Extraordinary Genius

Chapter 1470: This is what I said

Views:

Recently, many people on the Internet have criticized me, saying that I have disrupted the order of the industry. So what is the order of the industry

I think industry order should include technology market order, talent market order, business market order, investment and development order, etc. I am not an expert and cannot speak in professional terms. Today I will only share my views from a consumer perspective.

As a consumer of IT products, I take the most intuitive computer as an example. I want to buy a computer. There are two ways to order online or in a physical store.

To use a computer, in addition to buying the computer, I also need to install the software I need to use.

So I planned to buy a computer at a cost of 6,000 yuan, and I chose a computer priced at 5,999 yuan. However, when I actually bought it, the cost would be higher than this.

Because I need to install software, and most basic of all, I need to install the system. There are two mainstream options here, one is Lianxiang Yinshan's xos CD and Microsoft's vista CD.

The retail price of the former, if it is a pre-installed system, should be 199 yuan. And what about Microsoft? The retail price is several times that, and even a pre-installed system costs close to a thousand yuan.

This does not include buying a desktop computer, which generally requires a C-board, network cables, and network installation. These related products cost another sum of money.

Brain cost + software price + store cost + accessory price + profit

What is the true cost of a computer here? How much is the profit? Who made the biggest profit

The rent of the store, the profit of the agent, the profit of the PC manufacturer, the profit of the software manufacturer... There are too many people sharing the money.

And who has the highest profit margin? Microsoft.

Microsoft claims to have invested tens of billions of dollars in developing Vista, but where did these tens of billions of dollars come from? The profits they earned from selling the XP system were enough to conduct research and development more than a dozen times!

Where does Bill Gates' wealth come from? It's all from Microsoft. Where is my wealth? It comes from a variety of investments. The profits from IT investments are not the majority of my income.

I just invest in many industries, each of which can bring a little bit of profit in the future. Taken together, my income has increased a lot.

Having said that, as consumers, we all want to buy our favorite products at lower prices. But as a manufacturer and seller, we hope that the profit will be high enough.

How to form a balance between the two, I think it is best to use the concept of a supermarket to operate. To put it simply, it means small profits but quick turnover.

I want to create a computer industry with small profits but quick turnover. Whether it is hardware or software, manufacturers must make profits, but the profit per product should not be so high.

Now I have invested in various hardware accessories, software, and PC manufacturers, just to give consumers a reasonable price.

And the result? I have touched the interests of those manufacturers, and they have united to attack me, slander me, and accuse me of disrupting the order of the industry

Maintaining high profits, even if the product cannot be sold, will not sell at a reduced price. Is this their order

Defining computers as high-end electronic products, rather than ordinary household appliances, is this their order

If someone lowers prices and gives profits to consumers, is that a violation of order

If these are their so-called industry orders, then I have to say that none of the companies I invest in will abide by these "orders"!

They turn order into a shackles, hoping to lock in other companies and profits, so that consumers will follow them and keep consumers in the dark.

I will break this shackles, break the order, and re-establish a new and reasonable order!

Many people once regarded Bill Gates as a role model, dropped out of school and established a huge Microsoft empire. However, without Paul Allen, how could Bill Gates have succeeded

And many people may not know it well. Bill Gates' mother was once a good friend of IBM's chairman and CEO. They worked together. She was an executive of an intercontinental bank.

This is why Bill Gates' original software was sold to IBM, and why Microsoft's DOS was promoted by IBM and became an industry standard with IBM's help.

Going to school and doing business are not in conflict with each other. I finished my studies, so today I can surpass Bill Gates in wealth.

Those who regard dropping out of school as a golden rule and believe that the world waits for no one are deceived by this story. I don't deny that Bill Gates is excellent, but don't forget that Paul Allen and Steve Ballmer, who started the business with him, without their efforts and the help of Bill's mother, there would be no Microsoft. today.

What I want to say is that Bill Gates is not a good role model. Our young people must not learn from it unless your mother also has an unparalleled background.

Let's talk about Intel. They have always claimed that their products are the best in the world, but under the witness of hundreds of media around the world, their products were completely defeated by AMD.

We should be aware that for most standard products, the greater the output, the lower the cost. However, Intel's output is obviously higher than that of Chaowei, and its performance is the same as Chaowei, or even worse than Chaowei, but the price is much higher.

So relatively speaking, Intel's profits are much higher.

Chaowei's selling price at this time can guarantee normal profits. Ordinarily, Intel's profits should be higher at the same price. If not, then there are only two possibilities.

The first is to lie because of your specialness. The second type, Intel's technology, is not as good as Chaowei's. As for which one it is, I'm also curious.

If Intel lied, their profits would be huge profits. If Intel is not lying, then their technology research and development is indeed inferior to AMD.

Here I would like to ask the representative of Intel, which of my guesses is correct? Or is there a third possibility, a combination of both

There are also those PC manufacturers who continue to attack Lianxiang Group. Why, because the cost performance of their products is far inferior to Lianxiang's models. Their 10,000 yuan laptop has worse performance than Lianxiang's 8,000 yuan laptop.

They did not want to lower their selling prices, but instead asked Lianxiang Group to increase their selling prices. Frankly speaking, if Lianxiang Group's selling price increases, although sales may decrease, the profit of a single product will increase a lot, and Lianxiang Group may earn more.

But we did not choose this. We chose to allow more consumers to purchase computers at reasonable prices. We wanted to make computers an ordinary household product instead of a so-called high-end electronic product.

These are the words I want to say today, the words of a conscientious entrepreneur!

… (To be continued.)
