Dozens of men in black appeared in front of the City Lord's Mansion and besieged Qi Kang. The guards in the City Lord's Mansion quickly rushed out, but after seeing the scene outside, no one dared to approach.
The sword formation formed by dozens of men in black trapped Qi Kang tightly in the sword formation like a spider web, not giving him a chance to retreat even a single step. Trapped in the sword formation, he would be scratched by the sword energy if he was not careful, and in serious cases he would even be cut in half.
The airflow surging from the sword formation was extremely powerful. The overwhelming aura that permeated the surroundings alone was enough to stop the guards from stepping forward to help. With that kind of strength, if they stepped forward, they would probably end up dead.
"call out!"
“Swish, swish, swish!”
The sharp air whistled past, and in the sword formation, Qi Kang avoided the sword blades in the sword formation while looking for a way to break the formation. After about half an incense stick of time, he found a way to break the formation, and when he struck with a sword, a man in black flew out with a bang, and the sword formation instantly scattered and disappeared.
The men in black were repelled by the powerful airflow of pressure. They staggered back a few steps and stared at Qi Kang vigilantly.
Qi Kang did not attack them again, but stared at the three leading men. He saw that the two on the left and right looked to be around 40 or 50 years old, while the one in the middle was an old man.
The old man held a black cane in his hand, which looked inconspicuous. However, among the three people, the aura of this old man was the most threatening.
"Kill him!" The old man narrowed his eyes and touched the cane in his hand, as if he was not the one who gave the killing order.
Dozens of men in black surrounded and attacked. Qi Kang frowned, thinking that this would be a waste of time.
So, he turned his palm, and a flying sword instantly appeared in his hand. The powerful spiritual energy surged from his body and poured into the sword in his hand. The sword in his hand quickly rushed up with spiritual energy visible to the naked eye.
At the tip of the sword, the whistling sword energy was wandering, and the next moment, the long sword in his hand flew out and placed in front of him, and the murderous intent and pressure contained in his body also burst out at this moment.
"Dare to cause trouble to me? Prepare to die!"
"call out!"
Qi Kang shouted angrily in a calm voice, and then the sword that was soaring into the sky chopped down fiercely. The sword energy visible to the naked eye formed a huge sword energy that rushed out with a whoosh and attacked the men in black at an incredible speed.
"call out!"
"ah!"
“Hiss! Ah!”
There was a sharp sound of airflow and screams, and the strong smell of blood spread the next moment. Corpses fell one after another in front of the gate of the City Lord's Mansion, and the blood dyed the ground red, shocking the people watching from afar and making them gasp.
Seeing this scene, the three people who had been standing not far away narrowed their eyes, and a vicious look flashed across their sinister eyes. The three of them stood in three corners, as if they wanted to kill him, so as not to let him have a chance to escape from their sight.
Qi Kang pointed the sword in his hand at the ground, and the blade was surging with spiritual energy. He looked at the three people in front of him and asked, "Who are you? Who ordered you to kill me?"
"The dead don't need to know." The old man said, staring at Qi Kang with turbid and sinister eyes.
