Tales of the Supernatural

Chapter 870: Final remarks

Views:

When I typed the last comma, I felt a sense of relief. The supernatural event started on August 12 and has lasted for 318 days.

To be honest, I have been thinking about how to write my final remarks for a long time. At that time, I was just thinking about it for fun, but now my mind is confused and chaotic, as if I can't let go of some emotions. Many readers feel the same way. I have been writing supernatural stories for more than ten months, and many readers have said that reading supernatural stories has become a habit in their lives. They take out their mobile phones or use their computers to read supernatural stories every day when they get home, or at a certain time.

Well~ since this is a post-book review, let’s talk about the book.

When I first started writing supernatural stories, I actually didn’t expect so many people would read them and like them. I was just writing them for fun at the time, but what I didn’t expect was that so many readers supported me. I’m very happy and honored that you like supernatural stories.

I remember that the most difficult period for me was between the second and fourth months of writing the book. At that time, I was working in the hairdressing industry. I went to work at eight o'clock every day and got off work at nine o'clock, working thirteen hours a day. After returning home, I would rest until ten o'clock in the evening, and then type until two in the morning. At that time, I did not type fast. Then I went to bed at around two-thirty and got up at seven-thirty. I could only sleep five hours a day.

This period lasted for nearly three months and was extremely painful, but fortunately I managed to get through it.

Let's talk about the content of the book. It has more than 1.8 million words so far. Many people say that the beginning is very good, humorous and interesting, but it is not so good in the middle and late stages. Well, yes, I admit this. Everyone knows that Xiaojiu is a novice, and the foreshadowing in the early stage was not well laid, which led to the collapse in the later stages.

Anyway, no matter whether the book "Supernatural Tales" is good or not, I thank all the friends who can stick to it and read the comments after finishing the book! Really, I remember a long time ago, I had a high fever. At that time, I had just returned from the hospital, and then I opened the group to check the messages and prepared to write. I accidentally revealed that I had a fever. At that time, many book friends asked me to rest and said that they would wait for another day tomorrow.

I was really touched at the time, but I still insisted on writing 6,000 words, which I am quite proud of.

I have already written this ending. Many people often ask me how to deal with the relationship between the two women. Should I have a stud? Let me say here that I hate stud novels the most, but why do I have to leave two women in the end? Why not kill one of them? I can't bear to do that.

And you can find that no one died in my ending. It is a relatively harmonious ending. Many authors simply have everyone die in the ending, but I found that I couldn't bear to do that. Qiuxiang and Su Daji are both characters that I portrayed with my heart. I cried when I wrote about Qiuxiang's departure, and I was even more reluctant to let Su Daji go. In that case, let them live with Xiaojiu. There will be no stud. The relationship between the three of them is like a love triangle, but they will not be husband and wife. I will describe this in the second book.

Since we are talking about the second book, let me say that the second book is already being planned. It is also a supernatural and humorous type. Xiaojiu's writing skills have been improved this time, and he will write a story that satisfies everyone, that is for sure. The protagonist is Chen Hui mentioned by Li Shigao in the finale.

Speaking of Chen Hui, I racked my brains to think of this protagonist's name. Chen Hui is actually the name of an author friend of mine. He originally wanted to name him Zhang Junqiao. When I was chatting with my friend, he said that this name sounded good. I thought his name was good, so I used it.

I have also set up a book club for the second book. Anyone who is waiting for the release of the second book can join in. The group will be notified as soon as the book is released. Group number: 223626313.

I will try to publish the new book within ten days, which is early July or mid-July. The specific date has not been decided yet, but it will definitely not be too long. The second book tells the story of Wu Jiu's apprentice, A Bao, Li Xuxiang and others. It will be humorous and funny, and strive to bring everyone a brand new story. The new book is tentatively named "One Hundred Demons Night Parade".

Why is it called the Night Parade of One Hundred Demons? The reason is that one time when I was chatting with a friend, I accidentally mentioned the Night Parade of One Hundred Demons, and he asked: Isn’t this a Japanese thing? I was stunned after hearing it, and then I searched on Baidu, added Tieba, etc., because it is an animation in the island country, many people think that the Night Parade of One Hundred Demons is a Japanese thing. In the last century, someone in the island country also wrote a book called the Night Parade of One Hundred Demons, which introduced hundreds of Japanese ghosts, but the Night Parade of One Hundred Demons first appeared in the Chinese folk. Xiaojiu has collected information on 45 kinds of ghosts. These are the real ghosts, and those in Japan are just some monsters.

What I want is for people to think of the Night Parade of One Hundred Demons as a Chinese product, rather than something made by the people of an island country!

I hope that everyone will support it when it is released. Phew, the end of supernatural stories is the beginning of the Night Parade of One Hundred Demons. The Night Parade of One Hundred Demons will definitely be better than supernatural stories. I am confident of this.

If you have any questions, please join the group. I’m in it too and will pop up often. See you in the next book!
