected.

In short, he attacked Tom Riddle, who was controlling Ginny Weasley, without warning, and stole Tom's diary, hiding the Horcrux in the Room of Requirement, temporarily ending the recent series of attacks on Hogwarts.

There is nothing more worth celebrating than this. It doesn’t matter if I stay in bed since I don’t have to go to school on Sunday anyway.

The school was temporarily safe, which made Albert breathe a sigh of relief. He no longer had to be nervous all day and worry that he would be attacked by the basilisk at any time.

After all, this would always be a big problem for Albert until he found a way to deal with the death glare from the basilisk's eyes.

Now, with Tom Riddle's diary in hand, it is Albert's final say on how to deal with that guy.

When he went downstairs for breakfast, Albert noticed that the hall was still very quiet. Most of the Gryffindor students were still immersed in the joy of defeating Slytherin. No one noticed that Colin Creevey had been attacked and was now lying in the ward like a dead man.

However, when Ginny woke up in the morning and discovered that Tom's diary was missing, she behaved a little abnormally.

After all, no one wants their privacy to be known by others.

At noon, Albert went to the library to find Fred, George and Lee Jordan. These three guys didn't do their homework properly. They were mysterious all afternoon and no one knew what they were doing.

"We are preparing Christmas gifts for you. You will definitely have unexpected surprises." Fred said mysteriously when Albert asked.

"Surprise, I think it's more like shock."

Albert was not interested in the Christmas gifts from the three people and did not express any expectations.

"Don't you have to do your homework?"

Looking at these guys who were slacking off, Albert cruelly reminded them, "If you don't hand in that interspecies transformation paper tomorrow, Professor McGonagall will definitely put you in detention until you finish your homework."

"I think you wouldn't mind letting us learn from you!" The three looked at Albert expectantly.

"I don't mind, but... I don't have to write that paper." Albert suddenly laughed maliciously.

"Why."

The three of them spoke so loudly that all the students around them looked over.

"Because I have already written it before." Albert said without hesitation, "Professor McGonagall thinks there is no need for me to spend extra time on this paper."

"What about your paper?"

"At Professor McGonagall's place." Albert raised the corners of his mouth with pleasure.

"Woo, woo, how can this be possible?"

"You guys work hard!"

Before Madam Pince cast her gaze over to him, Albert stood up and left the library.

When passing by the girls' bathroom on the second floor, I saw three figures sneaking out of the girls' bathroom.

"you… "

Albert stopped and looked at the trio in front of him in silence. He looked up at the sign above as if to confirm, and whispered softly, "It's the girls' restroom for sure."

"We..." Hermione hesitated.

"Okay, don't stay here and talk." Albert raised his hand to stop Hermione from arguing, and after leading the three of them out of the corridor, he reminded her, "You probably don't know that a few years ago, a Slytherin boy found a lame excuse for himself and tried to break into the girls' bathroom to peek. He was caught by the girls on the spot, and now there are no girls in the school who are willing to talk to him."

Harry and Ron were speechless, just staring blankly like toads.

"Although I don't know what you are doing in there, but... if you don't want to be looked at differently by others, it's better... not to go to the women's restroom again." Albert kindly reminded: "Otherwise? Others will think you are doing something unspeakable in there."

"that… "

Harry and Ron came to their senses with embarrassed faces? They were bumped into by Albert as they were coming out of the ladies' room? It was really... It made them want to dig a hole and bury themselves on the spot.

"Well... this place has been abandoned."

"You probably don't want to be considered a pervert by the girls." Albert raised his hand and patted Harry's shoulder and said, "This is just a friendly reminder."

Looking at Albert's leaving back, Harry and Ron were completely confused. They really wanted to say to Albert that you really misunderstood, but the other party did not give them any chance at all.

"He won't tell Percy about this, will he?" Ron looked at Harry anxiously. "If Fred and George knew about this, I would definitely be laughed at by them for the whole semester."

"Don't worry, he won't do that." Hermione comforted, "Albert is a good man. He won't spread what happened today. He is just doing this for our own good. He is worried that we will be looked at strangely by others because of this."

Harry was silent; he had had similar experiences before.

Last year, he, Neville and Hermione were deducted 150 points because of Norbert's problem. That was the most difficult time for him since he came to Hogwarts.

"I'll go explain it to him."

"this… "

"I borrowed 'Powerful Potion' from Albert." Hermione interrupted, "Maybe Albert can provide us with some help."

"He borrowed the book?" Harry was a little surprised. He remembered that Madam Pince seemed to say that the book was lost.

"That's true to some extent." Hermione said and quickly chased after Albert's departing back.

"I think Hermione trusts Anderson very much," Harry said to Ron in a low voice.

"You have to admit that he is much more reliable than that idiot Lockhart." Ron thought of what he had heard from Fred not long ago, and connected it to what Professor McGonagall told Professor Flitwick in the morning about the attack last night.

Those amulets should be very popular!

"You're right, I always feel that Anderson knows a lot of things." Harry recalled Albert's speculation about the Chamber of Secrets. Maybe he knew more about these things than they did.

On the other side, Hermione trotted after Albert and explained why the three of them came out of the girls' bathroom.

"This morning, Professor McGonagall told Professor Flitwick about the attack that happened last night." Hermione lowered her voice and said, "So, we decided to brew the Polyjuice Potion first. I think that's the safest place. The girls' bathroom has been abandoned for many years because of Myrtle. I think basically no one will go in there, and no one will find out that we are secretly brewing the Polyjuice Potion."

"Who was attacked?" Albert asked in a puzzled manner.

"Colin Creevey," Hermione replied. "We thought it would be best to get Malfoy to come clean as soon as possible. He's probably taking it out on Colin because he lost the Quidditch match."

"Has the first Muggle wizard victim appeared?" Albert looked up at Hermione and reminded her, "I remember you were also born in a Muggle family. You'd better not be alone."

"If you want to brew a polyjuice potion, that place is very suitable, but it's better to be safe. I heard that Potter has an invisibility cloak. You can use it to hide from other people's eyes, so that others will not think that Potter and Weasley have a habit of breaking into the girls' bathroom and peeping."
