Shen Luo and Zhu Mangqi immediately left Luoxia Island and headed straight for Qingxu Island.
Qingxu Island is the second largest island among the ten islands of Dahe, second only to Bangyi Island, and is also where pearl divers gather.
The reason is simple. It is because of the special terrain of the island that there is an underground passage that leads directly to the depths of the ravine. It can not only reach the deep sea waters where the water eaters live and multiply, but also avoid the attacks of water monsters in the ravines.
Shen Luo changed his body shape and came with Zhu Mangqi to the place where the southern part of Qingxu Island and Hongye Island met. They heard the rumbling sound of flowing water from afar and saw a hundred-foot-long waterfall with white waves surging between the two islands, falling into the abyss below.
Dahe is not simply a sea area surrounded by circular islands. The ten islands around it are of high terrain, and the area surrounded in the middle is an extremely huge sinkhole. The sea water is accumulated deep at the bottom of the sinkhole.
There are four waterfalls between the ten islands, which continuously pour water from the South China Sea into the ravine. However, the water level of the ravine has not changed at all in millions of years, and it will never be filled up.
The entrance to the earth's core passage was not too far from the waterfall. When the two arrived, they saw a stone arch several feet high on a mountain wall. There were obvious signs of artificial decoration on the outside, and a large number of fish and dragon patterns were carved on it.
Outside the door, there were many soldiers and generals stationed. It was obvious at a glance that they were from the Dragon Palace of the South China Sea.
Before Shen Luo and his companion could get close, they were blocked by a group of Dragon Palace shrimp soldiers.
"Who dares to trespass here? Do you want to die?" shouted a red-headed shrimp soldier in the lead.
Zhu Mangqi couldn't help but feel a little flustered when he saw this.
"We are pearl divers, and we are ordered by the Dragon Palace to go to the big abyss to collect the Water and Fire Pills." Shen Luo walked up calmly and spoke.
Zhu Mangqi glanced at Shen Luo, who lied without thinking, and secretly admired him in his heart, thinking that he was worthy of being a disciple of Mount Putuo.
"On the orders of the Dragon Palace? Do you have a handwritten order from the Dragon King?" the red-headed shrimp soldier asked with some confusion.
Shen Luo naturally didn't have such a thing. Just as he was about to make up another excuse to fool people, he suddenly heard footsteps behind him.
"Greetings to His Royal Highness the Crown Prince." The other shrimp soldiers suddenly stood up and spoke in unison.
Shen Luo and the other person turned around hurriedly and saw a tall man in golden armor walking towards them, escorted by a team of guards.
It has majestic dragon horns on its head, golden scales on its cheeks, and a fierce look in its eyes and eyebrows.
Seeing this, Shen Luo and the other man had no choice but to clasp their fists and push back.
"Who is this?" Shen Luo asked, transmitting his voice to Zhu Mangqi.
After waiting for a long time, Zhu Mangqi replied tremblingly: "This is Ao Zhan, the eldest son of the Dragon King of the South China Sea."
The two of them originally planned to sneak in, but they never expected to meet him here.
Ao Zhan ignored everyone and walked past them. Only then did Shen Luo notice that there were some human beings mixed in between the two rows of Dragon Palace guards, and they all looked unhappy.
But halfway through the journey, Ao Zhan suddenly turned around and asked, "What are these two people doing?"
"Reporting to His Royal Highness, they claim that they were ordered by the Dragon Palace to go down and collect the Water and Fire Pills." The red-headed shrimp soldier replied immediately.
