Everyone walked along a narrow mountain road towards the small village.
Turning around the hill, the eyes suddenly opened up.
The land in the valley was well-organized and leveled. At this time of autumn, the golden ears of the wheat field were hanging down, and a wave of wheat was blowing in the wind.
In the wheat field, six or seven farmers are harvesting grain. The houses at the far end look like green pools, and bamboo and mulberry forests extend in front of and behind the house.
On both sides of the road, there is a bamboo forest on the left and a wheat field on the right.
Outside the bamboo forest, beside the ancient road, there is a square bamboo pavilion erected.
Beside the pavilion is a small stream with gurgling water, and next to the Ge'an stream is a small post that bends with the water, the scenery is clear and elegant.
The horizontal eyebrows are carved with an ax and a knife is usually written with two big characters "Confucian scholars".
The breeze is coming, the bamboo leaves are rustling, and the stream is gurgling, which makes people refreshed. The physical fatigue and mental dryness before disappear in an instant, and the body and mind are light for a while.
What a mountain and village.
Everyone took a deep breath and relaxed.
Such a leisurely and forgetful field scenery makes people feel lazy, and they really can't arouse the interest in fighting. It's hard to believe that there will be a conspiracy in such an environment that will spoil the scenery.
Sun Kun sat down in the bamboo pavilion, then fell back on the chair, laughed and said, "It's comfortable here, Yan Jingliu found such a good place, no wonder he didn't want to set foot in the rivers and lakes."
"Confucian scholars." Feng Qingyan looked at Hengmei, and said calmly: "Using bamboo forests as Confucian scholars shows that Master Yan has a broad mind."
"Second Martial Uncle, it's just a forest, how can you see people's hearts?" Lu Yunming asked in surprise.
Feng Qingyan chuckled, turned to look at Sun Kejian, and said, "There is a master of Confucianism here. If you have such a problem, why don't you humbly ask for advice?"
Lu Yunming hastily bowed deeply.
Sun Kejian smiled warmly, patted Lu Yunming's little head, and replied: "What Confucianism learns, the first is self-cultivation, and the second is to regulate the family, govern the country, and calm the world. The former is the inner sage, and the latter is the outer king. The way of the sage, to put it bluntly, is to make Confucian students a gentleman. Bamboo is a gentleman.”
All the young people let out an "oh", but their pursuing eyes were still fixed on Sun Kejian.
Sun Kejian continued: "Bamboo has seven virtues:
The body is straight, rather than bent; it is said to be upright.
Although there are bamboo joints, it does not stop; it is called forging ahead.
The outside is straight and hollow, and the heart is like a valley; this is called openness.
There are flowers that don't bloom, and the plain face is facing the sky; it is simple.
Detached and independent, standing upright; it is called drow.
Although it is called drow, it is not like pine; it is called good group.
Containing articles and handing them down to the world, hard work and no complaints; it is called responsibility.
With these seven virtues, it is called a 'gentleman'. This is also a portrayal of Yan Jingliu's life. "
When everyone heard it, they all worshiped him.
Lu Yunxuan shook her head, and said: "It seems that Mr. Yan is pretty good, but it's a pity that he doesn't know how to teach disciples. Not only is the Confucian Academy full of evil spirits, but even the disciples he personally taught are idiots."
"Yunxuan." He Qingzhu scolded softly, "Don't be rude."
Lu Yunxuan tilted her head, and muttered in a low voice, "That's what it is."
Sun Kejian sighed, and said, "The Yan Jingliu I know is by no means such an imbecile, but the reality is disappointing. I hope this time we meet, we can understand the root cause."
At this time, behind Xiaogang, there was a melodious flute sound.
Jingling bells, ox hooves trampling, the bells are crisp, everyone looked up, and there was a small boy riding a bull on the back of a big buffalo, playing a simple and cheerful flute sound.
The big buffalo walked slowly to the side of the pavilion, and the shepherd boy also put down his bamboo flute, looked at the strangers and said with a smile, "Excuse me, all distinguished guests, are you here to see Master Jingliu?"
With a clear and crisp voice and clear thinking, the little shepherd boy was so sensible and mature beyond his age.
Everyone couldn't help but rejoice.
Sun Kun took a step forward and shouted, "Little boy, did Yan Jingliu ask you to pick us up?"
The little boy nodded solemnly, bowed deeply on the bull's back, and said respectfully: "Junior Qin Muqing, under the order of Master Jingliu, is here to welcome you. Seniors, please go with this junior."
After speaking, he turned the bull's head and walked in the direction he came from.
The crowd followed closely behind, and after passing the small hillock, the mountain road winds upwards, with ancient trees on both sides, flourishing and leisurely.
After turning a corner, a moss-striped archway appeared in front of you. The thick and vigorous tree trunks and dense evergreen leaves shaded the archway engraved with the four characters "Meditation and Thoughts", forming a stunning scene. Beautiful picture scroll.
So far, everyone's hearts are peaceful, and all worries and worries have been put aside.
Looking at the four big characters of "Meditate and Recite", everyone showed admiration and admiration.
Sun Kejian took a long breath, and said lightly: "This heart does not move, it moves randomly. The heart is like a mirror, responding to the feeling, and shining on everything."
This is the most important principle of Confucianism - everyone in the world has thoughts and ambitions. In order not to let obsessions kidnap the body and mind, one should regard a heart as a mirror, clear and bright, and everything can be seen until they are gone. Nor does it leave any traces.
In this way, a person can deal with any event in a clear and orderly manner, without being dragged down by desires and emotions.
Feng Qingyan chuckled, and said again: "A perfect person's heart is like a mirror, he will not greet you, and he will not hide when he responds."
This is the famous saying of Zhuangzi of Taoism, and it is also a famous saying for cleansing the body and mind.
Miaoxiu clasped her hands together and said in agreement: "The Dao must flow freely, why is it stagnant? If the mind does not stop the Dharma, the Dao will flow; if the mind stays in the Dharma, it is called self-binding."
Miaoxiu responded with Buddhist Zen, and she said the same reasoning.
The three of them respectively explained the meaning of the four words "quiet with mind" with the words of Buddhism, Taoism and Confucianism, which complement each other quite well.
After saying that, the three looked at each other and laughed, in a happy state.
After passing the archway, the left side of the road suddenly opens up, a pool of clear water runs straight ahead, and huts and houses are hidden in the forest behind, from which the stream flows slowly.
In the outermost room, under a towering locust tree, there is a small elementary school with mats hanging to the west. The sound of immature reading can be heard from the school——
"The way of a university is to be virtuous, to be close to the people, and to be good..."
An old man in a Confucian robe and a Confucian crown on his head is holding a book of sages and sages, reading and explaining the scriptures for all the students.
Looking from a distance, the old man was born with a very tall stature, with broad shoulders and narrow waist, and two long and straight legs, which actually had the momentum and demeanor to prop him up to the clouds.
Everyone bypassed the pool and walked towards the school.
Unobstructed unexpectedly, not only did no one come out to stop it, even half a person was not seen.
The path follows the stream, and more than a dozen simple but spotless quiet rooms lean against the stream and follow the twists and turns on both sides of the stream. The heights are orderly, giving people a sense of natural harmony. The bridge connects the two sides, and the beauty of the environment is more refreshing than the gorgeous palace.
Before the school, the old man finally finished his explanation and turned his head slowly.
At this moment, everyone finally saw Yan Jingliu, the world-renowned great master of Confucianism and the dean of Confucian Academy.
