Shrouded Seascape

Chapter 751: West

For the next period of time, the Foundation seemed to have really compromised. The entire sea was calm, without any abnormalities, and it seemed that everything was over.

But both sides knew that this situation would never happen, and that things would eventually be resolved, so they began to take action.

The first mate of the Narwhal woke up from a chaotic dream. He dreamed that a woman with blonde hair and a ponytail was hugging him and crying silently.

For the bandages, this kind of messy information has become a good adaptation, and it will appear in their dreams and hallucinations from time to time.

He knew that those were his past memories, but there were too many and too complicated fragmented memories, as if there were several completely different memories.

West silently got up from the bed, walked to the table, took off the cap of the pen, and wrote down all the information in his dream. He had to record it as soon as possible, otherwise he would soon forget it.

After sketching a rough outline of the woman's appearance, West quickly turned the pages and picked up some skins with various phrases tattooed on them. Those were the skins he had peeled off from his own body, with some scattered information tattooed on them.

He tried to find related clues from this information. If he could successfully piece together one of the memories, he might be able to sort out some of his own memories.

However, he gave up after comparing for a while, as this was too difficult.

West stood up, grabbed the bandage on the table and was about to wrap it around himself, but he stopped soon. Now that they were on the island, there was no need for him to do this anymore.

Silently putting on the green clothes of the Hope Island postman, he turned and walked out of his bedroom.

"Wits, are you up? Breakfast will take a while, make it first." Hearing West's footsteps, Elena came out from the kitchen.

Waiters turned his head and saw his sister sitting on the sofa reading a newspaper in the beautifully decorated hall, but his brother was nowhere to be seen.

"Where is he? Hasn't he woken up yet?" Vestra opened the dining table and sat down upright.

In Hope Island, it was very rare for his family to not have a single servant. Fortunately, his mother was in good health, so it was easy for her to clean the house or prepare meals for the three siblings.

"He didn't come back yesterday after he went out with someone else. It was a girl! Don't tell mother. Mark asked us to keep it a secret."

Hearing the voice of his sister Lucy coming out from behind the newspaper, West frowned slightly. "It's too early."

"It's getting late. Mark is already fourteen, and my classmates all come to school with big bellies."

Just as she finished speaking, Elena came out of the kitchen with breakfast. She quickly put down the newspaper in her hand and went to help.

The breakfast was not very rich, but it was much better than what we had on the Narwhal. At least on Hope Island, there was nothing else but fresh seafood.

West picked up the black plastic food in the bowl with a spoon and started chewing it with a crunching sound. He had seen this thing before when he was exploring at sea.

This is a layer of black film on the inside of the jellyfish. There are not many of them in a jellyfish, so it is not easy to collect them, but as long as they are kneaded together to make pudding or boiled into soup, they taste very delicious.

After swallowing the food in his mouth, he used a fork to fork the charred grilled fish. The fresh grilled fish that was crispy on the outside and tender on the inside was definitely not comparable to canned fish or pickled fish. Fresh food had a special taste.

Elena felt her eldest son's gaze, she raised her head and smiled at him and asked, "Have you dealt with the big things?"

Waiters shook his head, "No. But the captain has taken over."

"Oh, that's good. After all the disasters we've been through, it's time for us to have better luck."

The girl next to her didn't think so. She picked up the newspaper, pointed at a piece of news published on it and said exaggeratedly, "How can we be so lucky? Look, since the last incident where everyone fell to the ground and screamed in pain, many people have gone crazy! They have all become fanatical believers of Futan, and the newly opened mental hospitals can no longer accommodate them."

West looked at the photo in the center of the newspaper. In a blood-stained basement used for human sacrifice, Hope Island police officers in black uniforms were dragging some corpses out.

"Well the Captain anticipated the hiccups."

"Still a minor problem? Didn't you see that these mentally ill people are not just on one island, they are likely to develop on any island with living people!!"

West ignored his sister. Compared with the previous crisis, just a few more psychopaths was really a small problem.

Just as he finished enjoying his breakfast and had just wiped his mouth with a napkin, the closed door creaked open and Mark, who was already a grown boy, poked his head out from outside.

"You still have the nerve to come back! Tell me! Where did you go last night?" Elena stood up with an angry look on her face, rolled up her sleeves, grabbed the broom in the corner and rushed towards her youngest son.

The mother and son were chasing each other and the room was in chaos.

West didn't take care of the household chores because he had to go to work or he would be late.

At the door, just as he lifted his legs and sat on the bicycle mat, he saw his sister following him out of the busy room. "What's going on?"

Lucy's face was a little shy, and she said shyly: "Well, I have a friend who is fascinated by the Governor and thinks he is so great! Can you have something that the Governor has used?"

West looked straight at his sister who had already started to grow taller. "Is that friend of yours you?"

As if what she said hit the mark, Lucy's face suddenly turned red, she clenched her fist and punched West hard a few times. "Are you going to help or not?"

"No help. He is very dangerous. Everything else is fine except this...stay away from him." After warning his sister, West pedaled away.

Although he could sacrifice his life for the captain, it did not mean that he was a qualified brother-in-law. If she married him, she would be hurt both mentally and physically.

Lucy is just an ordinary person. She just wants to live a peaceful and stable life under her protection.

After West came to the post office to pick up today's letter, he began today's letter delivery mission. The bicycle tires turned around and around, carrying West through the streets and alleys of Hope Island.
