The Heavenly Doctor Fengjiu

Chapter 1539: Quiet mountain village

Views:

Unexpectedly, after walking outside, I only saw a cloud of dust flying on the mountain road, and the young man in red was nowhere to be seen.

"He just left like that?" The woman stamped her feet and bit her lip. She hadn't even asked the boy's name yet!

In the darkness of night, a white horse and a young man in red clothes were hurrying on a mountain road. The night wind blew towards them, making their eyes hurt.

While running, Lao Bai asked, "Master, is it really okay to leave that beauty there? What if she encounters danger?" In its opinion, the woman had a beautiful face and a plump figure, and if she went on the road alone, she would probably encounter danger.

If the owner was willing to take her with him, perhaps it wouldn't be so worried.

Hearing this, Fengjiu curled the corners of her lips and revealed a wicked smile: "Lao Bai, when we get home, I'll find you a female! How about that to help you calm down?"

"Master, I am a mutant. How can an ordinary horse be worthy of me, Old White? No, no, no."

As they galloped through the night, their sounds were blown away by the wind. The man and the horse chatted idly until, when it gradually dawned, they saw a small village.

"Master, we have a small village, let's go there and rest!" As Lao Bai spoke, he was already walking towards the village.

“Don’t speak once you enter the village, so as not to scare people.” Fengjiu instructed.

"Okay, I know."

It responded, then shut its mouth and walked into the village along the road. It saw some people going out in the morning carrying hoes or two wooden barrels. Smoke was rising from some roofs, and it was obvious that they were making breakfast.

Feng Jiu got off the horse, led Lao Bai to a house and knocked on the door: "Is anyone there?"

The simple wooden door creaked open, and an old woman came out to open the door. She was startled when she saw Feng Jiu, who was dressed in red and looked as beautiful as an immortal. She asked cautiously, "Sir, is there anything I can help you with?"

Seeing that it was an old woman, she smiled and asked, "Old lady, I am passing by here and would like to rest here. Is that possible?"

"Of course you can, but my house is simple, please don't despise me, young master." The old woman said as she opened the door and invited Fengjiu in. Seeing Fengjiu holding a horse in her hand, she said, "Young master, you can tie the horse to the wooden stake in front of the door."

"Okay." She responded, tied Lao Bai to the wooden stake in front of the door, patted its head, gave it a few instructions, and then entered the wooden house.

“Sir, we don’t have anything good at home. Please don’t be disgusted and just eat a little.” The old woman brought Fengjiu a bowl of millet porridge, a small dish of homemade pickled vegetables, and two pumpkin pancakes.

Looking at these farm snacks, Fengjiu smiled and thanked them quickly: "Thank you, old man." From the corner of her eye, she saw a little boy of about five or six years old with pigtails popping his head out from among them, staring at her curiously.

"Is this the old man's grandson?" She asked with a smile as she looked at the child.

"Yes, he's my grandson." The old woman showed a loving smile and waved to the little boy: "Xiao Hu, come out and meet the young master."

The little boy blinked, looked at Fengjiu shyly, then trotted out and hid behind his grandmother.
