Chapter 902: Dreams came true

Watching his wife and daughter talking, Jennifer stood up with a smile and said softly, "Honey, my daughter must be hungry after coming back from such a long distance. Let's make lunch quickly."

Olivia nodded, wiped her tears with her hands, and turned to walk towards the kitchen.

Seeing his wife just passed away, Oliver finally couldn't hold back his longing for her. He sat next to Lily and opened his arms tremblingly. "Mom is gone, dear daughter, come and let Dad hug you."

Lily smiled sweetly, she opened her arms and threw herself into his arms. The next second, Lily felt her father's hands tying her up like two big pythons. "Dad, you're strangling me."

Oliver quickly untied his hands, and after calming down, he looked at Lily in front of him, with an irrepressible smile on his face. "Our little shortbread has grown so big in a short time."

Lily jumped up and turned around happily in front of her father, "Dad, look, I'm an adult now!"

"Haha, are you an adult now? I feel like you still have the personality of a child."

"Damn it, I'm not a kid!"

Although he always wanted to be closer to his daughter, as the head of the family, he needed to ask for more details.

"Lily, what happened to you? Why did you suddenly disappear when you were on the ship? Were you swept into the sea? What happened after you left the ship?"

Lily's face showed a trace of memories. She looked at the TV in the distance and murmured to herself, "So many things happened after that. I don't know where to start."

"It's okay, Dad is not in a hurry, just think about it slowly, and tell me when you have made up your mind."

Although Lily was not physically hurt, Oliver was still worried and he had to get to the bottom of it.

After a long pause, Lily began to slowly tell a story, an adventure story she and her companions had experienced. In this story there was no suffering and no death.

She changed the names of the people on the Narwhal to other names, and moved their adventure location to the distant western sea area that her parents had never been to.

Lily knew that lying was a bad thing to do, but if she let her parents know what she had been through, they would definitely be more nervous and heartbroken.

Dr. Oliver struggled to analyze his daughter's bizarre story, but after a long time, he still had no clue.

If the person in front of him wasn't his own daughter, he would have definitely believed this was a made-up story.

As Lily was talking, all kinds of delicious food and fresh fruits were quickly placed on the table, and a bowl of milky fish soup was placed in front of Lily.

"Let's eat first. These are your favorite foods. You must be craving for them after being out for so long," the woman looked at her daughter with heartache.

Lily stared at the fish soup in front of her, then she carefully picked up a silver spoon and scooped the soup into her mouth.

She closed her eyes and felt the taste she had always dreamed of. After a few seconds, she looked up and smiled brightly at her mother. "Mom's sweet fish soup is so delicious."

"If it tastes good, drink more. This is all made for you." The woman quickly reached out and moved the sweet fish soup in front of Lily.

Lily looked at the warm environment, then looked at her parents who were staring at her. She had dreamed of this scene many times before, but this time it was real.

With a "creak", the door was pushed open from the outside, and the three people in the room looked over there at the same time.

When he saw Lily's surprised expression, Oliver quickly pushed the armchair away, walked over and carried the little girl to the dining table. "Lily, I forgot to tell you, this is your sister."

Obviously, the planes are different, and some subtle changes have occurred. That side is a son, and this side is a daughter.

The two girls, one big and one small, looked at each other. Finally, Lily spoke first. "Hello, my name is Lily. Nice to meet you. I'm your sister."

Facing a stranger, the little girl shrank back into her father's arms in fear. However, under the encouraging eyes of her two fathers, she whispered in her tiny voice, "Hello, Lily."

As soon as these words were spoken, the family looked at each other and smiled.

As dinner continued, laughter and joy among family members could be heard in the cozy room.

Lily slowly opened her eyes, and when she found herself being held by her mother, a trace of helplessness appeared on her face.

Ever since she came back, her mother always felt that she would lose her again. She followed her all the time these days and even had to chat with her outside when she went to the toilet.

Seeing that her mother didn't wake up, Lily closed her eyes again, smiled and stretched out her arms to hug her mother. "Ah, it feels so good to be home."

Lily didn't plan to take a nap. She was thinking about other things now. Her wish had finally come true. Next, she should consider what kind of person she should become.

When she was young, Lily's future wish was to become a good doctor who saves lives like her father.

But of course that is not the case now, she can choose more life, a new life that belongs to her human identity.

This was originally a very easy choice, but as she chose, Lily began to frown.

This choice was much harder than she thought, especially when there were so many options. She hadn't thought about this problem until she had breakfast.

Seeing her daughter constantly poking the beans on the plate with a silver fork, the woman seemed to see that her daughter was worried and asked her about it in a considerate manner.

"Nothing. I was just thinking about what I should do next." Lily gave the answer in her mind.

"How about you come and help me in my clinic? I just happen to need a nurse. You can learn from me and then become a doctor with me in the future." Oliver suggested directly.

Lily shook her head and rejected her father's proposal. "No, I don't want to be a doctor."

"Lily, don't be too quick to refuse. Although it takes a long time to train a doctor, this effort is beneficial. Once you complete your studies, your income will be very considerable."

In all the years that Lily has lived, she has long lost the interest that a normal person should have in income. It is impossible to use this man to attract her.

At this moment, Lily's sister Celia, who was drinking milk with a spoon, suddenly said, "Lily, come to school with me. The teacher said that only by going to school can you become a useful person."
